Good accommodation for the price. Apartment needs redecorating but was clean and warm. Great location with good facilities for families. Pool is good but be warned it is cold. Sauna and steam room lovely.

The residence is located in a nice setting (although it's difficult to find and directions could be clearer, including for those with GPS since it's difficult to find the name of the street). Waking up in the morning we had a lovely view of the waterfall. Bakery delivery in the morning is great or it's a short walk to town to stores and restaurants. Convenient location to ski shuttle. Pool is small but serves the purpose with small kids. Could be better: We did not know that we needed to bring sponge, dishwashing detergent, dishwasher tablets, coffee filters. No basic staples in kitchen as in some apartments. Only one small trash bag and one roll of toilet paper (for six people) was provided. Beds are not made unless you pay for the service and you need to strip them before leaving. Our reservation said that 2-level was possible, but we were not given that chance despite extremely low occupancy.

The staff were friendly and helpful .Near the ski bus stop .Able to wait at the residence on the morning of our departure and coffee and tea were provided .We arrived at the property after reception closed and it was dark , the key and a direction map were provided but perhaps if the signs naming the apoartnent buildings were illuminated it would be helpful .

Room was ok. Good location. Services pretty bad. Reception is only open for a few hours a day. We arrived at noon at the reception was closed until 4:30 pm, so had to wait with our stuff for 4 and a half hours until it reopened.

Ski trip for 3 male friends. Apartment had a double room, kitchen / lounge with sofa bed and bunk beds in the hall. Basic kitchenette and shower room, plus balcony. The apartment is basic but is clean, comfortable and has everything you need for a ski weekend. For a week it might be too small, especially for a mixed group. No sign or mention of Wi-Fi. We checked in late and reception were fine and made arrangements for us. They were incredibly helpful, and also stored our bags so we could ski on Monday. All up recommended for those who dont want to spend £££ but want something that is still a good standard.

Really good value spacious, clean, and quiet apartment. Very helpful and friendly staff. Bus stop right outside the main entrance to the complex (bus takes you to the main gondola in Samoens in less than 5 mins), and a really good pizza takeaway nearby. This will be my first choice place to stay when we visit Samoens again (stayed in a higher rated place in Samoens before but prefer Les Fermes). Also, really good service from hotels.com. Thank you for a really enjoyable stay :-)

The rooms were very small and poorly equipped. The units were very small. 9" between the end of the bed and the wall at foot of bed. No wardrobes or drawers in 2 rooms. No oven. Co way to hang gear in drying closet.

The apartment we booked was a two bedroom that would accommodate six people. One bedroom with a double bed, the second with bunk beds and the living area had a sofa that converted to a cabin bed with a roll out from beneath. The living area was open plan with kitchenette, dining and living area. Although the apartment was a reasonable size with plenty of storage throughout, the furniture is the typical alpine interior of wood that is often found and over the course of the week was lacking comfort, especially the wooden sofa/cabin bed and dining area. We did long for some soft furnishings to sink into.As comment by others, the pillows could be better and the double bed mattress could be renewed as this sank very badly in the middle. The complex is a short walk to the centre of town, there is a great Irish bar, Coveys just 5 minutes away which serve amazing home made burgers. It is about a 10-15 minute walk to the express gondola or alternatively there is a free ski bus that picks up outside the complex and runs every 15 minutes. There is a bakery delivery every morning, orders are taken the evening before. The staff were very helpful and we thought we would miss the 8pm check in but they gave great instructions on what to do on arrival and that the keys and paperwork could be collected from a safe found at the reception door. The check out process involves an inspection and it is your responsibility to ensure the flat is cleaned. Vaccum cleaners are available.

Our stay at Le Ferme was very good and we would go back again. The accommodation was bigger than I expected and it is well equipped. The beds were very comfortable though the pillows could have been better. There is a storage locker outside for ski's and car parking. The apartment was warm and cosy with plenty of hot water. We arrived during a heavy snow storm and outside there was plenty of snow for the children to have fun in outside in the grounds. The bus stops outside the entrance to the apartments so getting to the gondola is easy. The bus gets busy so we drove up to the top where the gondola stops instead of catching the bus. Our shower wasn't working properly and someone came to fix it within a hour or so of me reporting it! We also used the indoor pool which was a bit chilly for me but my children loved it. The check out was easy. We cleaned the apartment (there is a broom and mop in the apartment to clean the floors) and it didn't take long to clean it. It was a lovely stay and we really enjoyed it.

The apartment was very warm, with clean bedding and towels provided. No kettle or toaster was available. I would recommend you take your own pillows. The ones provided are very lumpy and very uncomfortable. We have stayed here for the last two years, and would stay again due to its location and convenience to the town and the slopes with a bus which runs every 10 minutes from the hotel.
