Convenient for a short stay. Take your own plates, cutlery & cloth to dry them. Difficult to find if you arrive at night. Would stay again as it's in the ideal location for my short need in Sydney.

Great place to stay for this price in this area

Comfortable rooms, very basic tea/coffee, back room was quite noise to the road. Nothing flash but if you need a place to stay will tick the box. Not particularly close to transport.

No remote for tv or aircon and the tv was totally chinese, asked for change of room because of building next door SAID NO COULDN'T rest in room

Very pleasant stay over Golden Slipper weekend. All sporting venues and city very accessible. The host is lovely. Highly recommended.

just a great location very quiet and clean we had a great stay

My flight from Sydney to Perth got canceled and I was able to book this the day of. Arguably better, and cheaper, than your typical hotel. I was lucky to find this little gem.

Unfortunately the bed was too soft and sagging a little in the middle. The driveway was a nightmare to get out of with that huge tree on the edge.

Toilet being in the bathroom caused some delays.

We had room 2, it was spotlessly clean, the linen was fresh and clean, and had a window that opened. The bathroom is right next door. A nice quiet, conveniently located area.

If you like a good bed and no frills while sharing a bathroom with other guests this is a good place for you. It has good wi-fi and the room heating unit is great. It is not in the bed and breakfast category since there is no breakfast, or anything resembling it. While the room heater is great the place itself is not heated - went at the start of winter and moving around was very cold, especially getting to the bathroom at night. Also cold temp not conducive to hanging out in any other room but your own - contrary to "inviting" spaces shown in the website pictures.

Lovely clean quiet room and comfortable bed. The common areas is tidy and clean. Everything was good.

I don’t know where to begin .. This has to be the worst experience in my life .. And I really hope booking places can take action against such scam , This experiment scarred me for life.. felt like wearing mask again It smells like old wet mouldy Carpet.. Pls don’t fall for reviews of their own people / friends .. I’m actually surprised this place in Australia, and no one has taken action to shut it down for good.. Pls go and smell and check property before booking ..

Nice & quiet, room was pleasant, bed was good. TV didn't work which annoyed, but not a big issue. Allround pretty good.

The property was very congenial. It would be good to have some plates. There was one saucer which was covered in grease. The gutter at the front needs cleaning to stop it overflowing in the rain and making the entrance way wet.

I didn't have a chance to stay at the Guest house. I was notified that there was an issue with the booking. And I was redirected to a different hotel. When I checked in i couldn't believe my own eyes. The place was a very poor quality. Shared bathroom, no locks on the bathroom door. Dirty and smelly. The most disappointing hotel stay experience in my life.

Convenience

It is great if you just need a comfortable bed and a quiet place to sleep. However, the restrictions on the use of the shared facilities including the shower were not ideal for me as I had early starts and late finishes for the job I was in Sydney to do.

The place was water-logged and the room was wet and smelt musty. I cancelled with the owner and have requested a refund from Wotif but you haven't even got the decency to acknowledge my email.
