Brilliant air b and b. Would definitely recommend superb location 5 minutes to the beach and in the centre of everything. The room had everything you’d possibly need including sky tv and Wi-Fi. Very nice and clean room beautifully renovated looks great. Would definitely come again. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.

Accommodation has been converted to a very high standard from a mid terrace house. Breakfast is provided at a nearby hotel, just a short stroll from the Dolphin Rooms. Very comfortable stay and enjoyable breakfast. Would recommend.

Photos suggest it is more modern and more luxurious than it actually is. Therefore disappointed. Frontage looks lovely, parking was good. On day of arrival checked prices and were showing £64 but we paid £100, Not happy £64 a better price

Hotel was clean. Booked for a double room but got upgraded to a bigger room . Cleaners were polite, knocked before entering the room and asked if we needed anything. Hotel was very convenient just 2 minute walk from seafront. Would book the hotel again.

Absolutely lovely hotel. Both myself and partner cannot praise the hotel enough and will definitely be back again soon.

Parking is shambles, 6 bays but if you park in the first 3 you get instantly blocked in by someone. The sky tv in the room never worked, hotel staff wake you up at 9am by hoovering the corridors or knocking on the door asking to clean. And for one of the days even the wifi was out.

Actually we didn;t stay at the Dolphin Rooms we got upgraded to the hotel which was far better.

Room was comfortable and clean with good amenities. Dolphin rooms are an Annexe to the Dovedale Hotel. The rooms are conveniently located for transport links, town centre and promenade.

Dolphin rooms is basically a converted terraced house in a street behind the owner’s main hotel, it look’s recently converted and the rooms were good condition, clean and warm. There is a real shortage of parking both at the main hotel and on street, with one of our vans getting a parking ticket for no apparent reason while parked on street…. The photos displayed on the hotels.com listing are somewhat confusing as some are of the main hotel and some of the house, we were totally baffled when the satnav brought us to a terraced house and it took a while to work out where to go to check in. Better instructions should probably be given on booking and the photos on the adverts should probably be of the actual accommodation being advertised. All in all fairly happy with our stay…

Everything was spot on can't wait to stop again

Room was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. The only downside was room 35s bed, duvet and pillows need replacing. The bed was so hard and the duvet and pillows lumpy. I would have really enjoyed the stay if the bed wasnt hurting my back. Other than that i would definately stay again. Also the parking isnt great as i had to move my car at 8 30 in the morning when i wanted a chill morning. Had to get dressed leave my daughter in the room . Id maybe park on street next time. But this isnt the hotels fault.

just wanted to be away for a weekend, this room was more than any hotel room, nice and clean, very spacious. close to the beach and good location.

We enjoyed our stay , bedroom small , clean , but we never saw a hoover , stairs carpet dirty and desperately needed hoovering . Breakfast food

Me & my boyfriend stayed at The Dolphin & we loved it, was just what we wanted. A nice, clean simple b&b. The bathroom was very nice as well. When you check in, you have to check in at their other hotel at the Dove Dale hotel first, which is just round the corner. This is because that one has a receptionist desk, the entrance for that one is on Albert Road, the Dolphin doesn't have a reception, but if you need anything you can call them, or pop round to the Dove Dale. We had the bottom floor hotel room at the front of the hotel, it was very quite, didn't here any noise from other guests. Has a kettle, tea, coffee & milk & a decent sized tv! A desk & USB plugs next to the plug sockets were very useful as well, not just your normal plugs! The Dove Dale was really nice in the reception area as well. With lots of pretty interesting things, like pretty lights, and cool animal statues in the seating area! They have a bar at the Dove Dale & restaurant, we didn't go to it though, but it looked nice, they also have an out door seating area. The Dolphin hotel, is a hotel with no reception or bar like the Dove Dale, but I liked that as this made is quiter & if you wanted somewhere busier & louder then you could go there. Friendly staff who also let us keep our bags at the Dove Dale after we had checked out, while we had a wonder round Cleethorpes before we got our train. I would deffo book the Dolphin again also would book the DoveDale! Just what we needed for a quiet weekend away.

It was convinient but parking is a challenge

I was put in the main hotel rather than the annex building and the room fittings were a bit older but still fine. The staff were fantastic and the room quiet and comfortable . I would stay here again in a heartbeat .

me and a friend came to stay for the night on a last minute booking, we were very pleased with the facilities and enjoyed a great night sleep! The hotel is very close to the sea front which was really helpful as we only had to walk across the road so we could come back and forth as we pleased and it's very central to shops and places to eat!

Stayed here for our 13th Wedding Anniversary, great room, clean, spacious, quiet and perfectly located. Couldn't have had a more enjoyable stay, will definitely be here again in the future. The staff were superb too, thank you for everything A*****

Nice appartment close to hotel . Lovely breakfast and service. Was limited parking so decided to stay in public car park at end of street which was cheap. Would stay again, easy access to all amenities

we were in the Dolphin rooms, apart from the main hotel, the room was clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast was fine and served quickly. the receptionist could not have been more helpful as we did have difficulty finding the location and when I eventually found it she went out of her way to make sure we knew where to park our car

The lady who checked us in was the only positive thing I have to say. She was lovely & professional & my little girl took a little shine to her. She made an effort to come over & say hello to my baby as she kept smiling at the lady (I can’t remember her name unfortunately) When we got inside the room the floor was all dirty & there were a few hairs/bits on the bed. I asked the lady at reception if she could get someone to hoover the room as it clearly hadn’t been done & she apologised & got it sorted straight away. When we got back to the room it had been hoovered. Upon closer inspection the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned either but I just couldn’t be bothered to moan. There was a long black hair in the sink. All the toilet cupboard doors were all dusty & the shower screen was all mucky & the outside of the shower ledge was all dusty & grimey so clearly not been cleaned properly. I’m very disappointed with our room (31) & would definitely not stay again. As I said before the lady who checked us in was lovely & is a credit to the company.

The room had everything you needed but a bit more attention to cleaning as there was cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and a couple of mussy peas under the bed
