Great location perfect for a weekend break. Room was prrfect had a super view of the christmas lights on the bridge. Loved the restaurant next door

They were very accommodating and I contacted them prior to ask for a parking space . They only have 6 spaces so it is very small car park and very tight but worth it if you are there for a few days. Staff firendly, we didn't have breakfast so can't rate that. Room was clean and we were at the front where we thought it would be noisy but it was not as double glazing. Modern and clean and would stay again.

This hotel is downtown and walking distance to restaurants and bars. Rooms are small but fine.

It was a nice hotel in a good location but a few times the nternet dropped out or went very slow.

The car parking is just a few limited spaces that I never found the entrance to and needed to be booked in advance. After a 12 hour drive that was disappointing

We were given one of the smallest rooms in the Hotel, there was only a small amount of hanging space for clothes so all other clothes had to be left in the case on the floor and that was in short supply, there is very little car parking at the hotel so that is a big problem as parking on the road is charged for.

Room too small to be in for 4 days when not paying a budget price but serviced well and reasonably well equipped. Laval is nice but too quiet for me and opening / food service times of cafes and bars was restrictive although we did get used to it.

Breakfast was utilitarian. Hot drinks were not good. The ambiance of the room was poor. No linen, no cutlery on the table and chairs so heavy you had to be strong to move them. It was an expensive meal for what was on offer. Even though I had paid for a better room it was still small. The bathroom had been refurbished to a good standard. However, a small person would have difficulty getting in or out of the bath!

This is a week run hotel in a good location. The members of staff were helpful, and the room was pleasant. In our view, the bed could have been more comfortable. Breakfast was good.

Hotel has restaurant next to it and is situated very near to main town, just a short walk across river. Busy brasserie near by but not noisy. Hairdressers down road to left of hotel. Going from the right of the hotel the LAVAL main railway station is about a 15 minute walk away or there are taxis and buses that run there. The hotel does breakfast but is rather expensive for the amount of food offered Pleasant staff and always helpful but not many speak that much English, good practice for any would-be French speakers. Launderette up main road to the right, although hotel does do laundry service. I found the hotel to be extremely central and probably the best situated for restaurants, small eating places and atmosphere with good bus services opposite and plenty of car parking around the area. There is a cinema across the river and for English visitors, the newsagents on the main road opposite the tourist office, sells some English papers, but be quick because they are snapped up! Also bookshop M'Lire on way to river and town sells English books, but you have to go downstairs to find them.

The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The general atmosphere was very welcoming and everywhere was tidy and clean. The location was excellent. There was a good variety of food available for breakfast which was very well presented and a reasonable price. We would have preferred better quality cups in the bedroom rather than the plastic ones which were provided and a few more complimentary biscuits would have been nice too. We would book this hotel again.

My only problem with this hotel was that, after driving for 8 hours, I was not please to have to wait 2 hours for the hotel to open!!! I arrived on Sunday at approx 15:30 and then had to wait around until 17:30 until the reception opened. Even when the receptionist arrived at 17:00 the doors were not opened to let me in.
