Great stay

Great location across the street from the Mackinaw Bridge.

We had multiple provlems with the key not unlockong the room. The TV required repair. Room located 1st floor. Very noisy upatairs neighbor. And NO breakfast. Says breakfast included on websites Staff says "there are things in there" The "things " were coffee complete with grounds and dry packaged breafast bars. Staff asked about hot breakfast. They say have not had any since Covid???. This is an excuse not a reason after 4 yrs Breakfast is offered by other hotels. In short it was an unpleasant experience. We will never ever stay at a Super 8 again. They are not Super

Its a nice place to go if you are not looking anything fancy. It's located in a great walkable area to main attractions. Very convenient!

This is part hotel and motel, you reserve a hotel room and get a motel room because it was booked through Expedia. Property manager and staff very rude. Breakfast item means granola bar and courtyard means parking lot. Read the fine print and don’t trust the reservation,

One word BEDBUGS! Beware.

All we want is a clean and adequate room. Upon our arrival to the hotel it was hot and our room was very stuffy. I tried to activate the a/c unit to no avail. I contacted the front desk and was told place it at 60f, it has to be colder than outside. We had a south facing room, it was hot outside. I advised the desk again and did everything they asked. All I got was a dog and pony show. Two hours later and nothing. I asked about a new room and was told there were none in my room class available. Again our a/c was not working, it was a new unit and nothing they did worked. They finally decided to call the a/c company. It is now 7pm and I have to be up at 4am! I was dealing with the same woman from the front desk every time. She came back to our room and said there was some major police incident and repair would not be able to get there. Suddenly the room next door was available, in the same class. Why was my wife and I treated like we knew nothing and why were we lied to about a different room. This could have easily be handled professionally and very promptly by just changing our room. I would have given them five stars if they did.

I had 2 children with me, they woke up the 2nd day we were there and they had multiple bug bites on their legs and arms. I let the front desk know about it, she called the manager, he looked at the bites and said they're not bed bug bites,.He said there's nothing they can do about it but they'll call headquarters and see if they want to do anything about it. He tried to blame us asking where we went the day before . There wasn't even an apology or asking what they can do to make things better. There are a half dozen other hotels within walking distance I'll stay before going back there

We always come to this one. It is smoke free, we usually get a balcony room. Little disappointed by the surrounding balcony patrons and their marijuana use, because well we could smell it on our balcony, in our room, and right into out ooen window (obviously). Was surprised to learn of the area hotels that are affiated and offer usage of their beaches and other amenities. Definitely will revisit again next year

Very clean! No microwave in room. Bathroom very outdated. View was spectacular overall great room

The elevator and hall carpets could use a little attention with a vacuum. A granola cookie does not constitute serving breakfast. Otherwise not bad for the price. They have a good sense of humor, we were on the backside off the hotel with no view of the bridge but our room had a giant picture of the bridge.

On the first night there i woke up with bits all over my body and when i said something they said it was because they have hard water i paid 230 for two nights and i got all bite up i would never recommend this place to know one i think i should get my money back

It was the most disgusting hotel I have ever been in. The staff were rude and unprofessional at check-in and check-out. The room was so gross and looked like several safety issues with the lighting. I have no clue why or how this hotel is still in business.

We had a great experience at the Super 8 Bridgeview in Mackinaw City. The woman who checked us in was very helpful and explained many discounts or free attractions in the area. The room was clean and roomy . The kids loved the large pool. We would definitely stay there again.

Small motor inn style with nice exterior, adjacent parking, decent room and good shower, easy walk to downtown, and our favourite park/walk is across the street beside the lighthouse, overlooking the bridge. Everything you need in Mackinaw City.

Check in gal was rude, Hotel is old and walls/ceilings thin. Could hear everything all night long. Got NO sleep. Should have just slept in my car

Outdated and poor upkeep. Location is good with great view of the Bridge. Walking distance to local restaurants and shopping.

Be sure to read the silly announcement you get when you sign in! If towels are needed for the 2nd night of your stay they have to be ordered at check in. They don’t have any fresh towels to replace your shower towels with. My pilllow smelled Terrible-so much so that I dreaded going to sleep the 2nd night. Smelled like a dirty old man’s baseball cap smells. Also no fitted sheets so our bed sheets were a mess after the first night. Pay a bit more and check the ratings and reviews.

It was good stay

Awful smell, uncomfortable beds, loud, not enough parking in the lot so had to park offsite in a grassy area. You get what you pay for but Wyndham should be ashamed for having this property under their name.

This is an overpriced, old property that I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Staff is rude and very unprofessional. "Breakfast" is a granola bar. Rooms are old, dusty, dirty, and outdated. Entire property smells musty. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Parking is scarce. Lock system didn't work properly. The general manager does not care about the property at all. They're charging crazy high rates and not investing any of that money into improving the property. The only good thing is being able to walk across the street for a good view of the bridge. It was so bad we stayed one night and left instead of the two nights we had booked. No refund offered, as previously stated the staff is rude and doesn't care. You can tell by the reviews that complaints mean nothing to them. Do not stay at this hotel.

For the price point, I expected a lot better… granted it is a Super 8 but the staff were less than friendly… upon check-in one employee was having a fit on her cellphone while checking a guest in about how she was supposed to leave work at 4:00 and complaining about the other employee being late… thankfully I didn’t have to check-in with her, poor attitudes all around. The room was “okay”…electrical outlets did not seems safe, phone charger kept falling out of the wall…. Parking was a nightmare… checked out the dark sky park and came back late to find no where to park, hotel staff said to park in the handicap which I found to be disrespectful to those who need it… then was told to park in the grass which was also sketchy… 1/10 not returning. So much potential for the location, needs new management and a refresh to the rooms.

I enjoyed the quietness but one thing was they didn’t have good service. Terrible service

Warm pool, cozy room.

Does need some updates, such as railings tightened, carpets replaced outside doors need to be locked for hotel guests security, needs a better breakfast for the price you pay to stay compared to other hotels a granola bar doesnt cut it. I was only ever able to get a lukewarm shower never a hot one even when having the dial turned all the way to only hot water. But we did love the wood decor.

Was great. Near good food and Macinaw ferry

My crew and I were doing the Lake Michigan circle tour on our Harleys and this was our 2nd overnight stop. Nice hotel and walkable to attractions.
