Parking was off street - safe and convenient although you paid extra for it. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

30 minute walk from downtown area, great restaurant next door with live music & amazing food! small room but very clean & comfortable with a balcony!

Amazing place to stay with an amazing staff! Helped me out in every way possible! Only down side is you have to pay to use the pool and spa but whatever! Its still an amazing spot to stay if you dont mind walking its about a 20 mjnute walk into the city center

It was a convenient place with cafes and restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. The staff was efficient, helpful and friendly. We loved the complimentary spa access for our room.

Reading all the poor reviews for this hotel would have put me off but as we had little other option I reluctantly chose this hotel. Do not let the poor reviews influence your decision, the hotel was clean, the staff were super friendly and while the location wasn't ideal its a bus ride to the Duomo. I would stay again if in Florence.

We were not in the main building but in another building that was a little run down. Pool services were 20 euros for two hrs.. expensive.

Great hotel for family with spacious rooms and access to a pool (for extra money). Staff are very helpful and friendly. It is a 30 minute walk to Duomo and Centre of Florence. So you feel like you’re at at resort instead of a downtown experience.

The staff was very unfriendly, the guy who is there to help with carry the luggage and show you the room was rude, we asked questions and they were very rude in the way they answered.

Absolutely shocked at how this property is portrayed online. It is located in a shady area and feels incredibly unsafe. Rooms are subpar and washrooms are disgusting. Would not recommend, especially for tourists.

Staff we’re very friendly and helpful

Loved everything about this hotel. One negative comment is that every day more mosquitos found their way to our room. We don’t know how they were getting in. Also the air con unit leaked. But every other thing was perfect - bed, bathroom and bedroom was spacious, clean, modern etc. hotel was very friendly and easy to use

Poor reception service. Reallllly slow to handle our check in as if no care in the world. Hotel itself is clean with good sized room but old and we got bitten by mosquitos for a couple of nights. Far away from city centre but can walk to if needed. Area around hotel is ok. But would never stay here again.

Not comfortable at all compared to other hotels in Italy. The charges are very high and service is low.

the hotel is very simple but clean the only (Very) negative point was the breakfast experience, it seems that the staff was not enough to serve us, the welcoming at the restaurant was very bad, we waited almost 1 hour to be served. when we entered the breakfast room we were not told hello, the two waiters ignored us. we were served ourselves at the buffet but an employee told us in an aggressive way that we had to sit down and that she would come and take the order. we had to call her several times because she never came. Finally they bring us a document to check off what we want to eat but she asks us for it and brings us something else than what we "ordered" (the eggs were missing, and juices were not what was ordered) It's quite absurd to be welcomed like this in a 4* hotel (even in hotels with fewer stars...) if the staff is not enough to provide a quality welcome and service, why not let the guests serve themselves at the buffet?

Hotel outside Florence central parts. Great if you have a car. Nice hotel.

A very good service with excellent room facilities

Property was good but the location is too far from the city.

The room above was noisy. Sounded as though they were moving furniture around all night. I called the front desk 4 times and they did nothing. They actually got annoyed with me for calling. The noise went past 1:00am.

The hotel is located within a 2 min walk to a bus stop. Walk to center is about 20-25 minutes and easy. There is a Coop supermarket one street over. Location excellent. Great hotel for Florence!

Every thing was good except the location situated away from main city every time you go to visit places either go by bus or call a taxi

The hotel was very close to the bus route and not far from the train station.

The lifts weren’t working properly, to iron our clothes we had to go all the way down since they don’t provide irons in the rooms. They don’t provide a kettle with tea or coffee unless we ask for it. Even that they expect us to come down to the reception and take it ourselves. We weren’t familiar with the area when we booked but it’s a little out of old town. Around €10 in a taxi, but public transport is available till late night.We definitely won’t be coming back to Grifone

This property was terrible, 0 star for service and quality. Very rude staff, our room was not clean or satisfactory and it was not even inside the main hotel area. We tried to ask for another room and they would not give us one. Will never stay at this hotel again - do not recommend.

we had a hire car which restricted where we could stay in Florence. This hotel allowed us to park, with friendly staff and very comfy beds. The TV did not have all listed channels available and some bottled water free in the rooms would have been nice. They only offer breakfast no where to eat in the hotel for lunch or dinner. That said it was clean and comfy with helpful staff. It was a 30 min walk to the city centre or there is a bus which stops 2 mins walk from the hotel.

the room wasnt ready, but then they fix the issue, they dont clean the room every day or change sheets. the breakfast was ok. it would be much better if the people work in the front try to smile a bit and be nicer and use words like Hi, have a nice day,

Had I known they were so many steps to manage I would have booked Hotel Florida instead. However the B&B is clean and not far from the station and near a lot of eating places.

Very good stay. Excellent hotel. Comfortable, clean, quiet area, and friendly staff. Luca at the front desk was an extremely kind gentleman. The only problem with the hotel was the WiFi. The connection was very poor and often did not work at all for a solid half hour or so. If you need reliable internet connection, do not stay here. If you do not need it, then I highly recommend this hotel.

Last night I had NO WATER in my room, the internet is not working, they did not replunish toilet paper in my room. I am now sitting in here and there's a construction site unfer my window with a drill working at an unbearable loudness. STAY AWAY!
