The hotel itself was fine, but I arrived late at night and it wasn’t possible to use the car park for some reason. The night manager suggested a car park behind the hotel but the barrier refused to lift saying it was full despite lots of available spaces. In the end I had to park in a public car park which is what I was trying to avoid especially since this isn’t the nicest part of town.

Inconvenient municipal parking, not controlled by the hotel and not accesible when we arrived. Hotel doors near parking lot were locked in the evening, requiring long walk around building in a sketchy-looking neigbourhood with many loiterers. Hotel room was just average, not on a par with other Holiday Inn Express properties where we have stayed. To their credit, breakfast was very good indeed - good choice, excellent baked goods, fresh fruit, yoghurt, meats, scrambled eggs, etc. Decent coffee, with espresso style and filter style both available.

Just a stop over on the way to the ferry, but a good quality HIEx with an excellent breakfast and a good price, and pleasant staff. Warning for car park users. The height restriction is given as 2.5m, but there are huge sections that are 2.05m, so be careful.

Good location ,car parking expensive. Breakfasts ok ( take your own T bags ) Limited food for dinner at the bar.

Nice area, easy to walk around town, convenient - close to the rail station.

Great location near to the train station so was easy to locate. Staff were very friendly and helpful with any queries which arose. Rooms were clean and tidy, shower decent. Wasn’t a huge amount of noise which was a positive. Breakfast had a decent mix of drinks, fruit, cereals, cold meats which helped start the day.

Very good just needs some me parking

One of the best beds we have slept in in Europe thus far. We visited Vimy ridge and then found this hotel for the night. We enjoyed a lovely walk through the town of Arass and had fun trying to order our dinner in French at a little restaurant on the local square. The beautiful town square was a great bonus. The room was great - good bed, good pillows and excellent shower. The hotel was well maintained and the service from the front desk staff was excellent.

Super clean and the staff are very friendly and efficient. The breakfast lady was superb and helpful. Good location.

Great location, immediately adjacent to rail, very close to old town area which is most interesting . Hotel staff, Fanny and Steeven were welcoming and most helpful.. Room clean, nicely done snd comfortable. Breakfast really good. Would recommend absolutely

We booked a family room (double and sofa bed). The sofa bed was very uncomfortable (even for the smaller/lighter kids). The room was too hot and the air con did not cool it down. On the plus side, the bathroom was good with a nice shower and breakfast was excellent.

This hotel surprised me. Nice updated room that was clean. Great breakfast! Easy to park and tight across from train station. Would definitely stay again. Nice staff too!

A 3 night stay here. Staff were so friendly and helpful throughout. The room was spacious and well set out. The hotel is 5 minutes from town centre where the eating and drinking options are numerous. Booking in and checking out was a very smooth process and having underground parking access was a bonus as we stayed during a heavy snow period. Lovely hotel, lovely staff.

We thought the hotel was everything we wanted for our overnight stay. Dog friendly, carpeted rooms, with all necessary facilities, excellent breakfast and friendly efficient staff.

Excellent value for money. Efficient, friendly and cheerful staff. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Very good breakfast included - good choice of food and drinks including hot dishes. Convenient parking with direct lift access to the hotel reception. 5 minutes walk to the main squares/town centre. Although the hotel is opposite the station there is very good soundproofing so we could hardly hear the trains.

Great place to stop en route to the Alps . Room was for four of us and was huge and comfortable . Location very good and easy to find. The car park is a huge underground parking so loads of space( and secure). Breakfast was good - especially for those with an onward journey. Staff very helpful and the bar and restaurant opened late so even if you arrive late - you can still grab something. Definitely recommend

Very pleasant and helpful staff on reception. Room (suite with balcony) was very clean and surprisingly good size for the 4 of us plus a dog and we thought it very good value. Balcony had several very large planters with very dead plants - maybe best to remove the planters completely if they’re not going to be looked after! Dogs not allowed in the breakfast restaurant - would have been useful to know this before we booked as hotel is described as pet friendly. NB Le Mercure next door allows well behaved dogs in the restaurant. The area around the station is certainly not the best in Arras, but the room was quiet, the parking very convenient and overall the hotel is good value for money.

Ideally close to the station and within walking distance of many of the sites in Arras, the hotel is clean and the staff friendly knowledgeable and helpful.

They had A/C in the hotel after I had to be switched from another hotel with no fan and no AC! Great customer service at the holiday inn plus the breakfeast was good! Walk to the train station!
