Location

I did not like that there was no movie channel to look at.

The hotel is located in a central area next to lots of options for restaurants and shopping. Our room was large and had nice amenities for the price.

I reached out to hotel and they wrte no help on the very first night i got bit up by what appears could be bed bug bite

There were stains in the shower. The elevator floor was dirty. The duvet was stained. The location was great and quiet.

The one-night stay was just what I needed.

Housekeeping staff was absolutely terrible, 1st 2 nights no bath body wash or soap in the room, bed unmade, floor not vacuumed. Notified the front desk and the service probably got worse. Bed covers just yanked up, not made, still no vacuum, in room coffee service not cleaned or replenished, towels, etc. just piled on the vanity instead of put away on the linen racks. They did finally refill the body wash bottle the 3rd night. The worst motel stay I have experienced. I have no intentions of staying at another IHG or Holiday Inn Express property!

My grandchildren wanted to go swimming but the pool was not clean. The water was merky looking... Not clear & clean

When we checked in, we had a used K-cup on our desk with coffee grounds when we first walked in. Our friends that also checked in, said when they first walked into their hotel room, they opened the lid to their toilet and it was as if someone used the restroom and never flushed the toilet.

Excellent place

First off when i walked in... front desk agent Cullen was an absolute jewel... very accommodating. Extremely knowledgeable of the hotel and all the amenities..i asked for this and that, 😆 no wasn't in his vocabulary...i had one of the best afternoons... thank you so much... the my better half surprised me by showing up... an even better night.. come check out time housekeeping only knocked the 1 time and with late check out we departed around 1230. This particular HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS AND SUITES.. is fantastic I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location.

Affordable.

Room was very clean and also smelled clean. Was glad that the room had accommodations for 6 people, so we could all be together in one room. Would stay here again. There needs to be a bigger hotel sign by the road. The one there now is very small and the dry cleaning business ( which is in front of the hotel ( has a big sign which hides the hotel sign.

Very hard to find. We missed it like three times and had to double back to it.

When we walked in the room smelled of mildew carpet and the bathroom was worse. I went to the front desk to ask for some air freshener. There were food particles on the lamp base on the TV stand and in the microwave. That night my wife cut her leg on the bed frame, not too bad, front desk gave me Band-Aids, but there was blood on the sheet. We left for the day before housekeeping got there and when we returned the room stunk again. When I pulled the sheet bad on the bed the blood stain was still there, evidently, they don't change the bedding until the next tenant comes in. Now I understand why the price was cheaper than any of the other Hotels I looked at. Because of this experience I will not stay or refer Holiday Inn Express to anyone I know, especially in Lafayette area, where my wife's family are from. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER

Some of the front desk staff should be a little more helpful and sympathetic to guest requests

The hotel stay was ok but the flat sodas out of date chips and snacks was horrible

I enjoyed my stay. The location of the facility was very good. Access to the facility was a challenge because the main road was very busy. I did express my concern about from if the old and stained furniture in my room and was assured that they are currently working to replace it. I would stay there again.

The bathtub had a dark stain and it looked very very dirty.

My room and the hallway smelled a bit mildewy. The shower head could have used a good scrubbing. But the staff was super nice.

Very disappointing stay for a Holiday Inn Express. We booked a four night stay for granddaughter’s graduation. Our room was very musty smelling. The cleaning staff were knocking on the door at 9am everyday. They were also vacuuming at 8-10am too. Our room was not cleaned twice. So we asked for clean towels and took out our own trash. The carpet was filthy, my socks were black on the bottom after one evening. There was a stain on the arm of the chair. There were only two bath towels, wash clothes and hand towels and they were worn. The breakfast was also a disappointment. Only one day did they put out cinnamon rolls and they were not the same as other HDIE. No hard boiled eggs either. The walls are thin too, we could hear the people upstairs and next to us. On a positive note, the lobby was nice and the front desk staff polite and friendly. Oh I have also been charged twice for the four night stay. It is Sunday, so maybe the charges will drop off tomorrow during banking hours. I would not stay here again. My husband and I travel often and all over the world, so we’ve seen a lot and don’t tend to be picky.
