Hotel is literally right next to Burger King, Waffle House, Country Inn Suites Hotel, Holiday Inn, Best Western Plus. Also, Baymont Inn & Suites is nearby. There’s an emergency walk in clinic: HCA Lake Jackson. Hotel is next to a major road leading to I-10. Bathroom is kind of small. There are coffee machine (never used), hair dryer, ironing board, iron, microwave, small fridge, internet with cable TV. There’s a pool. The hotel seems to be frequented by working class people. A paid wash and dryer are on site (did not use). Breakfast was basic: coffee, creme, oat meal, orange, apple juice, cereal, coffee cream, milk, bagel, banana and tangerine. Dry wall and bathroom faucet may not be in good shape. A snack, soda & chips, ice machine are also on site. Overall, the receptionist staffs were courteous and professional. The hotel owner need to do a better job with the drywall. It is worth pointing out that the hotel room will smell a little funky when first entered. It is because they leave the AC off. Once you turn the AC on and settle down, the smell will dissipate.

The management was very friendly. However, the property could have been cleaner. At this price point I guess you get what you pay for.

Didn’t like leaving a $100 deposit, then the next morning having to wait while they checked the room. Then, they gave me back 5 $20 bills instead of a $100 bill like I had given them. Will avoid Quality inns in the future!

The rooms smelled horribly, and the customer service really sucks. I wouldn't even tell my worst friend to stay there.

It was quiet and clean but smelled like marijuana.

This place is old and dingy. We had to stay here one night during college graduation weekend. Our room smelled awful, the walls were dirty, the lamp fixtures were rusty, and the shower was moldy. Do not recommend staying here.

Quiet, close to downtown, Interstate, hospital, WalMart

This property is redone and was very comfortable! Staff was friendly and there are several restaurants nearby.

Front desk experience was too-notch!! I couldn’t believe how nice they were. Wasn’t sure what to expect bc this is more of a motel and didn’t have many choices for my son’s graduation. Pleasantly surprised. Rooms were spacious and clean. Beds were also comfortable. It all worked out.

Star was friendly seemed understand and appeared to want to help customer ahead of me w issues I haven’t talked mgr about my last trip there was a first. Not so good stay some kept knocking on the wall alarm clock didn’t work to wake me and cable box was missing so I had to listen to everyone else’s tv or…. Whatever else but Call Sierras told me to speak with the manager in the morning but I woke up late so didn’t have the opportunity I will be checking in again here soon and I’ll talk to him then they should recognize me as I have been quite a bit of regular there

Smoking room did not have an ashtray

Perfect price and just what I needed to accomplish what I had planned except that even though I was in a smoking room the smoke detector kept going off

Staff was very nice and helpful. New safty lock on the door. Nice neighborhood . Perfect location . Good breakfast. Comfy beds. Nice clean room.

This is a great hotel for the area. The staff is friendly. The only issue we’ve had is the walls are thin and some guests are very loud.
