The location of this hotel was ideal. They are situated very close to the train station - but far enough that that you don't get a lot of traffic. They are centrally located to all the shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is a bit dated - could use a face lift. The room was small but understandable in Itay. We got free parking which was a bonus. The breakfast had good options and food was fresh. The breakfast area was updated and had more of a modern look and feel.

Enjoyed my 2 nights here. Modern, comfortable furnishings, well-maintained, and location can't be beaten: 5-minute direct walk from train station, 10-minute direct walk to very nice, sandy beach, and attractive miles-long "lungomare" paved with smooth stone, also incorporating a composite-surfaced bike track - great area for running and fitness, to which Pescarans seem really committed, to their credit. Pescara itself has large pedestrian/cyclist-only areas with lots of shopping, restaurants, gelaterias, etc. The hotel is perfectly situated to take advantage of all that.

Lovely hotel with lovely staff and is in a fantastic location. Personal thing but the pillows were not to my liking and there was no BBC news channel but hey - it’s an Italian hotel in Italy so I can’t complain.

We stayed here in 2017 and again in 2019 and returned for a third time this year. Still every bit as good despite ownership change. People still very friendly. One note though is that the piazza is quite noisy at night and is cleaned very early loudly, and you can hear heavy trains at all times so best to shut windows and tolerate the aircon ! Earplugs may help. Great for city centre life and hugely convenient for the Abruzzo region in general. Also has fenced off free parking.

We only stayed one night but should have stayed longer. The hotel was a very classy building with beautiful marble bathrooms attached to the bedrooms.
The breakfast was very generous in an expansive room overlooking the square and the church.
Would definitely recommend.

Great service, simple easy check in and out, breakfast included was fabulous, air-conditioning was the best we’ve had in all of Europe. Would have been great as an added bonus if they had smart tv or Netflix on it as it was all in Italian but that would exceed expectations. Very happy with our stay.,

Property was nice - staff super nice. They were able to accommodate our request for a quiet room. However, the room itself did not have reachable outlets for plug ins - it was pretty inconvenient. Other than that, the place was nice.

I had an amazing time at Hotel Plaza. Staff were friendly and welcoming and helped us find things to do. The free breakfast was delicious and constantly refreshed. Rooms were spacious, clean and fully stocked.

This hotel would have been fairly grand back in the day. It has a classic feel to its entrance and lobby. The rooms have been updated perfectly and come very well stocked.

Very well situated - 100m from the train station and yet reconnected directly to the pedestrian area going through the town..
The hotel offered courtesy coffee and snacks 24/7, which was a nice touch.
The TV had a problem, showing the channel for about 5 seconds, then 5 seconds "signal not available" before 5 seconds viewing again. We didn't bother to report it until checkout, but we feel sure it would have been resolved if we reported it.

We liked the location near the train station but it was uncomfortably warm, we were awakened by toilets flushing during the night and there was scant amount of space for two suitcases The sheets were good quality and beds comfortable

This is our second trip to Pescara and to this hotel! Everyone at the front desk was very helpful. Our room was very nice with a large bathroom. It is very conveniently located near the train station and the beach. We loved being right next door to a lovely Catholic Church - Sacro Cuore.
