The hotel is located in a great, central downtown Pittsburgh location. The entrance is secure (room key or buzzed in), and the room was very spacious and clean. Exercise equipment was provided, but my stay was too short to enjoy it.

The room was fantastic! It was very comfortable, roomy and well designed. Checkin was easy and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. Yoga and exercise equipment were provided in the room. Parking was across the street and very reasonable for 24 hours. The bathroom was also well designed with amenities.
We would highly recommend this hotel in a great location to restaurants, waterfront, walking path and businesses.

Great downtown location. Room was spatulas and very comfortable. It had some gym equipment like a yoga mat. Gym was decent. The hotel is a bit weird in that it occupies the 5/6 floor of a building but other than that it was good. Breakfast was reasonably priced. Hotel was close to sport venues and some restaurants with a brief walk. Not great for nightlife from what we saw.

EVEN Hotel is very nice. Clean, quiet, and the staff couldn't be more helpful. However, though it is listed as "pet friendly" it really isn't. This hotel is on the 5th floor of the former Kaufman's building, (I believe it was Kaufman's), which was a little disconcerting at first. As I said, the hotel itself is only the 5th floor so it feels a little bit hidden. Pay attention to the signage when you first arrive because there is nobody there to welcome you until the elevator opens on the 5th floor. Anyway, taking the dog outside in downtown Pittsburgh where there is no green space unless you walk a few blocks is rough. Our pup needs some greenery to complete his "tasks" and that would have meant walking him downtown at night. Lest readers think this is a reflection on the hotel itself, it isn't. It's actually quite nice. It's just not a set up well for pets.

Was able to book a last-minute stay after Omni Penn gave our reservation away when our flight was delayed. The check-in staff were friendly and helpful.
Parking is in a garage right down the street and easily accessible. Great location, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go as well as easily get to the river trails to run in the morning.
The room was large and comfortable. Even had some workout gear in it like yoga mat, rollers, and arm bands. We did use the gym on the last day due to our early flight. Gym was spacious and clean with plenty of options for the two of us.
Our only "gripes" were how slow the elevators were. We'd much rather take the stairs anyway but it looked like all the stairs were emergency exits. But we felt like the elevators were painfully slow.
Other "gripe" is how early the bar closed. I think we went about 9pm on a Tuesday and it was already dark. Kinda early for a hotel bar in our opinion.

I was overcharged for my stay, and when I called to inquire about it, the front desk manager mocked me and I had to go to the management company. They admitted their mistake (they didn't modify my reservation when I asked them to when checking in) but refused to help and eventually I had to go through my own credit card company for a resolution.

Everything was great, one thing to note though is that Expedia says check-in 'ends anytime' but the hotel says check-in ends at 11p. So if you're going to be later than that call them!

Big thank you to Tanner the bartender an asset to the Even hotel.Made my trip..Breakfast cold at times .Food menu limited not worth the prices they charge.Thanks to Richard ,Romana and Jordan on reception..
They have sandwiches to buy and it takes days to replace them.Bar was closed one night as a female bartender could not make her shift....AGAIN!!! Not even the manager stepped in to keep it open..
Guests came second best. I wont stay here again!! But Tanner and the other staff made my stay

Hotel was nice. Front desk was great. AC worked awesome. Check in was not good. Front desk did all they could to accommodate the situation and commented on being short staffed. Was there before check in time of 3P. Was able to get room at 5.45 is after extensive intervention of the front desk. I cant say it enough, the front desk was awesome. They did a great job of handling the pile of garbage they were handed and had to deal with.

This is a quiet hotel located on the 5th floor of a building. The rooms were big with a big window. The bathroom was also very confortable. Is has a parking lot just across the street which makes it very convenient. It's a the center ok the city and you can walk around. there are many restaurants as well as historic buildings and nice places to have a drink around... not needing to use your car. I really liked the place. I would definitely go back
