The shower drain needs cleaning. When taking a shower, it smelled liked sewage. The bottom of the tiles and door need to be cleaned. Actually, the whole bath room needs attention. The one night it seemed as if a medicinal smell filled the room for a couple hours. The woman that worked the breakfast area was outstanding! She kept everything stocked, cleaned tables, ran the dishwasher and assisted with any requests.

I have been wanting to come back to Lancaster and stay at the Lancaster Arts Hotel. My only regret was we did not dine in the restaurant which I hear is very good. Next time!!

Unique and wonderful place to stay.

I stayed for one night at the Lancaster Arts Hotel on my way to holiday in West Virginia from New York. I was attracted to the tasteful decor in the deluxe room I selected and to the bar and breakfast offered on site. I arrived in a downpour of rain and was glad to part in a covered lot, but less glad to then have to walk a distance long enough to get drenched by the rain. That said, I was eager to get to my room and I was given a room on the second floor of what looks like the newest part of the hotel over the parking garage. This room looked nothing like the room in the picture: no exposed brick, no hardwood floors, furnishings below expectations. The receptionist granted my request to move rooms and placed me in a room on the fourth floor by the elevator. This room did have exposed brick, but still had wall-to-wall carpeting that made the room look like a highway hotel chain. The furnishings were odd, as was the lighting. The bar had a good selection, though the bartender was distracted by conversation and was not attentive. The breakfast was very poor. I am always especially disappointed when a hotel located in or near agriculture supplies a breakfast with cellophane-wrapped apples and other Sysco-looking options. I had coffee and a snack at the cafe nearby, which was good. I chose this hotel as an alternative to cheaper options by the interstate and did not find that this hotel was worth the added cost. I would not recommend it.

The blanket on the bed had a spot of blood on it. I called and they fixed the problem immediately. Also one of the pillows had a tiny tear in it.

The Lancaster Arts Hotel was wonderful. My Fiancee and I stayed for one night and we wish we could have stayed longer. The room was very cozy and in very good condition. Staff was so nice and did a great job with keeping everything clean. Would stay here anytime I’m in the area!

Cool artsy hotel, loved the vibe. A mile from the convention center, easy drive. Make sure you park in their parking lot, I pulled in too soon and had to turn around, no biggy. Loved the covered parking area. They have luggage carts easily available, I didn't see bell hops. Staff is super helpful and kind. Breakfast is self serve and loved the pancake machine, awesome! The bed was firm, I prefer a softer one but the pillows were super fluffy! Lots of TV Channels too. The toiletries smell like orange, it's so lovely. They do use wall dispensers, make sure you check what comes out. Mine were mixed up, they accidentally put the wrong products in the dispensers. so ended up using hand soap instead of conditioner, oops, no one is perfect. Overall great stay!

I really like the hotel! It was clean, love the restaurant. All the staff was super attentive and nice. The plus for me was that at night I got a Rose 🌹 and chocolate which was a great unexpected touch from the hotel.

This hotel went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. From an upgraded room to the incredibly helpful staff, we really appreciated the attention to detail this hotel offers. Having laundry onsite would have been helpful and having a way to buy bottled water, soda, or other toiletries would have also been really nice. Otherwise, the hotel was beautifully decorated, comfortable, spacious, and clean. Highly recommend!

I love the uniqueness of this hotel. Lancaster is a really nice city. The architecture is beautiful and quaint. We had a beautiful stay at Lancaster Arts Hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. A beautifully, clean and artistic room.

Very cool hotel in a restored warehouse building near F&M. Lots of exposed brick and modern features. Breakfast included and there is a bar as well. A great value as well, half the price of the hotels around the convention center and it is only a mile away.

We had a fun and wonderful time. Check in was easy and quick. Our room was perfect. Nice size for two. Bed was great. Bathroom was nice. The art in the hotel is a prefect touch. Parking was free and easy. Location was great. There is a restaurant, but we only did dessert and coffee take out one day. Everyone was very nice. Breakfast was good. Would go stay there again.

The trip to this very gorgeous hotel was to bring my mom who had NEVER been before to experience what I did last year when I visited. From the moment we arrived on July 4th she was surprised by the location, design of the hotel and all the Incredible features it had including the various pieces of GORGEOUS artwork, parking garage and restaurant. Our room was nice, clean and very comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly, accommodating, courteous and professional. Sunil (Host for breakfast) was very polite, helpful and welcoming. The staff at J.J. Jeffries restaurant was “Phenomenal” and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel and the restaurant attached to it. They did not disappoint and I HIGHLY recommend this Hotel, Staff & Restaurant!!!
