Warm friendly welcome to a beautiful clean spacious room, excellent breakfast, our hosts could not have done more to make our stay better.
We would definitely return if we visit Torquay again.

Ray and Paula were very friendly and helpful. The rooms and guesthouse were very clean. The bed was a bit hard but otherwise our stay was excellent. Would stay again

We stayed at Grosvenor House for a couple of nights. The property is well kept and maintained. Only one thing I would say is we missed air-conditioning during the hot weather. Parking slots are very tight and if you have a new car and worry about someone banging their doors into your car body, be prepared to park somewhere else!

As a family of 3 we had the family room which was big,clean and cosy. The owners make us feel very welcome, being very kind and friendly. The property is on a walking distance from the beach and town centre. I highly recommend it. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant

Very comfortable hotel, the room we stayed in was very quiet and bed very comfortable,The hosts Paula and Ray are lovely and make you feel very welcome. If you want any ideas of what to do and see just ask them, they are full of local knowledge. Breakfast is very good too.
Hotel is also in a great location nice and quiet and with in easy walking distance to beach, harbour and town, would definitely stay again if we go back to Torquay

This was my first solo holiday, but Paula and Ray made me very welcome straight from my arrival. They are a fount of knowledge about the area, which they are more than happy to share - I think their motto is "nothing is too much trouble". My room was spacious, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated with a really comfortable bed and all the extras including a decent hairdryer. The bathroom was small but immaculate and had a really good power shower. Plenty of choice at breakfast and Ray produces an excellent Full English using local produce. Good location - 15 mins leisurely stroll through the grounds of Torre Abbey to the seafront. Now I have found this little gem I will be returning.

Very well presented hotel, close to Torre Abbey and the sea front. Friendly hosts. Quality bed linen and well-maintained accommodation. Comfortable public lounge with large-screen TV and wi-fi worked well. Parking can be a bit tight, but there is usually space in the road. Quality breakfast, full English as well as assorted fruit, cereals. Located on a hill which might be a problem for some travellers. I would have preferred a bathtub but only showers here, I gathered.

Stayed here for a week and was met with a warm welcome, was given information on the area and suggested things to do. The location is perfect for a base camp and only a nice short walk into town, beach etc.

Stayed for five nights.Ray and Paula are excellent hosts and the accommodation was both nice and clean and very well maintained with a nice comfortable bed. Stayed in room 1 which is spacious and light and has a open view out over the front of the property.

Paula and Ray were very friendly and helpful. On arrival they pointed out lots to see and do in Devon and the easiest ways to get there too. The unexpected upgrade to super king-size bed was a very pleasant surprize too

Genuine warm welcome, allover cleanliness, cosy fresh bedding and lots of effort from the owners made it a lovely stay. Only one night due to last minute change of plans but definitely recommend and would stay again.

after ringing the bell at the front door, the two owners of the place came and offered us coffee, we sat with them for a while and had a very nice chat. they are very warm people. we received recommendations on where to go and what to do. We'll for sure come again when visiting Torquay!

we stayed in the family room . for 4 nights very comfortable. clean Paula and Ray are fantastic host very helpful and made are stay fantastic. breakfast are great .we would highly recommend and we will be going back very soon .

The owners, Paula and Ray, were both so friendly and welcoming. Our room was very clean and comfy, and it was just a short walk to the seafront. A big choice for breakfast, all very tasty and included in the reasonable room rate! Would recommend and will stay there again.
