We had an incredible stay at this hotel and we cannot say enough about the owner and the staff. They were truly wonderful, so kind, thoughtful and friendly. Just fantastic people. The room was nicely decorated, very clean, and the balcony was so nice, overlooking the sea each morning and night in Positano is truly a privilege. We enjoyed the light breakfast brought to our room each morning and the croissants were some of the best we had in Italy. We rented a Vespa nearby and rode to Ravello and took the ferry another day to Capri. We look forward to staying here again, but longer next time!

Great spot in one of the most beautiful places! We had a sea view room and it was totally worth it to eat breakfast and take in the scenery.

Our stay was good, but the staff were OCD crazy about everything. Every time we came out of our room, they were on us for one thing or another. When are you checking out? Make sure you close the door behind you! We felt like we were getting harassed and our parents were yelling at us every time we left to do something. It was weird.
But the rooms were clean and it was a really beautiful view.

We had a wonderful time in Positano and we couldn’t have had it without the wonderful Palazzo Talamo. Beautiful view with a balcony, breakfast options, a great TV and AC in the room, very conveniently located just enough away from the commotion by the beach to sleep in peace. If you wanted to hang around though there was Caffe Positano right outside (be patient with the staff). Lastly, you Iust need to be prepared for the early morning staff, around 0700-0730 there is a bit of noise and conversation due to breakfast prep. Otherwise, the owner and her staff were very pleasant and helped make our stay a great success. We hope to be back soon!

A nice 3 star hotel, right in the heart of positano, my favourite restaurant was only up the hill on the left so it was an ideal location, but also ideal if you want to walk to the beach and further into town down the mountain.
Staff are absolutely lovely and you have breakfast served onto your balcony with a sea view , so you cant complain, its only a standard breakfast, but i wss happy with that. Overall i was happy with my stay, nice balcony view, nice staff and a nice location.

Stay was awesome! The view was unbelievable, the staff was so friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect. It was closer to the beach than properties higher up the hill (still a lot of steps, but doable). They brought breakfast every morning that we enjoyed on the balcony with the quintessential view of Positano. The room itself was pretty basic, but met our needs and the view from the bathroom was incredible. Would recommend this property for sure.

Overall our stay was very satisfactory. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. The balcony view was BEAUTIFUL and the aesthetic of the hotel and the room had such beautiful tile work.

The hotel is well located near the steps to the beach. Hotel staff was friendly. However, there is absolutely zero sound proofing in the rooms, it was very noisy all day and night. Breakfast was absolutely terrible, they dont even let you have an extra bread slice. No full mirror in the room, mattress was too hard.

We had a lovely vacation at Palazzo Talamo! Our room felt very spacious and had an amazing view of the water that was such a joy to wake up to every morning. The location cannot be beat either- we loved that it was super close to fun restaurants and right next to the stairs leading down to the water. The staff was excellent and helped us on many occasions to plan outings and schedule taxis and recommend restaurants. They also provide beach towels for use at the beach clubs which I found to be very helpful! We also loved the morning breakfast in the room and we were happy that we could pick what time it would be delivered. We would DEFINITELY stay here again!!!

This hotel was amazing! The views from our balcony made us not even want to leave! The location was great, about a 10 minute walk down the beach and port. Going up took us a little longer with the stairs, but it was also easy to walk along the road. You can choose from multiple options for breakfast and it will be brought to your room to eat on the balcony. We didn't even want to leave this review because it's such a hidden gem for the area and price but would highly recommend it and we can't wait to come back to visit!

Absolutely fantastic hotel with gorgeous sea-views!
Staff were very friendly and always willing to help. The area around the hotel is great for shopping and dining and it has stair access down towards the beach and pier area.
Definitely recommend especially if you want a more Italian style and feel to your accommodation during your trip!

Our room had a beautiful view of the coastline. The staff is very helpful. Getting to the beach is a trek involving hundreds of steps but that’s no different than most hotels closer to the top of Positano.

Great rom with an amazing view of positano and the bay. Staff was friendly. Hotel is roughly 300 steps down/up from the beach. Located right across from a few good restaurants. The breakfast served in your room is amazing and a great way to start the day enjoying the view on your porch.

We used ferry from Naples (80 min) and this is the only way for me to enjoy Positano without a car. Looking at the map and I thought it'd be a easy walk but it was a quite vertical HIKE from the ferry terminal. Make sure to use porter service (10 euro/bag) that hotel can arrange. It's NOT a good idea to carry your own luggage!! The stay was worth every steps we climbed. Very nice staff, clean room (tight), we enjoyed breakfast in the terrace brought to the room every morning. Hotel is away from the main crowds yet several amazing restaurants and shops are within walking distance. The only issue was when neighbor's dog was barking frequently while enjoying coffee and the view.

No privacy with adjoining rooms particularly in the balcony you could see each other all the time couple of feet away , view was lovely, breakfast was unappetising, very small portion, chose to cancel and ate elsewhere, would have been nice to have a drink in their terrace cafe as on their website overlooking bay but this was not open, very disappointing never told us why. Very clean. Unfortunately would not stay here again.

They have provided me a room, not with only ocean view but also Positano town view.
From our balcony, we can enjoy everything Positano provides. The view was too nice not to enjoy. We bought wine, prosciutto, Burrata, tomato and so on. Restaurants are in 10 seconds to place an order to pick up. Paying more ends up saving more

Easily accessed from the street, and the elevator takes you DOWN to the floors with the rooms. As a result, there are magnificent views and no noise from the street. There are great restaurants right outside the door.

Our stay at Palazzo Talamo was amazing. We got a room with ocean view and it was so worth it, the views are breathtaking. The staff was so nice and helpful and the breakfasts in the room were lovely too. We made the mistake to climb the stairs to get to the hotel as the map showed it was the shorter path, don’t do it, just follow the road until you reach the hotel, much easier! The area is beautiful too, far enough from the super busy street but close enough to reach in less than 5 min. I would definitely recommend this place to people who don’t have a huge budget but still would like to have views from their hotel room.

The view is amazing but that’s about it. You pay for the location in Positano but the room itself is fine, hotel had an odd smell, and breakfast was bad. They also have cameras everywhere and I let a friend in to fix her contact that had fallen out, and they called our room telling us she couldn’t be there. Stay here if no other options.
