Great garden, food and table tennis!

Great overnight stay on our way to Budapest. Walked into Regensburg for dinner along the river path from the hotel. Room was spacious and clean for family of 4. Breakfast was very good! Easy to get back onto the autobahn and conjure our journey.

Check in was easy and friendly and our room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is in a good location with a walk along the Danube to the town centre. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice of hot and cold options including freshly made pancakes!

Very nice hotel near the motorway easy to access. The breakfast doesn’t start until 07 in the morning during the weekend, 06 or 06:30 would be great.

Very helpful and kind staff. Clean room. Comfortable beds. Wifi works well. Why bacon crumbs are served for breakfast? I'd love to have bacon and/or wurst for breakfast with fresh brezel ;) Es ist möglich?

Friendly staff. Breakfast was so-so. The hotel is convenient to downtown Regensburg. Quiet, nice location. Only complaint is cleanliness of the room; I stayed two weeks total and the room was not once made up after arrival.

Location (outskirts of Regensburg) perfect for our short sleepover, roomy and nicely decorated family room, clean.

Wonderful location within steps from the canal. Lots of trails available for jogging or a pleasent walk.

We liked the closeness to the town. As a large family visiting it was nice to be able to hire bikes and scooters for the children. The children also liked the games room too. The room were a good size and comfortable.

Room is clean and looks ok but nothing around the hotel. There's just one gas stand. So if you want to have a dinner, you need to use the hotel restaurant without any other choice.

It was a clean and comfortable hotel situated right on the river bank.

Really enjoyed our stay here. An AMAZING kids play space (books, PlayStation, table tennis table etc) - the kids loved it! Comfortable room, friendly staff, nice bar area and really good breakfast. We caught public transport (bus - if you do, get off at Pfaffenheimer Brucke as otherwise it’s hard to cross the road) but then we just walked into the old town by the river which takes 25 min or so.

Excellent breakfast! The hotel is super clean and has a great location.

The most important reason for staying at this hotel as opposed to one inside the old city was because air conditioning was advertised. Alas, a/c was not working at all. Not only the air blown out was not cold, there was barely any air flow. Putting my hand above the a/c vent, I could barely feel anything. Contacted the front desk. The chap came to the room to check and made sure that a/c was set to -3 and said there wasnt much he could do. The dial has only a setting ranging from +3 to -3, with -3 being the coldest. But as mentioned, it didnt do anything. Further, there was no fan. We stayed there for two nights and had to sleep with windows open, then the bugs came in. We found ourselves all bitten up in the morning. There was no screen for the windows. Plus, the room was so hot, we spent 18 euro a night just on water, 3 euro for a very small bottle. Location-wise, the hotel is a good 15-20 minutes walk to the city. Normally, it wont be an issue, except it was very hot. So, we basically had the worst of both worlds, no a/c and had to walk back and forth to the city. Taking a cab would be impractical as it would require a big detour to get around the river. Had the hotel not advertising a/c, we would have stayed in the old city and avoid walking under hot sun. I understand Europe (and everywhere) is experiencing hotter weather. However, this trend had been going on for a few years. Its plainly deceiving for the hotel to advertise a/c while it doesnt work at all.

The additional “bed” in our room consisted of a very hard leather sofa, not suited to sleep on. There is no refrigerator in the room, no gym at the hotel, air conditioning and WiFi worked poorly. They kept running out of dishes at breakfast and they charge an outrageous parking fee of $9/day. Part of the staff was rude and refused to supply additional blankets to cushion the additional bed. Overall bad experience and we will be sure to not return to this hotel.

There was a renovation at the hotel, it was pretty normal but all the electricity cable were open and there were lots of dangerous stuff for the kids. I feedbacked this situation to reception and they event did not show any interest.

Lobby is under construction Feb 2019 but minimal disturbance. Hotel has been continuously updated with new features like rain showers.Free breakfast is nice, though typical with some hot and cold items. 24 hour front desk is useful. No refrigerator un room but you can store it with the hotel.

Hotel was under construction (lack of such info when bookings were done), which caused some unconvienamces, e.g all lifts were out of order. At reception I was not told that kids are entitled to have special kids box (snacks for travel)... I had to specially asked for it.

The room was very spacious, nice and clean. The breakfast is just amazing. The parking costs about 8 eur/night which is not too bad.
