Such a charming property located near many restaurants, cafes and points of interest. When you think of the French seaside, this place checks the box!

Loved our stay. The staff was so friendly, the grounds were stunning and the view was heavenly. Although a very short stay we thoroughly enjoyed it! Highly suggest room 8 in the tower

The most incredible oasis with views to die for. They have a communal lounge, afternoon tea and a house cat!

I liked how they welcomed us to their hotel when we checked in at the reception. They gave us a tour and explained what we could do at the hotel besides enjoying our room. The staff is excellent. Always helpful and smiling. It gives a home feeling, which is very lovely. Also, the central sitting area with the fireplace is fantastic. We could enjoy a cozy indoor feeling while it is storming outside. 10 for this place. Not a single bad thing to find.

The hotel is great - the decor is amazing.
Overall, a great stay - but there is no air conditioning (so either you open the windows and get attacked by mosquitoes or you bake).
The breakfast was a little disappointing if you are Gluten Free. Of the circa 6 cakes, couldn't one have been made without gluten? Although the GF bread was appreciated!

Located on a small cliff top is a beautiful fortress like hotel with good view of the valley and the sea. Stayed for a night and enjoyed massage spa and Michelin star rated restaurant dinner with my wife. Must stay place if looking to spend a romantic evening and night in western / norther France around Etretat area.

Beautiful situated in a Monet painting with a Michelin star restaurant and a nice bistro, the view to the sea is magnificent and the swimming pool is open all day.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel and the amenities offered. The employees of Le Donjon were very helpful during my stay as well.

Gorgeous property and accommodation with friendly staff.

The hotel is really nice and friendly courteous staff. The one thing to know is that it is an old building and the room that we had while spacious was not so practical as you had to duck to avoid your head hitting the roof and had to really bend down to go from room to the bath. Kind of awkward and not something you remember in the middle of the night.

the only problem that we should cary our luggage to the third floor.

This is a very nice hotel with several luxuries. We liked the peace and quiet of the neighborhood.

Gorgeous boutique hotel in an old chateau. The staff was amazing and the location incredible. The food is also excellent. We will be back.

The hotel was such a charming little place! The atmosphere just invited relaxation even though the room itself was a quirky mixture of eclectic style! Etretat did not disappoint as the village was just as charming as the hotel! ❤️

Really cozy hotel, love the style, design (both of the common areas and if the room).
The bistrot restaurant was really good too.
Staff was really friendly and efficient.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. It offers parking on-site, it has an on-site bar in the lobby and a Michelin-star restaurant. It’s a 10-minute walk to town and the cliffs. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and very clean. I could have stayed here for many days. I can’t wait to stay here again, it’s a dream.

This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful area, we were well looked after here by all the staff and I would certainly stay here again.

Very helpful staff. The stairs up to the room had one broken step which mad ended it a bit tricky to manage with luggage. Once you knew it was there it was possible to skip it.

The pics of exterior are beautiful. The staff do their best (we only interacted w the reception). Food looked excellent on the menu - we did not try it as the kitchen was closed. The interior, of our junior suite room (w sea view) was massively outdated, bubble spa in the corner tower missing the view (?) and w/o ventilation. Carpets that you question in which decade they were cleaned last time, sink in a cupboard and the same w the toilet
The place and setting is beautiful and has massive potential. Would benefit from a significant update. Etretat is fine for its “hole in the rock” for the impressionist painters. Our impression was that it is a bit of a tourist trap - then again, different people have just as different tastes. Some could find it all very charming. We did not.

Really cool hotel in separate buildings on a hillside well-managed great restaurant thought a really pleasant stay in at fantastic Village on the Normandy coast

It was a cute hotel that had an old, classic feel to it. The hotel was in a secluded area, so it was nice and quiet. The room did not have central heating so it was cold during the night.

The hotel receptionist was very friendly and she gave us a really warm welcome. Dinner in the restaurant was an excellent taster menu which was good value. The decor is quirky with VERY bold colours everywhere - a red gloss ceiling in the bedroom takes a little getting used to!

We like our room, clean, but wifi is a bit slow. And there is no mini bar-no refrigerator in the room. This is not nice in Summer.the hotel facilities are getting old. The pool bar menu for drinks is not very good, no fresh juice and snack. The location is a bit far from the restaurants area and everything. Nice old building and beautiful room design!

Beautiful setting on the hillside above Etretet. Staff was very friendly, helpful and spoke Fluent English. Old chateau with very quiet private rooms

Very friendly staff and an unusual room with bathroom down a flight of stairs and a "porthole" window into it. Very quirky! Downside was there was no-one manning the bar and when asking for a glass of wine, we were asked to review the wine list which very extensive, and extremely expensive when all we wanted was a glass of house wine. Great views of the bay and cliffs

A very pleasing surprise ending to our short trip to Normandy. We loved our room which had lovely view to the sea. The staff were all very friendly. It is a short walk into the town, yet very peaceful. I wish we could have stayed longer. Charming and tranquil.

A beautiful hotel in a beauitful surrounding area with spectacular views. The weather was great which definitely enhanced the experience but the hotel and town are perfect for a short break. It is a bit on the pricey side but worth it.

This is the second time we stayed here and have not been disappointed. The location is about a 10 minute walk down the hill into town and to the beach where Monet painted his celebrated scenes of the cliffs of Etretat. The chateau is quite old but the accommodations have been updated with designer themes. Some of the rooms have views of the Etretat arch in the distance. A swimming pool overlooking the town is open during warmer months. Overall a beautiful setting.

We arrived at Domaine St Clair to find out they were never sent any reservation information. The hostess handled the situation more than graciously, and not only honored the reservation, but upgraded us to a suite! I can say enough about how impressed we were with the way it was handled! This is not the first time this has happened with Hotels.com. The facilities are PERFECT, and far surpassed our expectations. We hope to return again, and will recommend it to all!

Beautiful hotel and location! Sumptuous describes our room in the chateau ... Silk curtains, fabric wall coverings, giant bed so comfortable and enormous bathroom! What a place!

The hotel is built on the hillside and this causes a number of unusual results. For example, our room requested on the ground floor, as we have difficulty with stairs, was the highest room and next to the car park - no noise whatsover. While this was very useful, we would not recommend this hotel to disabled or partially disabled people. However to all others we would highly recommend it.
We found the staff excellent in every way going out of their way to be courteous and pro-actively helpful.

this is a fantastic hotel / home to stay in while in Etretat, albeit somewhat pricey. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The hotel has fine dining, as well as catering to conferences/ conventions. Fantastic view of the town and the famous sea scene. Would we return here, absolutely.
