Everything is perfect, except the strange smell in the lavatory .
4.3
The room was smelly with body odors. There are no towels in the room. The air condition is not working. No dinner available. Breakfast, for the price, should have been free. 30 minutes or more from town.
4.3
Very nice, clean, near bus station, near ski resort (0.3 mile). Excellent onset. But the mattress is too firm, hurt my back.
4.3
good

Staff friendly. Dinner and breakfast were tasty. Close to ski field. But room is SO HOT. When we checked in we immediately turned off the heater. But hot air kept coming in from the vents. We opened our window all night to allow freezing air in to cool off. But did not sleep as we had to open and close window all night. We came for the onsen but didn’t use it because we didn’t want to get hot in the bath and then come back to hot room. No sleep. Sad stay. Not relaxing.

Enjoyed my stay greatly . Would definitely come back. Extremely close to ski resort . Walking distance to ski lift

This hotel really need update the room we stay are old smell and outdated we are kind of disappointed because we so look forward to this stay but everything are not reach standard
The gym is hot old with not much machine the pool need pay additional to go in it was just 1 indoor pool nothing exciting so don’t understand why they charge more on it and when check out they charge hotel fee

Dinner was great. Room so big. Breakfast and onsen were just acceptable.

The service is Amazing. The front desk manager is incredible. He even went so far as to call authorities when I didn’t come back from a backcountry expedition. They were ready to start the search if I hadn’t returned late that night.
I am truly Grateful for his attention to detail because of the dangerous backcountry terrain.
4.3
excellent half board. Rooms a bit old fashioned. Staff very good. Onsen great
4.3
Room is spacious. Food are excellent and staffs are very good.
4.3
Fair enough with the price and quality. The staff were very nice and helpful.
4.3
Everything is good except the breakfast is about average
4.3
I wish there are more food options.

Rooms need some updating, but the Onsen was amazing, especially outside when it was snowing. A little disappointed about the pool. I went to take my kids and they tried to charge me money. I already paid for the hotel and had to pay Onsen tax on arrival. Why should I have to pay for the pool that is part of the hotel. Overall it was a great experience and would stay again.
4.3
Very good in terms of value.
4.3
It’s good to have hot spring in the winter. WiFi quality isn’t stable at room. But overall, it’s a hotel worthy of coming.
4.3
Amazing place, but the hotel is a little run down.
Locations of rooms are also far from the reception area.
However, overall I would say it is a great place to spend the night
4.3
Beautiful onsen. It will be good if the breakfast selection can alter everyday, maybe adding one or 2 new dishes. Overall good. Will recommend to friends.
4.3
It was late when we arrived. But the staff is very very very nice to us. They us to the room and introduce the hotel’s facilities while walking. Also isn’t
4.3
It’s a old hotel but very cozy and clean.
Onsen was so nice and clean, too!
Breakfast was not so great but it was enough to eat.
4.3
Good for us.
4.3
Good onsen hotel near Otaru city within 15 - 20 mins drive. Buffet breakfast with good selection of breakfast items. Room was spacious.
4.3
Outdoor Onsen is good n quiet place close to Otaru which is good for ppl who drive
4.3
Top notch for its price. Comfy, spacious room with clear condition. Dinner is modern japanese cuisine, both creative and delicious. Downside is you have nothing to do around here. Recommend for short hot spring experience.
4.3
The room is not clean and full of dust. The view is good.
4.3
Staff very kind so perfect relaxaction thank's
See you soon

Everything is good but no much shop nearby the location.

Family trip to the Sapporo snow festival. We booked this place largely based on price (everything in or near Sapporo was astronomical), but also because we had heard that Otaru is nice to check out (it is) and also - my favorite - because this sits right across from a small ski area. We took a day just for skiing and the area had a surprising amount of terrain and a not-so-surprising amount of phenomenal snow. At any rate, the hotel: the room was HUGE, and not just by Japanese standards, though a bit dated. The breakfast buffet was great. Only complaint is that you have to pay an additional fee to use the pool, which was quite nice - with a "fenced-off" shallow kids area.

It was a great experience for our family in our first trip to Hokkaido. After a 30+ hour travels from Atlanta, GA, we wanted to just relax to recover from our trip. We were fortunate to have arrived just a half hour before the 3:00pm check-in time so we were able to get to our room quickly. The staff was very helpful in getting us all settled and we began unwind from the hectic travels. The hotel has convenient morning shuttle to Otaru station, which we took advantage. The location was very peaceful and the dining was superb to let us begin our fresh seafood experience. We reserved the room with a personal outdoor bath which we absolutely recommend a must have. We also loved the Japanese breakfast in the morning and since our son didn't quite enjoy the Japanese style, the western breakfast was very good as well. The only thing we would probably change is the time of year which we visited. The snow just started falling and we didn't get to take advantage of the slopes across the street. Overall, would definitely come back for our next visit in a few years.
4.3
Staff was friendly and helpful. It was nice that they reimbursed the bus fare from Otaru station to the hotel and had free shuttle the next morning. Quality of food for dinner and breakfast was good. I would stay here again.
4.3
Facilities in hotel is nice and clean. But bed is a little too hard. Onsen facilities could also be better equipped with more final touches but generally is okay.
4.3
Nice spacious rooms (perhaps too big), since there seemed to be a lot of wasted room that could have been used for an improved room setup (stayed in room with open air bath). Private open air bath with room didn’t feel that private, but still incredibly relaxing. Highly recommend signing up for breakfast and dinner package options (very good food and limited/no options outside hotel). Frustrated that high price paid did not seem to come with amenities...extra charges for use of swimming pool, ping pong, tennis courts, bus transportation to Otaru, etc. Staff didn’t speak English, but this was a good hotel if looking for a quiet getaway to relax for a few days.

Nice hot spring

We use google translate alot, they need to have english speaking staff.
