During check-in, it turned out that the employee was not able to correctly add up the amount due. I had to explain and show him twice where he made the mistake. Then it turned out that he couldn't scan my document. All of this delayed the process.
During my stay, when I wanted to use the restaurant, it turned out to be impossible. At the reception, I was given different opening hours than those that were actually in effect. When I went to purchase a meal, I was told that it was already closed. This happened twice.
It wasn't the worst experience, but there is still a very far away to be good it.

Very dirty, the light switch was covered with blood splashes, hairs all over the bed, dirty toilette, dirty shower, at least the A/C did work fine, but 20€ caution for the remote

My experience was amazing! I was apprehensive as it was my first ever solo trip abroad and my spanish is a medium level.
The woman who checked me in spoke fluent Spanish, German, English and and was an absolute delight, making me feel so welcomed and at ease 😊.
The beds were super comfortable, with what felt like new mattresses and pillows! Rooms were spotless and the wonderful attentive housekeeper was very courteous in asking if I would like my room cleaned which I politely declined for the whole of my stay.
I was surprised by a free breakfast everyday which consisted of a continental selection of meats, cereals etc but as a vegan I was able to have the fresh bread, beans and wide selection of succulent fresh fruit and jams. Coffee, instant and filter, teas, cocoa and other hot drinks were available and the choice of 4 different fruit juices in addition to cold water.
The pool area was wonderful with a sizeable pool and a tidy lounging area, which I spent many hours at!
If you like house plants, you can also wonder the floors of the hotel looking at the different plants dotted around also some fabulous mosaic decor.
To get to the airport at 4:30am, the gentleman on the reception kindly called me a local taxi firm in which I was there in 7mimutes and at a price of €26. Would HIGHLY recommend not using a pre-booked taxi transfer if you are staying here as it would not be worth the extra €€.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, solo, or a group :D

The hotel met our expectations as a typical Spanish hotel .
The guests were mostly Spanish and not all the staff speak English but this did not cause any problems for us,as they were friendly.
The hotel was very clean throughout.
The rooms are not well soundproofed and chatting can be heard from all sides along with noise from above.
The rooms facing the pool get the sun until late in the evenings.
We stayed half board and found the food plentiful and tasty. There was always a variety of cooked food in the evenings along with salads. The choices are not huge however there is was always a selection.
During our stay there were groups of holiday makers who dined at the same time so sometimes the food was selected quickly but it was always replenished.
There is no entertainment in the hotel and the bar area was cold and not used, which was a pity as it would have been nice to sit even with background music.
The pool and jacuzzi were clean but icy cold!
The location is good with a choice of walking along the promenade or walking the coastal path.

We just had the best holiday here! We are English and I travelled alone with a 1 & 9 year old. The hotel was great, the staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble they went out their way to be kind and helpful and lovely to the children. Room cleaned daily beds changed clean towels, lovely quiet hotel plenty of space and all covid compliant and clean. Highly recommend and we would most definately stay here again! Thank you for such a great holiday xx

Location: Good, but hotel priced too high all things considered.
Check in: City taxes are paid at check in, AND THEY ONLY ACCEPT CASH!!! This should be mentioned at booking! The hotel was honest that they accept cash to save on the card fees.
Room: We stayed for 6 nights. 3rd night, the air-conditioned spat out ice. Splatter reached the bed. The unit had dust inside. Bed became highly smudged with dirt & grime. This isn’t the problem. It happens. The problem was that the sheets were not changed in the morning of service. I asked and was told that they only change beddings every two days. At least, they’re honest. Guess what? THEY NEVER CHANGED THE BEDSHEET AT ALL. Right up to check out, the soiled, smudged bed sheet was still there! 6 NIGHTS! THEY DON’T CHANGE BEDSHEETS HERE! Maybe a price this high means you are provided new bedding every day? No. Hotel need to SAVE!
Bath: Toiletries are just BOTTLES of branded bodywash. They are not using the ACTUAL branded bodywash. They refill these bottles with a jug that the cleaners bring to the rooms. This is tacky but this is not the problem. (You can what’s coming next.) None of these refilled bottles were full when I checked in. I ran out on night 4. I informed the desk. Guess what? THEY NEVER REFILLED IT!
Breakfast: Passable, but doesn’t match the rate you paid.
You’re looking for a hotel. You’ve seen the prices. They aren’t cheap. You won’t get your money’s worth here. Stay away.

Stayed here for a few days with my mate for our yearly photography trip to the island. Quiet in february as expected. Hotel reception and downstairs were nice, staff are great, friendly, food was good, but.....Both rooms were of a bad standard of build, and painting. Areas looked unfinished, or rushed. Rooms were clean but just poorly kept. Both rooms had shower issues. no Locks on sliding doors to bathrooms if you like your privacy. Air con units too big for the rooms. Felt my room was made from a redundant storeroom as it was so narrow. No balcony access as no rails on balcony, so door was locked permanently, so no chance of fresh air or towel drying. Biggest issue for me that both rooms smelled of damp plaster. I have asthmas so not ideal. Hotel would not pass inspection if in the UK.

Started off with trying to find the hotel was tough after my flight. On arrival the neighnours could clearly be heard until the early hours as the sound proofing is very poor as well as hearing the lift through the walls as it welcomed every floor. The air conditioning did not work and the bed is rock hard.

Very pleased with the value for money that I got.

No blanket for bed. No hotel parking and minimal parking anywhere near by. Had to pay an extra fee for weak wifi.

Nt to bad. Room is very clean. But ok for this price. Food is good. Cheap hotel for budget traveler.

We were two weeks in May. No noise in the evening/at night. Breakfast(free) and dinner-buffet (10 eur)were excellent. Negative: travel by bus to the city typically lasted 40-50 minutes.

Great trip and good accommodation with staff that catered to our needs. Very helpful and knowledgeable about local area in which some useful advise were tendered. Room was clean everyday with towel change. Breakfast offered a huge choice and was always lively with staffs who tendered to our needs.

Room given overlooking run down apartment block balcony was small and filthy.this is not the first time we have had the poorer rooms in a hotel when booking with expedia.

The hotel is in a good location but that's about it. It would have been nice to have known about the extra charges such as the "environment tax" and I don't think the hotel was completely honest when it came to its wifi policy. Their website indicates that the wifi is only an extra charge for using in your room and not the rest of the hotel, however when I mentioned this after being told about the wifi charges the receptionist simply shrugged her shoulders and said this is the case for all hotels in Majorca (which didn't seem that relevant to me). What was funniest was that the hotel wifi appeared to block their own website so guests couldn't confirm this. One more thing with the room is that it would have been nice to have a double bed instead of two singles bed that were not particularly stable, I fell down the middle of the beds a few times. Overall we stayed in the hotel for a good price but at times I felt like we were being taken a bit for granted. It's a beautiful island but I'm undecided if I would return.

The hotel was clean, airy and staff were obliging. The restaurant was clean and offered a wide range of food so that even the fussiest of eaters would be able to find something suitable to eat, including fresh fruit and salad with every meal. The range of food served at breakfast also included cooked bacon and eggs as well as cereals, toast, cold meats and cheese, yoghurts, fresh fruit and pastries. The pool area was clean. Overall good value. Nice place to stay.

Nice, clean hotel, convenient for everything. However, hotel next door v. noisy and all hotels are in top of each other

The hotel is quite far to walk for airport bus 21. The room was nice and staff at reception very helpful . But if you would like to go to the beach or to the bus it requires some walking. It is not great if you have a small child with you or heavy bags.

We had a pleasant stay in Arenal, although during our week on Majorca we found much nicer parts of the island nearby such as Pastilla and Soller. We thought it would be fairly quiet in September but Arenal is still pretty lively at that time of year, with most of the other holidaymakers either German or Russian. The hotel was well situated and surrounded by numerous bars and restaurants although most of them seemed to have pretty much the same items on their menus. The hotel was comfortable although, unlike us, it's definitely worth paying the extra for a room with forest view, otherwise you're overlooking a pretty grotty hotel next door. The pool area was quiet and relaxing and bar prices surprisingly cheap. The evening buffet meals in the hotel were good value at 10 euros each (including a drink), although the mixture of dishes on offer were a bit bizarre. Overall, an enjoyable week but would stay somewhere different to Arenal if we visit Majorca again.

The only problem I had was a guy at reception who said 'no' to any request I made (I think he was Romanian). All these were however addressed by the manager who managed to sort all my problems and was very pleasant and welcoming.

I did. Stayed Last year and of the five I tried, came back here. Price was right as few guests. Businessmen, families. couples, travellers. No stags or hens. Hooray, but maybe later in the season. Half Board this time and well worth it. Lots of fresh fruit and honey to make up for the Spanish jam. (Thinks; That is why the Spanish don't need nice jam) Yes the Manaus is a bit faded, but pleasant clean and very helpful staff.

Quite a smart hotel for the price.Easy walking distance to Aqualand (I think that is what its called) or Arenal Marina. Pleasant room with bath/shower and safe(small charge per day). One side of hotel overlooks woodland;wake up to the sound of twittering birds. The other side backs onto 3 other hotels; wake up to school parties arriving at 3 am. Full English with a chef to fry your eggs just how you like them.Plus all the continental stuff. Didnt try dinner but it smelled wonderful.Limited choice though. Very nice stay.If you need anything, just ask.

we checked in to the hotel late at night, at about midnight. The guy at the reception did not speak english, so didnt explain to us anything, asked us for passports, looked at them ( we had Lithuanian passports) kept shaking his head and saying impossible, we started to get worried thinking whats wrong with our passports??checked in to our room, it was tiny. I payed for three adults, they gave us just a standard double room with two beds and made a bed out of little sofa bed they had there, which wasnt a proper bed! There was no room to move around in the room at all!We looked out of the balcony-terrace and the view was horrible! Looked just like slums! So we thought we will ask to change rooms in the morning. Next morning the guy at the reception told us that there is nothing available today, but tomorrow. So ok, the Next morning there is a different person at the reception, told us that there is no rooms available, that we have to wait until tomorrow, so every day different reception staff was telling us tomorrow. So we stayed at this hotel in a small room with the worst view without experiencing the full potential of the hotel. Now good things:the dinner was very good every night.pool area even it was small, it was nicely kept, we had a great time sunbathing and swimming.Hotel in total is not too bad if you stay in the room with the pool view, not first floor other side of the hotel room 108 slums view.

the hotel itself was great, clean bathroom in the room, nice terrace, in quiet area of Arenal. the bus stop to Palma just around the corner, 10 min to the beach. They have greatest dinner varieties of local food. we were enjoying the dinner and never had to eat outside. but breakfast was finished sharply at an hour and they took away all food and switch off caffee machine so actually we felt as they "kick us out" from the dinning room.

The hotel location is great! Still very close from the beach but away from main clubs, bars streets, so very quiet. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
The room is very standard but cosy. The mattress could be replaced by new one and the shower curtain could be replaced by a plastic one - the ccurrent curtain material takes long to dry so the bathroom had always a smell of dump.
The room was of good size and cleaners came by everyday; the bed sheets were not new but were clean.
It had a ceiling fan and air-conditioning.
The pool is small but does its job. I had breakfast and dinner included. It wasn't excellent but it wasn't awful either.
Overall, Hotel Manaus is a friendly place and I would definitely recommend it, specially for people that are looking to relax and spend the day out at the beach.

We left this hotel after 2 days, I lost 800 pounds & booked into another hotel instead. The food was terrible, left on the hot plates for god knows how long with no service in the resturant. A very German hotel which is fine but no English speaking staff makes it hard to get a drink. Pointing helped. They didnt even ask us why we were checking out, obviously get it a lot. The resort is a bit scarey too.

Imagine 1977 and you'll love this hotel. Food is absolutely Eastern Europe standard. So if You find great pleasure in pasta, carrots and sweet corn wrapped in mayonnaise, this is defenately the place to eat!!
Rooms are very small, and you'll be charged extra for using safe-deposit and fridge in your room!
Will not recommend this hotel to anyone, unless all other hotels are sold out!

Hotel was nice and fairly quiet. Clientelle were mainly Germans. Hotel was out of the way from clubs/pubs, but close enough to wander to the main areas. Food at the hotel is varied and of an OK quality, not fantastic, but as good as you would expect for price we paid. The beach in El Arenal is packed, again majority of people were german, but if you went to the left there were secluded rocky coves where you could chill out in privacy. Weather was fantastic. All in all a great holiday, and if returning to El Arenal would definately stay there again.

We were disappointed with the hotel after reading some good reviews. The room was a bit tatty - in need of refurbishment, the shower worked but looked like it was coming off the wall. The area was very noisy with large groups of teenagers who were intent on singing and chanting when they arrived back in the early hours. Of course if your looking for somewhere like that - you're not so bothered about sleeping and you are happy if you can just get a shower then perhaps you'll like it.

I 've just been to Manaus Hotel during my stay in Mallorca and i really loved it.The members of staff were very helpful, always giving useful information and tips to go around Mallorca. The buffet was also great and the hotel very clean. The location is superb, just fifteen minutes away from the airport and ten minutes walk from the nearest beach.Undoubtedly ,a pleasant place to stay. I would strongly recommend the Hotel Manaus for those who are looking for " a place in the sun" this summer.
