Welcoming staff but found half eaten pizza in room and water was brown when it came out of the tap. Breakfast was fine

Villa Elda is very convenient to walk to center city and to bus. Quiet neighborhood just outside the wall. Beautifully furnished. Good people.

What can I say. This was our first time in Siena and my first time in Italy for some 28 years. Jimmy is the perfect host. Nothing is too much trouble for him and the rest of the staff. They have great knowledge of Siena and the surrounding area so you can really go and do and eat and drink like a local. The rooms are clean, well appointed and maintained excellently. The breakfast had just enough variation without being overwhelming and is a great start to the day. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Siena and the surrounding area. We base ourselves here for a whole week. Finally, the hotel’s terrace must have one of the best views of Siena, taking in the Duomo, Torre del Mangia and much more. I cannot recommend a stay here enough. If we visit Siena again we will definitely be staying here again.

Great room and comfortable bed. View from rooftop was fantastic, especially in the evenings. Easy walking distance to several areas but also far enough that it was quiet at night.

Great hospitality at this wonderful hotel. The staff were so friendly and attentive, offering lots of advice and serving drinks on the scenic terrace. Our room was tastefully decorated with a lovely original fresco visible on the ceiling. Just a short walk into town with lots of restaurants nearby and free street parking outside. Our only complaint was that we visited during an unseasonably cold and wet patch of weather, yet the rooms were really hot at night with no fan or air conditioning which disturbed our sleep. We would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel has the most fantastic location, an easy 2 minute walk into the main heart of the town and yet our bedroom window framed the skyline of Sienna perfectly. You also felt that all of the staff could not do enough for you.

Very charming hotel just outside the village of Siena, Italy. Very kind employees during our stay. We greatly appreciated the restaurant recommendations. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable.

We stayed here in 2012 and again in October 2018. I would highly recommend this hotel, but am told that the ownership is changing on Nov 1, 2018, so anything could change.

The property and rooms were very nice. It was hard to find parking. Recommend calling ahead and the staff will assist with finding parking. I thought Sienna’s cathedral was more beautiful than St Peters Basilica in Rome.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 days and loved everything about this place. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff was very helpful. Siena is a great city, and very walkable (10 minute walk and in the middle of it all), so despite not being close to the action, we actually loved staying in a more residential area to get the quiet, calm atmosphere. Breakfast in the garden outside was a great way to start the morning. All in all, an excellent place to stay.

We had a beautiful stay at Villa Elda while we visited Siena! The service was fantastic and the people there were always willing to help with anything! The rooms were clean and of a good standard. You could also eat breakfast outside in the lovely gardens. There was also room to park our car there which was great. The walk into town was around 10-15 minutes but very scenic with great views of Siena. I definitely recommend Villa Siena!

Nice, quiet, clean, well-kept place with friendly staff.

This is a private villa converted hotel, very cozy and personal. Located just outside the old town, which is perfect if you want to rest and enjoy some sleep time. The staff is really helpful and explained everything about the old town and recommended us a few great resturants, which turned out to be very good. The last day we were leaving, she also helped us book the next hotel we're staying since it's the weekend and the hotel gets busy and we don't speak Italian. That's really nice of her.

We stayed at this amazing hotel in May 2014 during our 25th wedding anniversary trip. The hotel is only a short taxi ride from the train station a "little bit" out of town but so worth the trip! We were able to walk everywhere from here in our excursions to downtown Siena. We had mentioned to the hotel that we were celebrating our 25th and when we got to the hospital clean room there was a bottle of champagne, fresh picked roses from their garden and some snacks as well - with a congratulations card too! The room was in the front of the hotel and the view was spectacular. And the staff? Fantastic! My husband had written to them ahead of time asking if there were any gluten free items available for the included breakfast and they went and purchased special muffins just for me! There were hard boiled eggs, meat, cheese and fruit as well. The grounds When we sadly had to leave after two days, the girl at the desk gave us excellent advice to take the bus to Rome because the train would have required us to change trains a couple of times and it would take much longer! We were able to walk to the bus station in only 10 minutes. Glad I had packed light :) All in all I would recommend this hotel highly - can't wait to go back someday!
