Lovely host, beautiful room (honeymoon suite). Great location to walk to the main street in Franschoek. Nice area to sit outside by the pool. Loved it!

We were warmly met by Johannes at reception. My partner wanted to have her hair done and that was organised by Belinda using her regular hairdresser for the following morning. Helpful recommendations for restaurants. Location is perfect for a quick walk up to the main street where everything is located. Rooms beautifully finished and very comfortable with all you could need. Lovely pool with loungers and comfortable chairs to enjoy the view and sunshine. Highly recommend this gem in Franschoek.

Beautiful little guesthouse in a prime location just off the Main Street in Franschhoek. Wonderful stay made to feel at home from the moment I arrived, very enjoyable breakfasts with plenty of choice. Some of the best nights sleep I have had in a long time

We had a great stay at Mont d'Or! The staff was very accommodating and welcoming. It was the perfect short walk from the wine tram and town. We would recommend this stay to family and friends for sure!

We enjoyed our stay here. It was a lovely room , bed and sheets wonderful, sitting area, bathroom- all beautifully decorated. The pool and sitting /breakfast area outside as well were stunning and comfortable. Breakfast was perfect with coffee, a caraf of juice, - a table to the side with cereal and yogurt, cheeses, smoked salmon, figs etc and then a hot breakfast offered of toast, any style of egg, bacon ,sausage ,tomatoe, mushrooms . I did not like or enjoy a 10 o'clock check out. I don't remember a 10 o'clock check out anyplace or anywhere at anytime. We had packed and were mostly ready to do a check out when we sat down for breakfast and we checked out at 10 as requested- I hadn't read the 10 o'clock departure line on the reservation ... so it caught us by surprise the cleaning up at breakfast and wind down - as we enjoyed our food... That's fine- it's done- but when we're on vacation on Saturday morning I would probably have enjoyed that extra half hour.

Great location near wine tram and shopping district. Staff very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was a tasty feast.

I had a great short solo stay. Everybody was so friendly and courteous. The breakfast was delicious. The property is beautiful & quaint. It is incredibly conveniently located as it is walking distance from the Wine Tram.

It was exactly what we required for one day and evening. Really all we required. Very nice indeed

Amazing stay. Such a lovely place. Quiet and relaxed, but only a few minutes walk from the city center with all it had to offer. Management and staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and well appointed.

The Host was very welcoming, she wasn’t sure about the keys and what was used to lock doors etc. Many times we were locked out the front house section, one guest walked into all the rooms trying to find the main door The room has the most incredibly noisy fridge that kept us up all night.

Excellent location. Breakfast and pool area lovely. Beware of 2 rooms on street at front of hotel. Small, bit noisy and light coming in through glass panel of door from street lighting. Rooms at back of guest house over looking garden and pool much nicer. Had a lovely stay here.

A nice little place that is in the centre of town.Staff are helpful and friendly. The room is lage and comfortable and clean. Good breakfast. Alsi good wifi connection.

Nice stay, very central to all attractions. Stayed in the family/honeymoon room. The room is very large. Only negatives are that it was very cold in the room. The air-conditioner was unable to heat up this large room. May be invest in another type of heat source for room and switch on before guests arrive. The shower has no curtain or door resulting in a real wet mess on the outside. Apart from this two issues the stay was excellent.
