The entrance was nice and clean but the rooms were not. I had to swipe my room key multiple time before I was able to get in my room. Upon entering the room I was hit with a old wet clothes smell then the bathroom smelled like sewage. Not to mention the other couple I was with had a pair of panties left in there room by the towels in a room that’s “suppose” to be clean. We asked to be moved only to be told there weren’t any rooms available. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

Checkin was fast and easy but the room smelled like mold ac made noise all night someone had left panties when they stayed before me which showed me the room wasn’t properly cleaned the sheets hadn’t been changed I went to Walmart and brought some and blood was on the wall in the bathroom hair was all over the floor and the shower was dirty they didn’t change my room because they was sold out but the manager did refund some of my money back

I had to book a room for one night while in Tampa. The service at the front desk was great. Everybody was friendly. However, when I was approaching my room, they were dehumidifiers in the hallway on the fourth floor, a smell of dampness and smell of cleaning product behind the smell. Unfortunately I didn’t have much time to switch a room. I just dealt with it. The bathroom tiles were broken and unstable and need repair. They had a decent morning breakfast that was open till 10 on Saturday, which was great.

The hotel was pretty clean with bare necessities - though I expected that for price range. It did have a good breakfast. Staff was friendly. Small pool - jacuzzi was broken. Dehumidifier outside our room - room felt "wet" due to humidity but it is Florida. Location was okay - didn't feel unsafe but wouldn't want to go out to my car alone. It is located on main roads with stores and restaurants close by. My biggest complaint is that we didn't have hot water - not freezing cold but maybe at best lukewarm. Not great for showering. Overall a decent hotel for the price.

Room was Clean, Big, and Comfy -- but as with MANY hotels in FL -- THE HOT TUB DOESN'T WORK! Even though the front desk gentleman said it does, and offered to show me -- Only ONE JET actually works (and barely). It's essentially a Glorified Bathtub. No other complaints though. Breakfast was decent too.

Very clean Hotel. Very well organized. The Breakfast was very good as they had Bagels & Cream cheese. Coffee was available every day & 24 hours. I had a Queen bed which was very comfortable. Ample Parking was available. Convenient to Downtown Tampa, as i was visiting for a conference.

I loved the overall experience and staff were very polite. The only downside is staff had to change my room twice because the showers didn't have hot water and malfunctioned.

When we arrived at the hotel, they put us in room 205. The room was very mildly smelling very strong. Went to the front desk and the lady put us up the fourth floor room 414 which was a lot better. She accommodated us right away and apologized otherwise The day was nice and the staff were very helpful

The room looks clean, but it smells awful. It smells very mildewy. We didn’t check in until close to midnight and I was hoping I was just being a little grouchy from being tired. If we had gotten here near check-in time, I would have called and asked for a different room. It’s really bad. I woke up with a headache from it. I notified the staff first thing this morning as we checked out. I did forget to mention that when I was looking around for wet carpet I found what appears to be rotten food stuffed in the air conditioner. Looked like 2 grapes or maybe blueberries. Don’t think that’s what caused the smell. It was definitely musty, wet fabric smell, likely the carpet.

Front desk lady was very nice. But Elevator was dirty. The hallway has this strange odor. Room A/C vents were very dusty. Shower has mildew. Room corners were very dusty. Never again stay in this hotel. Never recommend neither.

We love staying here. The only problem we had was the ice machine on the 3rd floor did not work had to keep going to the first floor to get ice. When we told the manager because they saw us with the ice and when we told them they said they would have it fixed but it was never fixed. Instead i was offered a cooler to keep the ice in i told them no and was told the ice machine did not work. But other then that its nice and quiet

I have had a bery bad experience with Expedia this trip. All the components were excellent inxluding Delta, Hertz? And La Quinta. I am about to leave Expedia because Expedia has no customer service to speak of. Expedia, nagging me to rate components while failing me is laughable

Directions should be noted that gps takes you into Walmart parking lot and says you’ve arrived. Can’t see hotel in parking lot. When arriving late it felt very unsafe. No signs in the parking lot to direct behind Walmart, on a dark road, behind storage units before you can even see the hotel.

We stayed here for just one night having landed late into Tampa airport. It offered good vfm and a decent overnight stop within easy reach of the airport. The room was only small, with not much space to open up several cases, but offered us a comfortable bed and decent breakfast offering in the morning. On a downside the AC was noisy (but this did not affect our quality or sleep due to jet lag!) and the shower was cold in the morning. I would recommend for a short stay over.

Celebration for moms birthday turned horrible because our sleeping quarters were filthy from the carpet to the rusty tubs. The toilets and seating were broken. My baby and pretty got sick from the carpet and the door options were extremely limited. Upon trying to rectify, the staff claims to not understand you. They don't speak English.

The pace is not bad, it just needs some renovations in the rooms. Pillows are horrible, room is kind of old and the shower was draininh water all night long. But it was a nice stay though, and the room was clean. The bed sheet need to be replaced, as you could tell they've been watched over and over. They looked yellowish.

The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and the gym was adequate. We would have liked healthier breakfast options like hard boiled eggs, plain yogurt, etc.

First walking in it smelled of smoke, but once to the room it was fine. The room was clean and comfortable, nothing too exceptional, but would stay again if needed. I'm not from the area, but it didn't seem like the best part of town, but it was a convenient location. Breakfast was fine. Staff was friendly.

Overall, the hotel property is pretty clean and the Management team here was very helpful and kind in working with me to get my reservation correct after EXPEDIA got it wrong! I reserved and paid for a double room with 2 queen beds however when we arrived at the hotel -the reservation they rec’d from Expedia was for a single room! I was told that I would need to contact Expedia to correct the issue and when I did, I couldn’t get anyone on the phone from EXPEDIA! Needless to say, I will never use Expedia again after this experience!!!
Huge shout out to the Manager here at LaQuinta, for going above and beyond to rectify the situation for me and get me and my mother set up in our room. My only ask is that you get hot water! Water is lukewarm.

The smell in our room was awful. Almost like wet musty carpet. Walls are paper thin. Fridge was not cleaned out from the previous stay.
