Overall the stay and place was fine. Food was really good although breakfast eggs could have been softer. Room and atmosphere good it’s a very good location for my work. I only have a couple of issues which are simple fixes. Shelf in the bathroom for my toiletries, bigger TV as the one in the room had a broken speake which affected the sound

This is a beautifully restored very old property. The accommodations were spotless and well appointed and very comfortable. The staff was second to none in terms of customer service and being helpful. The breakfasts were outstanding, and my myself and my friends had dinner here both nights during my stay. The food and service were excellent. I highly recommend the White Hart if you need local accommodations in this area.

Arrived, met by friendly staff, shown to room and everything explained. Booked in for evening meal and what excellent value and service this was, waited a little but cooked well and worth the wait. Breakfast was outstanding and the staff could not do enough to make our stay great, will be using them again no doubt at all.

Very warm welcome after a long journey. So appreciated. Travelling alone the staff were genuinely friendly and took the time to take an interest in me. Moved me to a quieter room without me even asking as they had a xmas party on. Food was absolutely amazing for evening meal and breakfast. Lovely room. Very comfortable bed. Quite small but extremely cosy and warm. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

After arriving fairly late (9pm) the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. They allowed me to order some food although they had already closed the kitchen which was great, and the food was superb. I had to be up and out very early so the staff kindly made me up a sandwich and snack bag as I would miss breakfast. I did struggle to sleep initially as I could here music from downstairs until past midnight but once I fell asleep it was great.

Very clean and cozy room with super friendly staff. Although it’s located above a pub, didn’t hear anything in the room and pub closes well before our bedtime, so wasn’t a problem at all.

The room we had was immaculate (4) eith a super king and luxurious bathroom.
Staff were super friendly and looked after us and our dogs really well.
Breakfast was to a hugh standard and their diggy meals were a hit.

We just returned from a 2 night stay and had the most wonderful experience, We were meant to stay in another accomodation locally which we cancelled on check-in due to issues with the property.
We popped in for a drink and asked if they had any free rooms which luckily for us they did, they were the most helpful & wounderful owners and staff they made everything as easy as possible for us as we had 2 young children and we didnt have a room for the night at this point.
The room was wounderful with a very comfortable bed, the most wounderful deep soak roll top bath and the breakfast is amazing.
Will definitely stay here again.
I also have to mention Rowan who was working at the bar and at breakfast is an absolute credit to the hotel who helped us with everything.

Excellent. An extremely dog friendly hotel. And of those in which we have stayed which allow pets it is the most boutique and comfortable. All the staff were faultless - very helpful, friendly and professional. We will go again when we are looking for a hotel in this area.

Had a fantastic stay at the White Hart. The room was excellent with great facilities. The food was superb and the kitchen accommodated for some special requests. The staff went above and beyond to make guests happy, whether waiting staff or bar staff. When I asked about local running routes, the guy that checked me in asked me what distance and proceeded to plot a route and print me a map. Unbelievable level of customer service!

Beautifully refurbished rooms, very friendly staff, and great food. Some noise from the bar/garden - as you would expect from an Inn - but very quiet after closing time, with a very comfy bed. Great value.
