The gave a dirty room full of food boxes and dirty blood stained sheets. Ask for another room and it was worst. So I have to stay outside like 1hour and half until They clean the room.

Room included parking in the parking garage, good breakfast (healthy options) and a nice salt water pool. We stayed in the king sized room. Very nice. Conveniently located near a large mall and lots of restaurants

The hotel was awesome, very accommodating, parking was easy once checked in, lots of restaurants, shopping within walking distance. Breakfast was okay.

Room was humid, wet feeling. Even made our clothes feel wet. TV never worked for the 3 days. Dripping sound woke us up at night in ceiling. Bathroom door would not stay closed. Shower was not very clean.

This is my second time staying here, the first time was nothing like this. Everything was okay until my boyfriend and I were watching a movie and the alarm went off stating that the hotel was on fire and to exit the building. We quickly grabbed whet we could and as we entered the hallway, an elderly woman asked if we could please help her. She had a three little dogs and she said she was very sick so we dropped our bags and took the dogs instead and her, leaving our stuff behind. When we finally got downstairs, a worker or manager apologized and told us it was just a drill and someone at the desk should have alerted us when we checked in which they did not This is completely unacceptable and was frightening to have to deal with this.

it was a nice stay, just that there were areas that were more wear and tear and i wish the pillows were softer. but it was a nice stay.

It’s a nice place to stay, but they charge $10 for parking for no apparent reason. We’re parking in a big mall parking lot. they have a great breakfast in the morning. I guess it’s worth 10 bucks.

The last interaction is usually the most memorable. In this case it was the unexpected $10/day parking fee that was added to my bill at checkout.

We had a terrible experience at the Hyatt Place. When we arrived we were told room cleaning would happen every other day. By the morning of our third day our room still hadn’t been cleaned, but we were told it would be done by the afternoon. When we returned to the hotel that evening our room still hadn’t been cleaned. When we asked about the cleaning or availability of towels the staff were not able to provide an explanation. We asked that they call the manager to find a solution. The Manager suggested that we be given clean sheets to go change the room ourselves. I’m not an individual that complains and this might be my first negative review, but when you pay a premium amount for a hotel the least you can expect is to stay somewhere clean. The pool facilities left us feeling slimy and the water clearly isn’t being treated. I would not recommend this hotel for any reason as there seem to be many options in the area

Clean, wonderful staff. Close to shopping and dining. Basic breakfast buffet but well stocked. Could use a face lift. Very frustrated with parking, even when it's lot parking right in front of the building. Have to pay $10/d because of hotel's rental agreement with Eastwood Complex. No other hotel in East Lansing does this. Other hotels on their property are also paying and at a higher rate. Shame on you Eastwood

It could’ve been a little bit more clean, and the staff could’ve been a lot friendlier at times I found myself standing at the front desk and no one was there. The hotel room could have been cleaner , there was also some sticky substance on the carpet. I will say that the shopping in the general area is amazing. There are restaurants and coffee, shops, and driving and walking distance. The parking is $10 a day to park in the hotel parking structure .I personally would not recommend this hotel if you have other options.

I asked not to be in a room around a number of other guests, given the hotel was notably empty. Five (5) floors of a nearly empty hotel, and she places me next to and down the hall where there was constant hotel doors being opened and slamming shut .... not very considerate or accomodating.
