very nice room with comfy bed and great shower. had all the amenities we like. Our only complaint, and it is a big one....get rid of those flimsy bath towels!!! They didn't even dry us! we would stay here again.

The rooms were not clean and smelled foul. Walking down the halls and seeing people enter and exit it seemed as though people lived in the motel.

This Super 8 is to be in a class somewhere between a Motel 6 and a Best Western.
The room was clean enough.
Towels were terrible, they were scratchy with little fluff.
I had to fix the toilet seat because the bolt had become loose.
This was obvious.
The air conditioner was very load and outdated.
The most significant grievance was the lack of anything close to a Continental Breakfast.
What was available, was not much, there was such a poor selection of offered item.
It was pathetic !
Now.....if the price point was right, I would stay there again.

Incredibly unfriendly staff, unclean and run down rooms with ill-fitting pilled bedsheets and cheap threadbare polyester bath towels that don’t actually dry you off. There were drunk (or high?) people hanging out in the parking lot and first floor hallways. Also look out for the dog poop, which seems to be everywhere.
Had issues checking out because the person at the front desk was making small talk with coworkers and refused to acknowledge mine or other customers presence in the lobby.
This would be a last-resort place to stay. After this experience , If there were no other hotels available in Chico, I’d probably prefer to sleep in my car.

Room carpet looked like it was not one to go barefoot in. Breakfast room was very small and the sign stated you couldn't take it back to your room. Hard not to do when it only seats around 10 people.

So the pictures made it look nice but in reality it was a lot disappointing. The rooms werent very clean. Looks like the mussed vacuuming and some cleaning. We asked for extra towels and got them by pucking them up at the front desk. Left to go take care of family businesses and came bakc to all but one towel taken out of the room. The two rooms we had the clocks didnt work neither did the phones. Disappointing stay all together. Dont think i will stay at a super 8 again well atleast not in chico.

This is the 2nd time I stayed at this property. I will always stay here when in Chico. It is quiet and sweet. The staff are nice and the location is convenient to everything! I feel safe staying here. It is cozy!

While the desk personel were pleasent.
The Motel has NO ELEVATOR, normally we wouldn't care but my wife has MS and I'm recovering from major Hamstring Repair Surgery. So stairs are not our friends. It said nothing in the online App and our Reservation was non-refundable.
Also every day a Major odor of Marijuana which gave us a headache. Then with our DO NOT DISTURB sign still on the door this morning the housekeeping person knocked and tried to walk right in on my wife while I was taking things to the Truck. So there are some things that need attention and proper etiquette.

The place was clean but in an area near the 99 Highway that was frequented by homeless types. I enjoyed my stay but the road to the Super 8 is very rough and needs to be re-paved! I liked the location which was close to Denny's (an affordable breakfast). The "free breakfast at Super 8 was pathetic....waffles and processed pastries....NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

This is an older, very basic property but it is very reasonabl priced and was clean. There is a grassy area for dogs, mini-fridge, mini waffles for breakfast. The front desk people were very pleasant. Minimal noise from other rooms. Good shower. Room a/c worked great. Ironing board/iron/hairdryer.
Cons: thin blankets, some thin towels some thick. Minimal soap/shampoo.
We were there 2 nights, slept fine.

The room was clean. The pool was nice. The 99 freeway runs alongside so there was traffic noise during the day. One big red flag is that this is a 3-story motel with NO ELEVATOR! If you have any trouble walking up stairs with or without luggage, you may want to insist on a ground floor room when reserving.

We liked that there was a fridge and a microwave because we came in late and only have easy-to-heat foods. Nice room decor and comfortable bed and pillows. Decent continental breakfast, or if you want a full hot breakfast there is a Denny’s next door. There were old stains in the carpet, but the bathroom is clean. Staff are friendly and helpful.
