The bedroom was the size of a shoe box, and the ‘view’ was of people walking in and out the front door. The bed was tired feeling with its squeaky box spring mattress. It was a place to sleep but didn’t feel inviting. Their ‘breakfast’ was cheap store bought bagels and sugary cereal station. Coffee tasted like *** Save your money, bring your own or go out to eat. Meh rating overall. The positive: walking distance to the town beach and a couple of nice restaurants. Lovely to walk along the ocean.

We very much were looking forward to a visit back to Narragansett after having been gone 30 years. The town & what it has to offer was familiar & hadn’t gone all touristy. Atlantic House was a delight because we chose the highest price room overlooking the ocean with a large bedroom, sitting room & even outside porch & chairs. The staff very friendly & many offers to help. The biggest disappointment was the long, steep climb to the second floor. The continental breakfast was a bit skimpy but adequate. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Room was nice. Enjoyed the patio. Just wish we didn’t have an outside light blaring in at us when trying to relax outside. Enjoyed the mini breakfast offered. So did kids. I just wish they would check on rooms though out our stay. We felt like we were bothering staff so we didn’t ask them to come take our trash, which we had to do as they don’t go in your room to tidy up or anything. Claiming Covid rules. But it’s 2024.

This motel is across the street from the ocean. It is in a great location. My room was a small mediocre motel room and the partial ocean view was mostly the parking lot. The breakfast was sugary cereal and bagels. The room was clean.

It’s a great place in a great location. The staff were friendly and efficient. The only downside was the smell of the room. I think it has to do with being so close to the ocean and I’m sure a lot of wet things are continually put on the carpeted floor. You might want to think about installing vinyl flooring. It would be a lot easier to keep clean and odor free.

I enjoyed our stay. I loved the balcony, room and location of this waterfront hotel. However, the outside furniture should be updated as it was clearly rusty and the continental breakfast could use an upgrade. Market Basket bagels and fruit loops was disappointing.

My room was supposed to be ocean view and I was put on the first floor and told “you can see the ocean from the bed” but I was on the first floor with window right into the parking lot and walking entrance to front desk. I couldn’t even leave the shades open or everyone outside was full view into my room. It wasn’t that clean, hair was in the bathroom from previous occupants. Paint all over the towel bars and doorknobs. Told it was a 3 minute walk to the beach, it’s more like 15 so we drove our stuff and then someone had to take the car back to hotel & walk back. Upper deck was nice but tables are all rusted and falling apart. It was doable as we were at the beach most of the time but definitely leaves something to be desired.

Safe neighborhood and very quiet. Could have had more towels in the room but when I went to the front desk the woman was on a personal call but got me towels right away. The room had a musty smell but it was clean. The ac worked but I tried to turn the fan to low and it was stuck in the high setting. Room and bathroom were updated. The deck over looking the ocean was fabulous

Atlantic House is great! It’s old and dated but clean and very well kept. Located right across from the ocean. The staff are wonderful. We needed extra pillows and they brought them right away.
My only complaint is the toilet in the bathroom is sized for a kindergarten child- it’s so low to the floor that for an adult it might be difficult.

The view I had with a cute little porch and the ability to open windows for an ocean breeze made our stay almost perfect. The bathroom/shower was tiny and the floor needs some repairs; however, the location and view far make up for those inconveniences.
