when you walked in all you smelled was weed from the staff smoking in the laundry room behind the front counter. breakfast was horrible. out of date muffins and old coffee. we didn’t recieve housekeeping. the door only worked half of the time because the card reader wouldn’t work.

The extended stay was nice and clean. Didnt have issues with the room or staff. The continental breakfast was lacking but compensated for its kitchen. We had an air fryer and was able to cook in the room. Wifi was also good.

The front desk staff at the time that we checked in at 8PM on July 22, 2024 was accommodating (4 start). She did everything to help us change the dirty linen, pillow cases, provide cooking pots/pans despite the unit that we were given was dusty and untidy.

Our stay was great. Granted, these are older rooms and not real updated but for the price we paid I felt we got a good deal. The beds were very comfortable, everything was clean, and was supplied with everything we needed. The big burner on the stove wasn't working. My husband went to report it to the front desk clerk. I didn't figure anything would truly be done about it. We came back to our room that evening and it had been replaced! The work order was left on the table. The staff there was very friendly and helpful and the evening associate in Wednesday night was incredible. I wish I could remember her name - but I want to give a big shout-out to her. She was very personable and made me feel very comfortable and seems to genuinely care about people. We will definitely be back in October for our anniversary!

Easy parking and quiet area. Great for family vacation

Ok . One of the employees had a crazy look on her face and when my daughter and I were checking out .

Sheets on the bed/dirty upon check in; Air-conditioning was OUT when I checked in & miserable; very HOT/humid in-room, 3 days & nights! The 4th day the air condition replaced swiftly by Jenafer, who was very cool! Upon arrival, I drove to Walmart & purchased enough food for an entire week since I was staying in the room for 7 nights . My refrigerator was OUT OF ORDER the first 3 days that I was there. I did NOT know that it was NOT working until next day becuz freezer at top was working, but the bottom part was NOT & my lunch meat,cheese and food mayonnaise /mustard FOOD ruined, AND WAS EXPENSIVE! An employee named Teresa, fixed the refrigerator on the third day and was very nice about it. The third night I was there I attempted to pop popcorn in my microwave and it would go for 30 seconds and then stop and I would have to get up and push start again and then it would go for another 20 seconds and stop and then it burned my popcorn so it did not work properly either. However after the air conditioner was replaced I guess it was trying to cool the room off for several days and left pools of water in the floor and I had to take the wet towels down to the front desk twice a day; they had to give me dirty rag towels to use in my floor to soak up the water; I was working!The hotel was fully booked as its vacation time on Florida for many families. Thank God I brought my hair dryer because the hairdryer in the bathroom room 303 does NOT work either. So I had to go buy one.

They don’t clean the rooms you have to go to counter and ask for clean towels and bedsheets don’t even have a small trash can inside the room.

The property was terrible. I am used to staying on Extended Stay complexes in other cities but this location was an awful experience, an unpleasant voyage. Besides the nice lady that received us at night everything was disastrous. The hotel stinks. The corridor and the inside of the room had a bad smell and were extremely grimy. I had to ask for a broom in the reception to clean the area in front of our room and inside our room because the carpet and the floor were full of dirt and trash. I saw hairs fragments on the sheets and I didn’t have the courage to look the drains on the bathroom, but my daughters commented there were chunks of hair attached to the ducts. The pictures that they published online and portrayed on the communal televisions are probably in another organization, nothing related with the reality of this one. An additional conflict I faced was to be afraid of being there. The people looked greatly scary, we heard loud voices in the corridors and steps completed above our heads, and we had to double lock the room door and put a chair in front of the entrance to protect my family while we were sleeping. It is very disappointing and depressing to travel 8 hours by car to experience the wonderful beaches and gorgeous locations of Destin and receive the accommodation of a location so unclean and with such a horrible smell. In my perspective, it is unfair to offer a deceased institution to a group of people who have nourished such high expectations on a family trip

Good location and seemingly nice for what it was. Roof leaked during storms, room smelled like mildew and the room adjacent to ours had very peculiar behavior with small children and two men laying in the hallway and always a different child or adult sleeping in the hallway.

Excellent staff.

I liked the room set up. However there was a hole in the ceiling of the lobby. The room smelled like somebody has been working in a fast food joint and left there clothes in there for months. Lysol helped.

Room was very clean. Staff was very nice. We only stayed a few hours over night but would definitely stay there again.

They have to improve the breakfast service and the room.

No elevator service, filthy room and bathroom, no hot water in kitchen area. Had to leave 5 nights early into a 7 night stay due to unavoidable medical emergency and was RIPPED OFF by the hotel… uncharged the 2 nights I stayed with fees that made a $75 a night room $150 a night. I will NEVER stay at an Extended Stay America property again!!!

Elevator out of service majority of stay

The price that I paid for the room , only to be highly disappointed. I bought this to the front Desk attention only to to brushed off , even had pictures to show the the issues. They didn’t even to attempt to make it right.

Check in took a little bit due to the front person cleaning rooms and having to take care of the front, she was really nice though. It smelled strongly like cigarette. Elevators didn’t work. There was electrical tape holding some furniture together. I also saw a small roach when we left. Do not recommend.

This was one of the worst hotels I have ever booked through hotels.com. I wish I could have moved to another hotel. The elevator didn't work, and we had a traveler that was on a walker. They finally moved them to the first floor after we threw a fit. They first told us there were no rooms left on the first floor. They never informed us when we booked that the elevator was under repair. The hotel is old and in desperate need of an upgrade. I will never stay here again.
