The Prime Energize is my number one choice for Monte Gordo. No disrespect to the area, but this hotel is far superior to most of the other hotels in Monte Gordo. Very good restaurant and spa.

Nice Hotel. Just the town is not very interesting. Nice for biking and sports and walking.

Every staff member was really friendly and always had a warm friendly smile from the cleaners in the morning to the restaurant and bar workers. Joao the restaurant manager could'nt do enough for us. We had an infant with us and he was soo helpful and kind to us, as were all the staff members. This made a big difference to our stay. The rooms were clean

The Prime Energize is one of the best hotels in the whole of the Algarve. It is comfortable, stylish, priced well, and in a great location. Fuel is a very good restaurant for any meal; breakfast was especially good. For me, a good night's sleep is the most important aspect of my stay. My room was spacious, quiet and the mattress and linen were outstanding -- Portuguese cotton sheets no doubt.I have already booked my next stay. I'd also like to comment about Catarina at reception; she made me feel welcome and provided lots of good tips for my time in Monte Gordo -- a very unpretentious and attractive town.

Breakfast was superb, lots of choice including freshly squeezed orange juice. Friendly helpful staff. Big room and nice products to use in the bathroom.

The location of the property is without question ideal but the rooms that are in front have a rather load road- particularly at night.

Wellness was the hotel’s motto with free gym classes every day Didn’t like the lack of parking

The staff were fantastic, so helpful, polite and friendly , excellent breakfast food choice and marvellous service in the restaurant . The hotel is lovely and is the perfect location for the beach and there are loads of nice cafes and restaurants within a short walk . I will definitely be returning

The room was big and spacious, clear and well presented. I went away with my partner for a couple of days without child, I’m sure I said I wanted a double bed room. Got two single beds side by side not the most comfortable beds in the heat of the moment or when trying to relax next to one another.

Decor was really lovely, everything was really clean, bed was super comfy, roof top pool was great, made use of the relaxing spa facilities, breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Gostei de tudo! Localização, serviço, simpatia dos funcionários e basicamente a limpeza. Sem dúvida a voltar.

Didn't like the noise of the food transportation to the hotel during the night. The vans parked near the room and they didn't stop the engines

The facility is very nice, especially the restaurant and the staff. We stayed four days. The soap, shampoo, coffee, etc. were not replenished though there upon arrival. The hotel was two blocks from the beach so views are not great. Monte Gordo itself is minutes from the Spanish border to the East and is fine if you want quiet, with primarily families and seniors. We cruised the Algarve and would rather have been in Lagos or Albufeira which offer more activities and dining options.

Exceptionally good hotel - very helpful and friendly staff, comfortable room, great cocktails, good reasonable priced restaurant, delicious buffet breakfast, massages at the spa (very relaxing), sea view balcony and roof terrace swimming pool. What more could you ask for??! We highly recommend this hotel and are planning to return again soon. Even if we hadnt left the hotel we would still have had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing break. Location good too - short walk to nice beach.

Loved it! Great location, short walk to beach, restaurants & shopping. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Terrific breakfast, very clean quite room. Nice rooftop pool too.

There are no transfers from/to the airport available. It stated that they provided tea & coffee facilities in the room and they don't. We asked if we could have this added to our room and the receptionist said no. There is a lack of hotel information in the room e.g. no welcome pack, in of about the area nor about room service. The information on the TV is very basic. Overall the breakfast was good, fresh and plenty except one day the scarmbled eggs were green and grey. One night my mother wanted to stay in and we asked the restaurant if they could make her a cheese sandwich so she take it up to her room. They said no as it was agansit the law to serve food not shown on the menu. However, there is room service on the information on the TV. We returned to the room to find that there was no room service menu. Very quiet and felt safe in this location. The beach was only a couple of streets away. This hotel is located in Monte Gordo and San Antanio is a 10 minute bus ride away.
