Clean and safe

The logic in this hotel’s design boggles my mind. The lobby and restaurant are dangerously located amidst angular half steps which the staff tell you constantly to “watch your step”. Our room had the TV backed into the bathroom area with wires and back of tv exposed because the designer was obsessed with a glassed in wet room (which you draw the shades anyway) so there is nowhere for the tv to be mounted in the logical area which is the seating. Very crowded furnishings, extremely tight for two people with luggage. All just trying to be a bit too clever and missing the mark compared to other supposedly assigned 5* hotels we have stayed in. Food at restaurant was average at best for dinner, breakfast was very good.

Don’t arrive too early! We got there at 6am, on a Saturday. Everything was closed, shopping areas and restaurants. They do offer breakfast buffet for an charge. Our room wasn’t ready, and to do early check in we got quoted $230 on top of our already paid for room of $211. They have a comfy lobby but can be very busy and loud. Staff was eventually able to get us into a room at 11:30 without an extra charge. Room was beautiful, dark comfy and fresh. They were able to empty our mini bar fridge to allow us to put our beer and drinks in. The two shopping areas across the street have plenty of restaurants. The fashion drive mall, is massive, tons to shop. The 18th floor has amazing views of their mountains. Sucks you can’t enjoy the view with food or drinks. For some reason the restaurant has a bad Mountain View, and the bar isn’t allowed to serve liquor drinks after 6pm by government law. Make it there before and you’ll be fine. They also had mezcal tasting, where they just put out a bottle and cups by the elevators on your floor. Wish early check in was more available and they had a pool. But the hotel itself is beautiful and staff is great! Definitely would go back.

Lobby is a bit difficult to find - other than that, good room.

The Spa is HORRIBLE!!! Lockers are Elementary!!! The Spa appears crammed and feels tight!! No Relaxation at ALL!!!

1) I stayed at the property a total of 4 nights. They gave 1 tiny bar of soap for the entire stay; 2) the room was dusty 3) I was supposed to receive a bottle of wine and never did I first stayed 3 nights and then had to extend one more night under two separate reservations. They did not honor any of the VIP benefits for either of the seats and when I asked if they could upgrade me they mentioned that they could do so if I paid extra. It is not the first time I go to a VIP hotel and they do not honor Expedia’s claims that there will be a free upgrade if the room is available. In this case it was available and they wanted to charge me for it.

Great attention and follow up with requests.

Everything was excellent specially the service at the restaurant, the captain of the restaurant was always checking on us to see if we were satisfied, everything would have been perfect if on out last night I wouldnt have found a toe nail on the floor, not it wasnt ours :( !

The receptionist lied to me. At first when I asked for an upgrade she said it would be available for an extra charge. When I showed her I had free upgrade she mentioned that it was then not available.

Everyone worker at the hotel and in the restaurant in the hotel is so helpful and friendly. They made us feel so welcome. Wonderful entrance lobby, courtyard, and room. Room is so beautiful and bed is like sleeping on a cloud. Shower and tub are unreal. Amazing stay.

It’s a great hotel and great location and view. Restaurant service is slow and could be more proactive service attitude considering there seems to enough staff but something is not working as 5 star hotel should work.
