Staff very polite! Basic but value for money

Awful rooms, beds very uncomfortable, ver poor facilities and shower was terrible

A very nice place to stay. Very convenient for work purposes. It is a little dated and needs money spent on it to modernise it but it is clean and tidy. The staff are always friendly.

Convenient and reasonably priced for what we needed. Power outlet alongside the bed would be handy !

the staff were very pleasant but the property needed maintenance. The curtain rail fell off the wall so we had to sleep with no blackout curtains, there was mould and cracked tiles in the en-suite. The TV was very pixelated and even went off for short periods, no doubt due to bad reception. We will not be staying again.

Beautiful view from the bedroom window . Bathroom extremely small and shower head poor.

Very budget basic hotel. Taps and shower very noisy bed was lumpy cracks in walls landing had strong cigarette smoke smell cracks in walls telly didn’t work and they couldn’t fix it and breakfast was only toast or cereal Good points- staff was helpful putting on big telly in games room & location was good

Mouldy shower. No wifi in room, only available near reception. Cobwebs on ceiling in bedroom. Overall not a good experience.

Even though the place is slightly dated it was very clean . And the staff are all very nice and helpful. And most of all to see the deers and hares running in the fields.

Cheap room but very shabby

The quality of accommodation was adequate and for price was good value. Hotel car parking was excellent and in general terms the hotel facilities were okay. The reception staff were really helpful and friendly. For me the main downside was the shower cubicle which lacked cleanliness evident due to a plentiful supply of black mould also the water pressure was too low for a refreshing shower that said the Hotel was okay and good value for money.

Friendly and helpful girl on front desk helped us carry luggage upstairs and was really lovely in general

Room was comfortable, though would have liked a second chair. Nice and peaceful. Clean and easy to park.There was a Indian restaurant in walking distance and a lovely chinese a short drive away. A short but pleasant stay.

Not enough water pressure, so bad experience for bathing. The water from the tap use to boiling for drink taste strange😑

Such a lovely welcome.. quiet and clean. Lovely friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Free breakfast of toast, croissants , and wide selection of cereal was lovely and just enough to start the day. The only thing for us was the bed was a bit hard but that’s personal choice. We will definitely stay again.

Very pleasent site in countryside so no road traffic noise. Seriously comfy bed and desk with chair which is always helpfull. Spacious room too. Bonus of bar onsite and excellent curry house 100m away. Very reasonable rates here too.

Friends and were participating in the nearby Pathfinder March at RAF Wyton. We were going to be walking around 46 miles (no I didnt forget to put a decimal point in there - and YES i do mean MILES not km) We were traveling from London and Wiltshire and were due to register at 0300, to start walking at 0400 - so we wanted somewhere cheap to stay nearby the night before - and somewhere to flake out afterwards. At less than half the cost of a "big name" discount hotel, we were amazed at what incredible value this hotel gave. The rooms were spotless - bar a bit of stained silicon in the bathrooms - but impeccable in every other way. Firm, comfortable beds, with lovely bedding and plenty of pillows to choose from. Only gripe - the tv in the room didn't work and the in house complimentary wifi was pretty slow - but who cares! Lovely staff and always a friendly greeting. Continental breakfasts only: choices of cereals and granola, bread for toast with jams, marmite, marmalade and a selection of long life croissants - that were actually a lot nicer than they sound, orange juice, tea & coffee... Well stocked bar at reasonable prices and a petrol station with "mini mart" on your doorstep too Will almost certainly stay here again if we're back for the 2025 Pathfinder March

There was mould in the shower and a hole was punched in the wall

I had a problem with me booking the wrong dates, they sorted it all out with no hassle. Some might say basic may be was but in my opinion all was excellent. Comfortable bed, shower, tea and coffee and a continental breakfast in the morning.

I arrived at 10.40pm. On entering the reception and giving my name I was told "You already checked in!" In quite a rude tone. Turned out she had seen someone else coming in with a dog and assumed it was me and gave them my room. She told me to wait until 11pm until someone else comes in to sort this which was a bit of shock. I had spent hours on the road and I st wanted to get to bed. While I waited, I returned to my car to get some water for my dog. Being flustered I left the car key in the boot with all the doors locked. I felt panic and went back to reception. As I entered, receptionist snapped that it wasn't 11pm yet! I said I locked my keys in the car and if she could help me please to get a number for a locksmith. She coldly replied that she didn't have a locksmith there and that she cannot help. I went outside as I felt panic attack coming on. When I went back in crying she asked me if I was ok. I said if course not as she wasn't being very helpful to which she snapped back again repeating what I said pretending to be surprised. The following morning I checked out just before 11am and waited outside for help to arrive. Around 11.30am I needed to use bathroom. I entered hotel where I was informed I cannot use bathroom if I don't have a room. I'm not too bothered by the state of the hotel, the dirty sink or poor breakfast. The lack of humanity I experienced was appalling.

Excellent value for money

Overall a comfortable, friendly and quiet spot for the night. Beds were comfortable, we didn't stay for breakfast so can't comment yes bathroom is dated but for the price there is no real reason to complain. The place is spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet and the staff are fantastic. I would default definitely recommend and stay again.
