Beautiful hotel and grounds with lovely gardens. Second stay here and will return. Delicious breakfast and lunch. Did not eat in the formal dining room for dinner this time but did on a previous visit and it was excellent. Makes for a wonderful respite when driving across Ireland.

Our stay was fantastic. Very calm relaxing and enjoyable Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent with a great choices.

This was our first stay here but will not be the last. Every aspect of our stay here was wonderful - the room was spacious, spotless and had everything we needed to ensure we were comfortable. The staff were friendly and so accommodating, Krishna in particular went out of his way to make our stay special. The food and drink was also delicious, all served to a high standard. The grounds are also worth checking out, the entire duration of our stay we felt so comfortable and can’t wait to return

The estate was beautiful and I enjoyed the grounds. I was disappointed to find my room was not actually inside the castle. Apparently most of them are not so if you have your heart set on sleeping in a castle make sure to verify with the property as hotels does not disclose this. My room was nice, but more of a regular hotel room feel. The high tea is delicious and filling.

First class all the way, from the beautiful on gardens, lake and grounds, to the high ceilings and heated floors, the service that was so friendly & accommodating & the food that was to die for - who wouldn’t want to stay here? I felt like a princess.

Lough Rynn is an amazing hotel, coping well with the virus restrictions. The walled garden is spectacular.

This is the best Castle in Ireland.. Staff are extremely polite, attentive and efficient. Bedrooms are plush and spotless. The Baronial Hall is a marvel and sitting rooms are exceptional with views of the amazing lough . The gardens are fabulous, 3 levels right down to the waters edge.. Beautiful hotel/castle. Beautiful surroundings. Excellent staff. So welcoming and friendly. I was there last week with my mom. They were so kind and accommodating. We arrived last Thursday afternoon. I didn’t get the name of the lovely lady at reception but she was excellent. We dined in your restaurant that evening and our meal was lovely. I have to give a special mention to Jayd who looked after us that evening. She was so friendly, so efficient and just made our whole experience even better. What an asset she is to have in your lovely restaurant. Thank you.

Lough Rynn was a beautiful hotel and location. We loved our stay. It was relaxing. The staff was very friendly and professional.

The gardens are fab. The food is lovely. The rooms are very nice. Lo ely place.

Hospitality was amazing here- from the waitress, front desk, Bellhop, etc. They were so welcoming and helpful! Dinner and breakfast were wonderful and the property was stunning! Biggest complaint was WiFi was nonexistent due to the large wedding party present... they should have separate WiFi just for guests. Room was very hot and open window didn’t help. Also, I’d give one star to Expedia for not indicating the room wasn’t in the castle

This castle has beautiful grounds and the main building houses the restaurant and bars, as well some of the guest rooms. Our room was in another building a few minutes walk away, but not very far a long walk. The food was good and the staff were excellent. We stayed during a wedding party, and the staff set out an additional table for us since all of the other tables had been taken already. The bar staff were extremely friendly locals.

Room outside hotel main building had to walk ifor 5 mins in rain to breakfast dinners etc not aware of this when booking not suitable for older guests of family with young kids Had to ask staff again for items ordered off menu, items to room. At final bill was charged for 2 extra meals and a bottle of wine that another customer had ordered. Some staff were extremely friendly some were not

The setting is just lovely inside and outside. It gives the feeling of staying in a castle with new and modern comfort and plenty of heat and hot water! The staff were helpful and very polite. The full Irish Breakfast included in a nights stay with Expedia was a delight to all the senses! If you are in Langford or even close by, stop here for an overnight and take time to enjoy all the views.

Great location so tranquil ideal get away from the busy world experience . Staff gave 100% to insure. our stay was most enjoyable

I couldn't fault Lough Rynn in any way. If you are looking for luxury, beautiful scenery and fine dining it's a must. The staff were friendly and couldn't be more helpful. They will be seeing ya again.

Wonderful experience, great people and splendor castle.

Wonderful hotel which was a former castle, idyllic, peaceful location ideal for couples or families. It's a Grade 1 listed building set in a beautiful location. Acres of grounds to explore with its own walled garden. Rooms are all you would expect. Superb food (we had bar food in the evening and a full Irish breakfast) served in luxurious surroundings. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful.Have stayed in many hotels but this is right up there and we will have to return.

Lough Rynn Castle was highly recommended. I checked the price on Expedia and booked a room in the castle. The website said " you're booked, no need to phone to reconfirm. A few hours later my wife and I arrived at the Castle and I told the receptionist that I had a reservation. I knew straight away by the look of controlled concern on her face that all was not as it should be. I explained that I had booked the room using Expedia. She said, " sorry sir ,we are fully booked. Expedia's computer doesn't work on Sunday's and you are the second person that this has happened to. I said ," just give me a minute" . I went to the car , got my iPad, connected to the hotel wifi and showed the receptionist the confirmed booking. One of the hotel managers (Andy) arrived on the scene and informed me that they had been fully booked for two nights and that Expedia should not have been running that offer!!! The time was approaching 10.30 pm. and we needed to be in Carrick- on- Shannon the next day so they informed us that they could accommodate us in one of their houses in the residential estate. We stayed the night, but if we had known before leaving home that we were going to have to stay in an estate house, we would not have taken the journey. When we went to check out the next morning we were given a discount off our bill.....so what??? We had not got what we had booked and we had to stay somewhere. Some questions need to be answered. First, does Expedia's computer system work on Sunday?

We arrived late and were disappointed that we did not have more time to enjoy this lovely hotel. The breakfast was delicious and service impeccable. Only thing is that we would ask to be in the main building next time. We were in a lovely secondary building, but had to climb a rather steep set of stairs to arrive at our room. Once in the room, it was a bit small, but with all the cleanliness and comforts we would like. Only recommendation would be brighter reading lamps by the beds. Could only read with top lights.

Fabulous room, we felt like kings and queens, Only 1 problem shower screen didnt stop water from going over the floor.

eVERYTRHING UP TO 4 STAR STANDARDS EXCEPT WE COULDN'T OPEN BEDROOM OR BATHROOM WINDOWS. ABANDONED BUILDING SITE OUTSIDE WINDOW. WHAT A SHAME. RUINED A LOVELY EXPERIENCE.
