Staff members were so nice and facility was clean . Felt safe and comfortable!

Room was humid and musty, bathroom door would not close because it wasn’t hung right. Sink wouldn’t drain.

This hotel is very newly remodeled, up-to-date and well kept. The pool is nice, not too big not too crowded. And the room was amazing. Good shower and bathroom, very nice bed and new couch with a sitting area in the executive room.

We had a quick overnight stay. Checked in late, but was greeted by very friendly staff. Our room was extremely clean and spacious. The hotel was close to all the restaurants and Tarleton State University. Definitely would stay here again; great hotel for the price!

Hotel has been newly painted, at least on the third floor. Manager was on the floor to greet guest thanking them for their patience with the paint smell. I found that to be very gracious of him to be doing that. Room was excellent, very spacious, extremely clean and very comfortable. my stay was for one night for a high school graduation. My stay was wonderful except the next morning the maid is already knocking on the door, wanting to clean the room which I found crazy since I was checking out that same morning. Did not appreciate that interruption so early. Other than that I highly recommend and will stay there again. Location is perfect.

Definitely a great place to stay in Stephenville. The location is great and the hotel is in great shape. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet.

Clerk seem extremely stressed and overwhelmed. They did not have our reservation even though I received our confirmation emails. We eneded have to find another hotel late at night with kids. Also back doors were not locked for guest safety and they are aware of it and have no plans to fix it anytime soon.

I was there to be with my Mom while she was on Hospis everyone was kinda and helped me with extending my stay without moving rooms

I booked 4 rooms back on November 6, 2023 for our family and friends to stay when my daughter graduated from Tarleton State University on May 9, 2024 - six months earlier. The morning of the DAY we were packing up to go to Stephenville, Donovan from La Quinta called me and said they had inadvertently overbooked and we no longer had any rooms that night. He referred me to Best Western, which we ended up staying at, for more than twice the price because they knew it was graduation weekend and we were desperate. Our La Quinta rooms were originally $184.00 per room, per night. Best Western charged us $389.00 per room, per night. We had no choice because there was literally no other places to stay, since it was the day before college graduation. I asked Donovan how they decided which customers were the "overbooked" ones and got the boot, and he said the ones who booked through a third party, like Hotels.com. It didn't matter that I had booked these rooms 6 months ago, apparently. They offered me reward points to use next time we stay at a La Quinta, but that's NEVER going to happen. I've used Hotels.com for about 20 years now and never had a problem, but I'm going to have to seriously consider any future bookings if there's a possibility I could be left without a place to stay at the very last minute with no warning. This was a horrible and extremely stressful and expensive experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone. Please be wary of ever booking this hotel.

Got called the day before our arrival to tell us our room had been cancelled because they were overbooked. Then had to book two rooms instead and ended up paying $240 more than initially. Not a a happy person.

La Quinta called and cancelled our reservation the morning of the day we had a reservation. They stated vendors overbooked them.

The man working behind the counter on the morning of April 17, 2024 was slightly rude. Apparently he was doing something in the room behind the counter that he wanted to get back to. When the housekeeping staff cleaned the room, the drinking glasses and coffee cups were removed and not replaced.

Cody at the front desk was warm and welcoming.

Killed a big bug in my room (maybe a type of roach I had not seen before?) Also had dogs next door howling for a couple of hours. Front desk was nice and tried to get in touch with the owners who left their dogs in the room to go visit friends in a nearby town.

Clean, nice breakfast, worth the stay. Close to a number of fast food and sit down foods.

The hotel itself was fine. We were with a group and most of us experienced a lot of sleeplessness due to noise. Other guests were extremely loud most of the night. Tried to call and complain but phone didn’t work. Was a frustrating stay.

My room appeared to have been broken into before or needed to be forcibly open by staff. Door was unlocked when I first arrived into the room. The door was able to shut and lock, but took some effort to do so sometimes. Overall, cleaned and pleased for the few days I stayed for the price I paid.

The room was not cleaned from previous use when I arrived, but I was too tired to and wanted to sleep so I turned the sheets over and slept. I made sure to leave the clean please hanging from the door and I came back the next night with the do not disturb sign hanging from the door. The room uncleared and again I was way too tired for a confrontation. Terrible, would not recommend.
