This is an absolutely shocking rundown hotel from the bedrooms to the spa area .totally rundown hotel , gardens look like they’ve had nothing done to them all year , spa/swimming pool no water to taps in changing rms , locks not wurking in all lockers , tiles missing not enough soup Mats , swimming pool tiles missing , jacuzzi not completely working , paint peeling off the walls . Heads were absolutely shocking woke up with terrible bad back my partner too soooo soft when we both lay on our bed , my partner being taller and heavier than myself I was higher this is how such the marred was.in full heed of a revamp totally not worth the £119 per night .i wouldn’t pay half the price let alone the rice we paid .staff in restaurant too busy talking than serving , there was only 6 people in the restaurant too still had to wait for food , had to ask for sooons for our soup . I wouldn’t book here again please be aware before you attempt to book

Leisure facilities leave a lot to be desired they need a major upgrade.. Food only ok. Rooms very basic.

Room had adjoining room separated by door that was not sound proof at all. It also let in light from the other guests room. So I could tell when the other guest used the bathroom or showered and when the other guest arrived in at 2am my room was lit up from under the door

It was a mini break for 2 nights down the West, hotel is convenient to Ballina, Enniscrone and Foxford. Plenty of parking and staff very friemdly, well run operation breakfast buffet style but food quality is very good. Ate in bar both nights nice atmosphere and again good service and enjoyed our dining experience. Room was spacious overlooking the front garden, lots of shrubbery, very clean, good sleep quality no noise spacious bathroom didnt use the leisure centre which is in separate building. Exterior of building a bit drab could do with an uplift and colour.

A really lovely family hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Quietly situated by the river but still convenient for all the shops, bars and restaurants.

Generally a good stay in a pleasant hotel . Had booked a double room but arrived to find our room had a single bed and a very small double ( made up with just one set of pillows so obviously meant as a second single) lady on reception very helpful but as hotel was full we couldn’t change until the next night and had to leave luggage in reception in the morning and couldn’t use next room until 3pm. Second room was beautiful - just a shame we couldn’t use it during a very wet day outside. Changing rooms in spa very dated and shabby with no locks in locker doors. Toilet doors in make changing rooms didn’t close properly. Leisure complex felt much less well kept than hotel.

Very welcoming nothing was to much trouble .Food was superb highly recommend this hotel we will be going back for another stay

Hotel nice enough, clean and staff friendly. Pipes banging all night, every few mins was enough to drive you up the wall. No lights working in room when we woke up on the Sunday.

2 night stay to attend a local wedding

The staff were great. Would definitely stay there again. Quiet and easy walking distance to town.

The Staff were excellent and friendly nothing too much bother. Our room was in the side elevation with nice views and plenty space . It was very clean and in good order, but I heard a couple complaining about their room in the older part of the hotel, our experience is we lived it and will return . Some people just complain for the sake of it and of what I heard it seemed to be that type of complaint

The hotel must have been quite lovely in its day but now it looks sad and in need of sprucing up. My interactions with staff were limited to those in the reception area. They were friendly and welcoming.

Lovely hotel with great character. Very helpful staff. Great lighting in bedroom. Very comfortable. Spotlessly clean. Beautiful setting with little waterfalls on nearby river visible from inside and outside hotel.

Really enjoyed it. I was late arriving and the Receptionist rang to make sure I was ok and in transit. Once I arrived all the staff I met were really friendly & helpful. I would strongly recommend the Irish Breakfast, a great way to start the day. I will be back :)

Two nights stay to attend a funeral. It was ok. Ireland was still under partial restrictions so not fair to judge too much.

Top notch service from all staff. Very friendly and down to earth. Top job mates. Beautiful location by the river. Nice and quiet. Peaceful nights sleep.

Just had a wonderful four night stay at the Twin Trees hotel. Great location, short walk to Ballina town with access to a good selection of shops, cafes etc. Fantastic park and playground within a very short walk from the hotel. The staff and the owner were so friendly and helpful, food was fantastic! Very family friendly. Overall the hotel was clean but could do with a good deep clean and a good old dusting. Carpet in our room certainly was well used and the hotel generally could do with some updating. The leisure centre was great with two pools and a jacuzzi. Again needs refurbing and a good cleaning. Overall however we had a great stay and really enjoyed it.

The owners clearly work very hard and still find the time to be friendly, particularly welcoming and kind, the lady of the house.

A lovely stay. All staff were very attentive quick and polite. The breakfast was beautiful. In the current situation thr bread could be put in 1 _2 slices in bags. The carpet maybe in time changed but overall loved it. Great atmosphere on the evenings. Grdat

Stayed here last year in between the lockdowns, and again last week for 1 night. Hoping to come back to it, peace away from the busy life, with everything you want right beside you. Lovely swimming pool 1 minute walking away. Beautiful rivers surround the place, the best part.

My stay was very pleasent.The breakfast was excellent.The. Staff were very efficient and friendly. Having known and frequented the hotel 60 years ago, I was so pleased to see a member of the Moylett family back at the helm once more. I wish them every success and would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is in an excellent base from which to explore the surrounding countryside and value for money.

The hotel is attached to a wonderful leisure centre , with pools, saunas, steam room, gym and excercise classes. It is a beautiful, old world, extremely comfortable and beautiful place to stay. Highly recommended.

Such a helpful group of staff. Very well informed and willing to help with anything. The linguine was excellent
