Absolutely great B&B! Fantastic choices for breakfast, which was simple the best we’ve ever eaten in a B&B. Everything super clean, and the attention to detail made this place special. Great care taken to cater for dietary requirements including gluten free biscuits in the room. Lovely shower and spotless bathroom.

A very friendly welcome. The room was stylish, clean and perfect for our needs.
Michele and Bill were great hosts and the daily breakfast was varied, plentiful and tasty.
I would strongly recommend this house as it is ideally situated for the town, beach and amenities.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights for a long weekend visiting Swanage and could not have found a better B&B. Michele and Bill are lovely, friendly and welcoming hosts and have created a fantastic, clean and well furnished B&B. We especially enjoyed the breakfasts here which were cooked to perfection and could be fully customisable, such a good start to our days thank you :) We stayed in the top room which was spacious and had it's own spotless toilet and shower. Parking is available behind the house and the seafront is a stone's throw away. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Exceptional b & b who went out of their way to ensure we had a relaxing and pleasant stay. Rooms and ensuite were immaculately clean. Delicious breakfast with good selection of quality local produce.

Brillant place to stay! Michele and Bill are excellent hosts and make you feel very welcomed. Tauton house is beautifully decorated with a nautical theme - which is very appropriate with its proximity to the sea at Swanage - and well maintained. Wonderful breakfast. We would highly recommend and intend to stay again.

Lovely home, friendly atmosphere and dog treats! Who could ask for more. Close to the high street and seafront. Good breakfast. Only downside for us was the parking...we were coming from different directions and there is only one spot included with the room - absolutely understandable but left me with having to park down the road in the long term car park. But at only £8 for 24 hours we were fine with that. We would stay again if we find ourselves back in Swanage.

A lovely B&B. Room was comfortable and spotless. The breakfast was fresh with a good choice. Perfectly situated about 100 yards from pubs, shops and sea front. Michelle and Bill perfect hosts.

Stays in B&Bs don't come better than one with Bill and Michelle - and I hate B&Bs usually I'm strictly a hotel person, but for me this is much more of a small boutique hotel. Love it here & proximity to great diving & the amazing Black swan for dinner completes the perfection.

Quaint little place right near the main high street. Lovely room and breakfast in the morning. Owners were really nice and health and safety with hand sanitiser and information about what happens with housekeeping.

After my first day on the SW Coast Path, Taunton House was the perfect place to retreat to, in order to feel like a human being again rather than a collection of very sore body parts! It's right in the centre of Swanage, but as it's a (very) short distance down a side street, it's still peaceful. Bill and Michele were very friendly, and had thought through their COVID reopening well. They explained everything clearly, had a great setup to ensure distancing for breakfast (which was delicious), and they couldn't have been more helpful. I'd happily return!

Excellent location, hosts are fantastic. Accommodation very tasteful, bed comfortable, shower nice and powerful. Breakfast cooked to order, plenty of choice and good quality products, Dog friendly. Lovely stay at Taunton House, received a warm welcome from Bill & Michele. Room was beautiful, bed really comfy with lovely linen. Very clean. Perfect location for exploring Swanage with small car park at the rear. Breakfast was delicious, perfect way to start the day! Whole stay 10/10....will stay again! Thank you Bill & Michele 😊
