Nice hotel, friendly staff, and very well located with a convenient bus stop nearby and nor far from the main train station. Recommended.

An hotel not too expensive with a good service and not too far from lakeside. Center Lugano 2km walking away.

Overall good. The room could have been vacuumed once during the 6 days stay but otherwise all in order. Francesco at checkin was helpfull and pleasant.

Well, the staff was amazing, friendly, supportive and smiley. the hotel is clean, nice but very basic. when I asked for a steamer to unwrinkle my suite, they do not have one. not a biggie, but still, when one travels to Lugano to meet banks, it is essential! Pitty no one was thinking of this and other small details that makes the stay a pleasure.

There are Ibis and Ibis budget hotels in the same bulding and we stayed at Ibis one.The room was clean but there is basically nothing. It is like a B&B, there is no fridge, no slippers, no safe in the room and its a pretty small room.

Not helped by it's location, not that it's in a bad place, quite the opposite, it's surrounded by world class hotels in an amazing town. You have the feeling you aren't getting the best of the destination. That said, cheap and functional. Nothing wrong with it , it's just dull.

We were aware of that hotel was not central. There is not much in Lugano Paradiso in winter, however it's well connected by buses to station and city centre. We booked and had a confirnation for a room overlooking the pool but we had a room on the other side overlooking a building site. Room was small with very little space to move and very warm considering it was winter. When I asked reception about air conditioning receptionist did not seem to be aware how heating was was working and after looking at a leaflet she said they have no aircon in winter so we had to sleep with window semi open. Only one towel per person is provided and the usual excuse to save water was given. Second towel was provided on request and they were running short of those too. I know Ibis is a low badget hotel but the price in Lugano was much higher than any other european standards so I would expect a better service

This was a good hotel in a good location. It is about a 15 minute bus ride from the main station. And walking distance to one of the cable cars taking you up the mountain. Very close to the waterfront and an easy walk to the main part of town. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. We had only wished they offered a continental breakfast.

The room is quite small compared to other rooms that we have been in Europe. Parking is quite expensive as well. Overall stay is OK, but for the price, you might want to stay next door at their Ibis Budget as I don't think you will see much difference in terms of the room facilities as it quite empty in our room.

Good hotel, but have to book 2 rooms as there is no quad occupancy. Its a business hotel, so expect it to be compact and frill free.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating!Room was standard, which is just what we paid for, location was pretty good, only a short walk from paradiso station, supermarkets, restaurants and Lugano lake! Would stay again!

Very comfortable hotel close to the lake, funicular to top of mountain & a pleasant walk to Lugano & the old town which takes about 15-20 minutes.
