The terrace view to the valley was extraordinary.
Good breakfast in a very nice place.

This is now our go-to Hotel in Assisi. We had our elopement ceremony on the private terrace and the staff was amazing. Highly recommend this hotel!

Dinner in hotel restaurant was a VERY prolonged experience probably because of large tour groups. It was our mistake for not anticipating slow service having seen the tour groups, and we’ll not make that mistake again in a hotel. We’ve been in Italy for over a week and have eaten at a number of restaurants with a pace in our meal that could be adjusted to our desires. Not so here. However, the hotel is quite lovely, our room superb, and the view fantastic.

Hard beds, service just okay. The room wasn't tidy when we arrived. Ac hardly worked. Just uncomfortable.

The hotel bed was not completely made when we arrived. The bedside dressers were not straight. The bed was off a box spring with no cover other than a sheet. The service staff was inept. was terrible, and breakfast was ok. Outdated, and everything was ancient. The bed was hard rock. We had to ask for fresh linens and toilet paper. The view was the only good thing. The rooms were hot. They even try to charge me extra for breakfast when it was suppose to be included when I reserves the room.

The only good this about this hotel is the location/views. The property itself is dated. The AC in our original room did not work and rather than admitting it, the staff kept denying that it was broken. Finally at 2 am they moved us to a new room with working AC. That room, however, had bugs (ants) on the counter. When we told the staff, the manager said that they try to clean it but that we are in the countryside……as though this is a justification for bugs in the hotel room.

Staff is super , amazing views, unbeatable location.
The mini fridge was gone and no mention of it , which was disappointing, the bed was terrible, seriously need to up their game in that department because it is such an easy fix and would elevate their status because I overheard another guest say the same thing. Also air conditioning borderline .. 3024… cmon , a sweaty guest is an unhappy guest.

The views from this hotel, its bar / lounge/ balcony are stunning. Parking is on site which is very important in a tightly controlled historic city center such as in Assisi.

Worst check in process. Staff is beyond rude and would only take care of Italians and tried to screw us multiple times. Did not stay and was told we would be refunded

Room was a welcome bit of luxury halfway through our Italy adventure. Staff was exceptional. Furniture in the bar was a bit tired but served it’s purpose and the Rick red leather still looked nice.

Beautiful charming hotel in a great location. I would return. Room was spacious, well appointed with a lovely terrace with amazing view. Person checking us in at front desk did not display any friendliness, no greeting, etc. He must have been having a bad day as everyone else at hotel was amazing. So first impression was that we were putting him out…luckily it was not repeated with other staff. I would gladly return.

This property has an AMAZING view of Assisi. Located around the middle of the town it was an easy walk to the Basilica of St. Francis or the Basilica of Santa Chara. Suggest including breakfast as they have a great spread. We booked this hotel because it had a pool but it is only available if you use the spa or pay 30€. The rooms are a little run down but overall stay was good.

Parking had to pay 20 euro a day. But nowhere is mention about it.. More than London .

The hotel was very nice. Our room was comfortable. There was an amazing view of the countryside from our window. The staff was very accommodating.

We did not know that we had to reserve parking beforehand. Hence, we had to pay park at a nearby facility at Euro 14 per day. Staff were very friendly, and service was top. Restaurant was excellent in ambience and quality with Antonio and Matteo was helpful and attentive. Concierge Roland was also v friendly

Amazing charm and character in this hotel in Assisi! One of the best meals we’ve ever had, in the restaurant. The breakfast is fantastic and was included.
Only one criticism was that the bathroom did not have an electrical outlet. Would HIGHLY recommend this place! But be warned: pushing heavy suitcases up the hill to get there was quite a workout! But better than the 20 euros to take a taxi (bus was 2 euros!)

I adored everything the property offered, the staff are kind, gracious and helpful. I plan to stay here again the next time I’m in Assisi. Did I mention that it’s a short walk from the Basilica of St Francis and other attractions.

We loved staying in Donna Beatrice, the terrace view is spectacular! The staff is amazing as well as location from bus stop. The breakfast was divine with many options available. This was my 2nd time at hotel Giotto and I hope one day to return to the city of peace.
