There was a committed high level of excellent service in this place. The property is really something to see. The breakfast and service each morning was excellent The location is close enough to the middle of Tropea but far enough away that you have tremendous peace and quiet if you are still looking for a place to stay in Tropea, stop looking...this is the place

Villa Paola is a magical place. When you arrive there is a private and easily accessible parking area adjacent to the property. Then you enter and you are afforded a private tour of the incredible property. Thank you Anna! Our room was spectacular. A room complete with a sauna, a private lounge area and an incredible bedroom. Then we experienced arguably the most incredible dining experience of our lives. Grazie Mille Luca, Maria and the entire De’ Minimi Restaurant Team. An evening we will never forget. The next morning we were treated to a spectacular breakfast in our room. Sadly we had to depart however the team was there to say goodbye and offer additional gifts. Then before we officially departed we spent time in the church connected to the property which represents a unique and special history. I have never been so emotional leaving a property. Villa Paola offers an experience that is beyond comparison...it touches your heart and soul. We are already planning our return.

We regret only stayed here for a day! Everyone here is super friendly and helpful. The hotel is in an amazing location with spectacular views! Breakfast is great and they even grow their own vegetables here! One of my best ever hotel experiences!

This is off the beaten track. It is a true haven. I only wish I had scheduled my trip to spend more time there. It is special. The next time I go to Italy I will try to stay there for a week - and bring my friends!

Staff was very warm and friendly . Property was very unique and clearly the best in the area. For such a small property the restaurant offered very good evening meals. We would stay again.

Villa Paola is a very special place. Everything is first class, the staff, the food, the sheets, the pool, the grounds, gardens. Totally fabulous. Super attentive staff, gracious and helpful in every way. The view is unbelievable. The place is so peaceful and relaxing, we loved every moment of our stay.

Absolutely loved villa Paola. The grounds are incredible and the service is top notch. I enjoyed being a little out of town, short 20 min walk, however they could really step it up by adding an on-demand shuttle service from the hotel into town. Taxis are pricey at 15 euro each way for such a short distance and they were unreliable when we would call for them from the hotel. The hotel only has 12 rooms, a shuttle service for such few guests shouldn’t be too much of a hassle. Otherwise, would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Stunning location on a hill overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea with the walled city of Tropea a mile in the distance. Beautiful property, with many plants and flowers. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, as were the common areas. Breakfast (which was quite good) on the terrace overlooking the sea was a delight. The staff, especially Katia, was warm and efficient. A true 5-star property. Would return any time.

Beaches are a 15 min walk away.The food was great, the staff were lovely and as there was only 11 rooms it was a very tranquil and romantic location. Tropea is 15 min walk or 5 min by car or taxi. I would like to extend my thanks to all at the Villa - every aspect was 5 stars!!

Very pretty grounds but maybe because it wasn’t so busy they didn’t have enough staff. Our air conditioning didn’t work for the two nights we were there.

A gem - idyllic just out of town. It was like being on a retreat.

The facilities were really fantastic. Very stylish hotel with a very romantic atmosphere. The only downsides were that the staff did not speak any English and that there were virtually no English tv channels, which is something very common among smaller hotels. Other than that, amazing hotel, and would definitely recommnend it.

One of our favorite places to stay. You can feel the love that goes into everything. The quality in service, experience and everything available was simply perfect.
