This was a last minute one night stay with the family. It was clean though there was a smoke smell to one of the rooms. We loved the kitchenette and appreciated the afternoon cookies and cheese along with the continental breakfast. It was a little pricey for what it is but to be expected on a holiday weekend. The service was great and we will be back.

We were pleasantly surprised by our king room - it had a full on kitchen, beautifully remodeled bathroom, comfortable bed and a slider to a gorgeous patio garden area. We loved the local wines and cheese at happy hour. But the breakfast was the best. Perfectly cooked oatmeal, blueberries, some sort of egg, spinach bites with green salsa, fresh ripened fruit cut up and displayed perfectly and pastries, bagels and cereal, yogurt cups with blueberries and granola available. Wonderful coffee. We left early in the morning having a wonderful rest and happy tummys. I filled up my water bottle with cucumber water. Love this adorable boutique hotel. Thank you! Thank you for doing it well.

Check in was s breeze, great concierge service(all 3 days). We wanted the hot tub, and also got wine and cheese evenings and solid breakfast. Easy to beaches, easy to downtown. This was our 2nd stay, not our last.

A comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen. Good bathroom amenities. Complimentary cheese and wine at 4.30pm was a nice bonus as was the complimentary bottle of sparkling wine in our room.

I was disappointed to realize this was more of a motel than a hotel. It was certainly not reflected in the price. But the place was clean. Customer service was excellent. The wine and cheese set up in the afternoon was a wonderful bonus. The coffee was good and the breakfast was okay. Location was excellent, just a quick three block walk to the beach, and a half mile from the funk zone.

Great little inn. Quiet and cozy. Our room was surprisingly spacious and very clean. Sufficient but limited parking. Love the little courtyard area. Reminded me of apartment living but without all the extra noise and traffic.

Arrived and were pleasantly surprised when the receptionist told us we had a free room upgrade. It was a lovely spacious room with separate kitchen and large bathroom. We only stopped for one night so the Free bike hire was great as it enabled us to see much more than we would have. Free breakfast was simple but very fresh and free wine and cheese at 6 was an added bonus. The staff were really helpful and are a credit to the hotel, which is conveniently located with short walk to beach and local shops.

Overall we had a good stay. The room had a slightly bad smell but we opened the windows. The front desk staff gave us lots of information about the area, however did not let us know that the beach close by has a significant amount of tar on it which ruined many articles of our clothing and shoes which had to be thrown out. Of course, not the hotels fault but definitely a heads up I would give to future guests when I'm telling them about the area

Very nice California style (cars parking outside room) hotel. I was greeted warmly & everything was explained fully. My Queen room with patio was very nice, clean, everything you could ask for. The breakfast that was provided was very nice with an "upgraded" continental style, eating on the patio was a +. The small pool was welcome after sightseeing. I would stay again for sure.

The outdoor patio furniture outside our room was dirty -stains on the fabric that no one could sit on for fear of staining one's clothing. $700 a night for this? We got hosed!

Everything was fine at the hotel, when we arrived we were offered a bottle of wine, but it wasn't in the room, we had to asked for it. Breakfast was good, but exactly the same every day. I believe the price was to high for what you get.

They left very few bath towels in our room. The supplies like paper towels and toilet paper were not soft or comfortable to use - they left very few shampoo/ conditioner soaps. Seemed sparse for what we were paying . Otherwise it was a good stay. Friendly and good parking . A bit father of a walk then I expected to state street but still walkable .

Steve, here with my family, two children and had a lovely time. Took the Amtrak from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara and this was a very convenient location That was about a 10 minute walk to the Amtrak station, and State Street. Had lots of access to shops and food. Also a 10 minute walk to the beach there was two small convenience stores located within two minutes, which were very convenient. Breakfast was Better than I expected, had lots of options for the kids, including oatmeal, egg bites, cereal, lots of pastries, yogurts. Really enjoyed having that convenience. Provided me with a pack and play for my one year old, the rooms are very clean. Staff was attentive to fix issue we had with the room. Would definitely stay here again.

The property is in dire need of a remodel. The shower drain was not working. I called the front desk and they stated they would see of maintenance was still available as it was past 9pm. The clerk then hung up the phone and never called us back. We called the from desk again and he stated maintenance had left for the day. He did not immediately ask us if we wanted a new room, we had to suggest it. He then asked 3 times if we had used any of the amenities, we said yes of course. We did try to take a shower. After all that we were moved to a new room. This was a much smaller room with a musty smell. The bed was caving in the middle. At this point we were just too tired to be moved again. The breakfast could offer more options as well.
