We had booked at hotel la Bayeux but when we arrived we were directed to hotel Normandy. It was a little confusing but we called the number and had no problems. The girl who checked us in was super kind. Our room was perfect for our family of 5. We had Breakfast there and it was nice to sit and relax for Breakfast. We wish we had planned more time here. It is a lovely town.

Location was good, close to the train station and downtown. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Only negative was a musty smell, likely coming from the sink.

Lovely staff and close to main attraction (3 mins walk). Very basic rooms and breakfast. Rooms are not sound-proof, we could hear people on the hallway. The wall heaters not working but there is aircon. The hot water went cold after 10 mins. Bed not very comfortable. Difficulty with parking, we ended up paying extra to park inside hotel compound.

This is a quaint hotel that has all the amenities. We liked our stay at this hotel.

This is our second stay with this hotel. We chose this hotel because it located close the train station, close to restaurants and shopping, and close the pick up point for Overlord tours. The employees are friendly and helpful. It is also close to museums. There is no elevator to the second floor. We love to hear the Nearby Cathedral bells in the morning and at night.

This was a nice, safe and quiet property. The staff was great. The location is in central Bayeux and very convenient to the city center! We had a piece of luggage that had been lost on a flight and the airlines tried to deliver it here after we checked out, the staff did exactly as we asked and refused delivery so that the luggage could find its way back to us at the airlines expense! We really enjoyed our stay and visit!

This hotel was a great spot to explore Bayeux! The room was small, but cozy, and was very walkable to the town. We also enjoyed the breakfast, it was tasty and convenient. Unfortunately, we had a poor experience when leaving the hotel. We asked the receptionist to order a cab to the Caen airport early in the morning, which they did - but then they finished their shift and left. The cab didn't show up, and there was no replacement receptionist to follow up on our request (supposed to be 24 hr staff on site). It was a stressful situation, as we were afraid to miss our flight, but thankfully we figured it out on our own.

Hotel Le Bayeux is a lovely establishment providing comfort and respite right in the Town of Bayeux. There are plenty of nearby museums, restaurants and shops. The location of the hotel is really convenient for visiting nearby Normandy sites.

This is a nice hotel in a convenient location, close to several restaurants, and available parking close by. They served a good breakfast with many different food selections available for a decent price. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to stay there.

Keep in mind that this structure is a couple of hundred years old (or more) and was not originally constructed as a hotel for American tourists. Appreciate it for what it is. Clean, convenient, safe and with an outstanding, friendly staff.

Great location within walking distance to all attractions in Bayeaux. Staff were friendly and responsive to requests.
Room size for our family of six was adequate for the price.
There was a wretched odor in the bathroom upon arrival, which subsided after being addressed by staff.
A deep cleaning and some decor updates would make for a more comfortable stay.

From the moment we arrived the staff was friendly and very helpful. Our room was just recently remodeled and was a great size for the 3 of us. We would stay here again!! Great location to the train station!!

I thought the property was lovely. It, along with the surrounding neighborhood felt like it was from another time. It looked and felt very much as it must have looked on DDay.

Great location in such a beautiful town. The staff was tremendous as well. However, we had ongoing issues with the internet. Access was very spotty and even some of the staff said they were having issues. In addition, the heating and air conditioner could not be adjusted inside our room. We had to talk with the front desk to make temperature and fan adjustments from a facility controlled panel in the lobby area which seemed peculiar. Again, some staff members seemed to make it work and others didn’t. A couple other items, when taking a shower, there was no soap in the dispenser and no Kleenex. Both items were resolved during our stay. A simple lack of attention to detail.
A nice breakfast buffet was included.
Again, the staff was great in trying to assist us with the problems we encountered but overall the issues we had left us frustrated.
