I paid $232 for a room with a city and water view, king bed & instead got a room with 2 queen beds and no view. Didn’t get my money back either

The breakfast was awfull. Even the scrambbled eggs were terrible.

Very clean property. No daily room service was provided and every night we have back we had to go down and get towels. I just feel like if I am on vacation I can take a break from making the bed.

The pool was out of order which is why we chose this hotel. The elevator went out at least by 3am and was not repaired until 8am. Staying on the 4th floor and some on the 6th floor with a handicapped husband and a grandchild was difficult. Hotel was clean and people were nice.

A decent and clean room for a one night stay. Perfect for us as the hotel is walking distance to Lit 21. Hotel breakfast was like any other free hotel breakfast.

Our Room had zero heat- it was absolutely freezing. The room didnt even have a thermostat on the wall after the unit said "use wall unit to control" it was a crisp 30 degrees outside and our room felt 40! They changed our room around 1030 in the evening- the worker told me to come geg the keys to new room and go see if everything worked in there myself. The elevators broke early in the am and were down for a few hours, the pool is under renovations, and the noise from the train is very very loud. Kept us up all night.

Nice hotel and nice view of the river and city if you get that type of room, HOWEVER, when we first arrived they told us the room wasnt cleaned yet, assured us everything would be ready when we got back that night. When we returned, they told us they hadn't assigned us a room, therefore couldnt find the 2 queen beds room i booked. Sent us to a different room, housekeeping hadnt touched it ! Dirty. Late at nite,Long story short, we had to take a king 1 bed room with 3 people. When we pulled the couch out it hadnt been cleaned. Sounds like managent needs to make a few changes.

Our stay was excellent When we arrived, we found out the pool was closed so i had said i booked this room in october and the pool was open when i booked it for my 9 year old son because he wanted to swim so the gentleman at the counter comped my parking for the inconvenience. I was very pleased and thankful

The room #409 next to our room #411 had many teenage guests (at least 8 prolole) that were very disruptive, roudy, loud music screaming between 11pm till 6am also into the corridor. We called reception for the complaint and they sent the security at least 3 times and did nothing about it. Also they set the fire alarm. Our family did not sleep all night. It was a nightmare of a stay. Your personelle that night basically had no authority.

My stay was very mixed. The Manager and morning reception were excellent. And they were responsive to helping with what had gone wrong the night before. For the fist time in all of my hotel stays, I was given a key to a room that was already occupied and walked in on a very surprised guest. When I brought this to the attention of the person who gave me the key, she seemed more concerned with her cell phone than with making things right. But, it ended well thanks to the manager.

The stay was fine, room was comfortable, but check your receipt at the end of the stay to make sure they don’t charge you for parking when you didn’t bring a car.

Not good. Did not get the room I booked and no offer for inconvenience via at least no surcharge for parking. Breakfast would have been better if there was cream cheese for bagels, if there was eggs and bacon or sausage but seems equipment went bad. But that didn’t explain why the hot water kept running out and why the staff were not friendly.

Hampton is everything no problems or issues. Front desk answered all my questions. My view is over looking the water in Newark that’s one of the reasons why I come it’s the view for me.

This hotel is close to red bull stadium. They do not have shuttles but you can walk, or UBER places.

Hotel room itself and lobby were clean and staff was great. Breakfast was decent. There was a huge group of people partying and smoking marijuana on our floor though and nothing was done by staff about it. We were two rooms away and the smell was infiltrating our room and people yelling and screaming at 3 am. Security should have handled this as there was one sitting in the lobby the entire evening. Anyone could tell there were hordes of partiers coming in that weren't checking in.

i didn't like the idea of being charged 30.00 a day for parking in the parking garage i also didn't understand why you had to pay if you wanted breakfast. also i am disabled and had to walk up 12 steps from the parking garage to get to the elevator the room is what i appreciated but i dont think i will be staying there again. thank you.

All in all, everything was okay. Clean and comfy. Our shower had zero shampoo in the bottle and a broken body wash bottle you could not use.
We were on a floor with large groups. Children running the halls and just loud. But they finally slept, and we have kids at home so we understand.
Breakfast was 7-10, and at 845 all yogurt was gone, eggs were all most gone but only burnt pieces left. Lots of sausage!!

So i absolutely loved this place. Tim and Ava from the front were a delight to talk to and deal with. So nice and knew lots about the areas.
Location is perfect, tons of options all around you for anything.
Parking was decent.
The water view room was great.
Breakfast was mixed for me. Eggs made me feel sick but everything else was good.
