The staff was super friendly and everything was very clean. It was decorated for Fall (not scary Halloween) and the entire staff was the most friendly of any similar hotel by far!!! Would stay there again!

Enjoyed our stay! Room was very clean and looked to be recently updated. It was convenient to the wedding venue as well. Lots of shopping and restaurants in the area. Staff was very friendly.

I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. It was super clean, comfortable, lots of parking, super convenient for playing at the Waxahachie Sports Complex. It couldn't have worked out any better. Plus, 2-5 minutes WALK to Chi-fil-a, Panera, Olive Garden TARGET, and Panda Express. They all literally share a parking lot with the hotel.

Extremely friendly staff, clean room, ample parking. No complaints except our tv kept saying “no signal.” Staff was gracious enough to fix it for us but we didn’t want to ask them again after we turned it off. We are on vacation and shouldn’t be in the room watching tv anyway. We would stay there again without hesitation.

Not the Ritz but it was clean and employees at the desk were very helpful. Actually thought the beds were pretty comfy.
Our room needed the tile replaced so mentioned that when checking out and sounds like it's in the works. They did not have recycle bins in the room which is sad. I would stay here again because it was clean, a great price, and about 10 mins from where we needed to be.

Front staff was helpful and friendly. Great breakfast (could use sugar free syrup options). Clean property and a great location. I would definitely stay here again if we needed a place in this area again.
Only criticisms: we had a family suite with a king and 2 queens. For a room that size, they only initially provided 2 towels and the king room had no storage for clothes or really anything in that room aside a bed, tv, and two nightstands. There was plenty of clothes storage in the 2 queen room, but we had to make sure we had what we needed from our luggage and clothes before the kids went to bed.

Loved it! Came for the 2024 total solar eclipse, and the hotel was much better than we expected! We received a free upgrade from a two-queen room to a two-bedroom (first time in my life I received such an upgrade!) and we thrilled. Breakfast was very good, and even though a few items were out of stock when we initially came down (it was very busy), they were quickly restocked.
The staff were kind and professional, and we had no issues whatsoever. Would gladly stay again!

I arrived at 2pm and was told to come back at 3 to check in. I left and returned at 3. I saw several people unloading their cars to go in. When I returned I was told still no rooms, but they would call when it was ready. No phone call. I understand that check in was at 4 but 2 different people lied to me. If the first guy would have just said we are busy and we won’t have your room till 4 I would have understood. Don’t say you are gonna do something when you never planned on doing it in the first place. Finally my daughter and I returned closer to 5 and our room was ready. It was clean, but the people next door were a little noisy. I don’t think I would stay there again.

Very nice handicapped accessible room which is what we needed (two beds with a roll in shower). Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean and beds were comfortable. Only issue was that the beds were rather high, and my 93 year old mother on a walker really couldn't get in them without me helping lift her in. A little bit of traffic noise, and a bit hard to get into as it is near a busy intersection. We stayed a couple of days, I actually resorted to "working my way in" via a traffic signal at a nearby Target. But I would recommend it and gladly stay here again.

Very surprised this place was a holiday inn. I’ve stayed at many hotels around the United States and this one was by far the worst IHG I’ve been to. When I first arrived in my room I noticed missing light bulbs and a strange smell. My ac unit was leaking water over the carpet and left it soaked for my whole stay also concerned maybe there could be mold due to that issue. My coworker and I also woke up one night due to the strong Oder of curry being cooked, it was going straight through my walls. My room was also only cleaned one time for the time being. The pool is very murky & breakfast is horrible. I’m not one to usually complain but this place should most definitely get looked into.

My understanding was that I had paid in full prior to my stay. I even asked at check out if I was paid up and if there were any additional charges and the gentleman said no. I just saw a charge on my credit card for $21.95 and would like to know what it was for?

Worst experience ever in my life. I had a meeting that area and it was changed in the last minute Waco Texas and they gave me no grace to cancel or rebook. Very rude and no room for negotiation. I will never use this hotel or Expedia again. But, thanks for asking. I will be disputing the charge on my credit card.
