My experience at Econo Lodge at Cocoa Beach has the worst ever for the following reason; dirty bad smell mold and and I saw small bedbugs. I am waiting for my refund. I checked the unhealthy condition and we left with my family. Customer service unwilling to listen to my concerns.

This was our second time staying here. We chose the hotel because of our previous experience. Upon this visit, the door to the room was a challenge as you had to slam it shut (fromt desk was notified) and the bathroom could use an update. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and it is conveniently located near the beach, restaurants, and shopping.

I have read the reviews for this property. And i can tell you that most of the reviews that are negatively talked about for this site are not true. I have been here over 10 days, there are no roaches,bedbugs!!! The room is clean the beds are very Comfortable not to mention the pillows 10/10. Everything works and is clean. Has BEAUTIFUL pool and is very well maintained. The staff here has been very accommodating. I have had absolutely no problems with the stff. I think people come here thinking about hotels and not realizing they are at a motel Not a hotel, there is a difference !

I stayed here as part of a visit with my son at the naval base near the Space Force base. It was definitely convenient to the cruise port and SF base, along with stores, the beach, and other amenities. The condition of the room was "well-worn" but I found the cleanliness and general comfort satisfactory. The general area seemed secure and I did not have a concern with my property/car being parked outside. I can sum it up by saying this was a conveniently-located, cheap and clean bed for a night or two.

There was died cockroaches on the floor in the bathroom and main room, had to go and ask for towels, amenities looked like they tried to do reno but at the end painted everything brown, main office stinks so bad my eyes was getting watery

I ased for a handicapped room for my elderly mother and after we arrived we were told they couldnt accomodate us and we had tongo tonanother hotel.

For the price I paid for a room for one night was horrible the rooms was molded the ice machine was molded it was the worst day ever the first room they gave me smell the like nothing but a cigarette bar I would never stay there again and won't recommend any family members it was the verse

S@!T Hole! Terrible management / ownership Property is very poor condition, room smelled terrible, really could not believe it was left like that, door lock/latch was obviously broken into and not replaced, light switch didn't work at door. Greasy hand prints on head boards of beds. Reserved for 2 nights online unfortunately, got dropped off and had to arrive late or we would have went elsewhere. When we wanted to cancel our second night because of the overall S@!T hole of a room they denied it and said it was policy! Thieving prick kept the money for other night even though we checked out early.

The property is a bit weathered and old but it has wifi, fridge, microwave and a coffee pot. For a one night stay and a cruise next day it is adequate

The mirror in the bathroom was very dirty. The front desk staff was very friendly, but the front office had a unpleasant odor. I even smelt it on the paper coffee cups wrapped in plastic.

The bed was decent. Refrigerator was filthy, along with a he microwave, miirrors & head board. The shower curtains had mold on them, along with hair in the bath tub. The night shift manager took pictures, to provide to day shifts ft manager.

The shower liner was filthy & had mold on it in multiple rooms. There was a smell of wet dogs in the rooms.

The hotel itself is filcthy bathroom was disgusting- thank goodness I brought a sheet set and blanket

Wanted something of value that was near the beaches.

Ad was misleading, this motel doesn’t even look like the photo posted. Much further from cocoa beach than advertised. I also found a cockroach when I was packing my things to leave. The staff were lovely and came to get said cockroach from my belongings. Our TV also didn’t work properly, but staff came and fixed it pretty quickly. Overall great staff, sketchy motel.

The sink did drain, I told two people but no one fixed it. By the end of our stay water was standing in the sink. The hairdryer didn’t work. There was what looked like human feces on the ceiling. They did clean that up after I talked to them.

It was affordable and in great location

The staff was pleasant but the property wasn’t in the best condition and the shower did not drain. Good location.

The floor in the room was very dirty. Cigarette burn in the comforter. The blow dryer in the bathroom did not work. For the cost it was not worth it at all.

The rooms are great. The floors are a little dirty, took a shower walk around barefoot in our room before I put on my shoes and my feet were very dirty.

Owner was very nice. Room was very clean. Overall an excellent stay.

The property is a little older and could be updated - just see the other reviews. The ottoman was stained, the fridge smelled strongly of cheese, etc. but the important stuff was fine, and the price was appropriate. What REALLY needs to be updated, though, is there is no gym. I asked about the fitness room at check-in and the clerk looked at me like I was asking when the moon men were coming out to dance. Overall it is fine if you want a cheap place to sleep. The location is convenient to get to the beach/restaurants and there is ample parking. The bed and bathroom were nice and clean and I think that's the most important thing.

There was a terrible odor in the room and worse in the office!! I had to go buy febreeze to spray in the room. I will not be back there. Was supposed to get breakfast with the room but did not. I probably would of not eaten since the odor was horrible down there. I know for what I paid for the room it was not worth it.

Hotel was clean but room smelled like smoke. In addition I had booked 3 rooms under 3 different names “to be paid at check in”. To my surprise when 1st son checked in my account was charged, 2nd son checked in my account charged. We all arrived at different times. I questioned clerk who told me since I made reservations I had to pay. I checked with my sons, they also had been charged as they checked in on their credit cards. Clerk clearly lied when questioned. Said charges were only “pending “ but my bank had paid those charges. I was then told to see manager in the morning & I would get my money back. my problem is clerk knew they had double charged but lied and said they had not been charged. It was my responsibility to pay. Eventually the manager next day fixed the problem. Appreciated that he was on it as soon as he came in. Hopefully my refund is as quick as they deducted it. But room was clean and bed comfortable
