The hotel was clean. Beds and bath were as expected. The online check in seems to be silly because you still need to check in at the desk rather than just grab a key. If you get Room 327 and like your room dark ask for another. The roof top lights are directed to your window. Staff allowed me to change when I could not get to sleep

Their breakfast buffet is great and the room was clean. They don’t have coffeemakers in their room which is disappointing but they do have coffee in the lobby.

The hotel was ok although the room had a slight smell, but not enough to leave. The breakfast attendant, was very nice and helpful. Dude at desk was should smile a little

We had a few hiccups in our stay, but Micheal did his best to make our stay pleasant, and we greatly appreciated him. Good location, clean rooms, so overall no complaints!

This was a very nice property, especially for the price. It was clean and the pool area is great. Our only negative comment would be the rush to get us checked out. Check out time is posted as noon. The desk called us at 11:15 to remind us of this. Then we needed to make two trips to our car, but when we went back for the last of our stuff at 11:40, we couldn't get back in... minor, but annoying. We would stay here again.

We arrived to find one toilet paper roll with four sheets remaining. Fast talking man behind check in counter wanted to give us one roll, when we asked for two. He fought us. Then he programmed out electronic key on third floor to another family for our exact same room! Talk about terror! Then, he changed our electronic key that we couldn't get back in! Finally, outdoor flood lights on side of building were visible through the night, as curtains (room darkening type) were not wide enough to prevent flood lights to light up the room. He continued to say they were 'full' for entire weekend, which was clearly not true....but we really believe they are so short-staffed they could only take care of a limited amount of guests. This is NOT a quality facility. Hospitality was almost non-existent. Very disappointed.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Refrig in room did not work. Never got my email bill.

Overall, it was a good stay for the cost.

Coming from Joliet, it is difficult to see road sign for turning to Wingate. Lighting might help.

Spotlight hitting the window, Air Conditioner weak and I walked into a warm room at midnight tired as could be. Bed was hard. Checkout did not yield a receipt as requested.

When I went to check out. No one was at the front desk. I was told to dial on the phone. The lady on the other end, said they were short staffed and she was helping another guest on another floor. The hand sanitizer she said the “cartridge” was on back order. Really?

Looking for one night in the town of Joliet en route back to Chicago on route 66

Our family book seven rooms for a family event. The check-in process was fine, the two gentleman that helped us were nice and friendly. The rooms were clean, however, some did smell. Ours smelled like a wet rag or a wet dog, we think it was the air freshener they placed in the air conditioner. One of the rooms smelled like cigarettes and they were able to move one of our guests to another room. Breakfast was typical and decent. Waffles, pancakes, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, fruit. Etc. Can't speak about the pool, we didn't go swimming. Checking out was different. Beth, who was working at the front desk this morning was not pleasant. She was not friendly, and her tone of voice was very sharp. We asked for receipts for each room. She seemed annoyed and said she wasn't supposed to print it unless it was for the person who stayed in that room. I told her that we paid for all 7 rooms, so we would like to see the total. As we gave the names for the primary guest listed in each room, she argued about how one of the guests came early in the morning to hand the key. The person who stayed in that room told her they didn't leave the key like she mentioned, but she continued to argue with my mom. We ended up just leaving because it was escalating. She has bad customer service and should not be in the front desk.
