My husband's 66th birthday celebration was just outstanding. The resort, the food, the service was really incredible. The only thing was the steaks were not really that tender in any of the restaurants, but other than that... the night entertainment, the drinks, the staff, the level of dedication of all employees was something that will make this celebration one for memories for sure.

Our concierge Thomas was amazing. He took care of everything we needed. The property was clean, and effective was friendly. Enjoyed our stay very much!

The hospitality of the staff was second to none! I highly recommend you opt to do the VIP experience if you're looking for more of an "adult" vacaction. Our personal concierge Eriol went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as great as it could be. The staff were incredible, always asking if they could get us something or help us in anyway. My wife and I were here to celebrate the 60th birthday with a friend. Everyone at Paradisus made sure she had the best birthday ever! Highly recommend going here! We will be back for sure!

The resort and staff was very nice, but we found the food average. Also, we stayed away from the beach to avoid the local solicitors who had free access the hotel guests.

We had an amazing time at the Paradisus Palma Real!! The staff was friendly and welcoming and our concierge Rosemary Dejesus managing all of our request with a smile.

The service wasn’t the best. And staff flirts a lot with the guests which I thought was very unprofessional and uncomfortable to say the least

The worst experience ever. We arrived early and waited with three young kids over an hour standing at an empty reception desk to be helped. Once helped we were told to come back at 3:00pm for check in as they were giving us an upgraded room. When we returned at 3 they made us wait for over an hour as they were trying to accommodate our rooms. When we were finally taken to our rooms our four families were split into different buildings and all received downgraded rooms (not even what we had originally paid for much less any type of upgrade). Upon complaining we were informed that they didn’t know what happened and why we were upset as those were indeed the upgraded rooms. They had to get management involved for us to be able to get our original rooms. We were also informed that there were no available reservations for any of the restaurants and advised to eat at the buffet which was served cold and lacking of any variety. Interestingly enough the hotel was completely empty during our entire stay. We were told the next day that we qualified for $100 credit for the spa but upon trying to book we were told that the credit didn’t apply because they had a special of $194 so credits weren’t applicable. We were locked out of our room for an entire day. We were later informed that all those problems would have been avoided if we would have simply offered our check in person $100 initial tip. This place was a complete scam!

The pool was amazing, the proximity to the private beach was unbeatable. Property is beautiful. Open spaces, plenty of dining options and everyone was so friendly.

The Property itself was amazing. Very palatial and elegant, Especially the lobby area and pool. The rooms on the other hand suffered from poor craftmanship and repair work. Poorly painted walls, doors and door frames, in the hallways and rooms was not on par with the beauty and elegance of the lobby and welcome area. Also, the hot water was not working in my room, and I was forced to take cold showers which I absolutely hate. Other than that, my stay at Paradisus Palma Real was amazing and I would highly recommend this resort to anyone considering visiting Punta Cana anytime in the future.

The refrigerator, the safety box, did not work at all. Coffe is always served room temperature, not hot as is supposed to. Buffet food was never hot enough so safety reason. Cocktail/ drinks poorly made. They need better Bartenders and quality drinks.

Amazing property with incredible beach!! Older but they keep it very clean!! Closer to the beach than the other Melia properties. They did try to sell us on a timeshare but once we said no they left us alone. Child care was amazing !!

The views were beautiful and that's just the lobby!! Smelled amazing everyday! All staff were so nice and always willing to help with a smile... LOVE IT!!!

The resort is amazing !!! From the moment I step in to the moment I left the service was amazing . Jose G Was assigned to help me with anything I needed . He helped coordinate my aunt birthday and made several reservation for me and my family. He answered every text/call in a timely manner although I didn’t expect him to as I’m sure he was very busy. He made this trip run very smooth . He is incredible. Also the server in the buffet Juan and Jeison were incredible , very attentive and had great attitude.. the experience was 10/10.

I have been to this property 2 times before and it was excellent but this time it was very average to poor service and here's why: 1. I had asked for wheel chair in advance of check-in, they assured me they will have one ready but upon checkin there was nothing, waited 30 min and had to ask guest service multiple times to finally get one 2. Personal concierge was nowhere to be found - asked reception & guest service many times but he did not show up, luckily i had whatsapp number of my previous years concierge who was able to find him next day 3. Personal concierge did not give me any information about room service menu or any info 4. Next day when he finally contacted i reminded him to book reservation in resturant for the two nights we had left because one was already gone eating in buffet: he only did reservation for 1 night and forgot to do other. Next day i remind him again but no avail he said everything is booked and only Flora left. 5. Food was terrible at Flora so ended up eating in buffet and room service Melia group need to re-train their personal concierge. I dont think i will return to this Hotel chain again due to poor service by personal concierge

My room was amazing more than i expected The staff very polite. Everything was clean. The food delicios. 😋 One thing they should have more activities at night. I recommend this resort 👌 👍

The bar and pool are already deteriorated. I noticed that many of the workers at the restaurants aren't adhering to the rules regarding hygiene and health standards.
