No loo roll in room-loo roll holder smashed off the wall. Were told there was a night porter, but car alarm in carpark kept going off for HOURS in the early hours of the morning

We got there later than we would have liked but check in was simple, staff were friendly enough. We were in the room literally just to sleep, no more than about 9hrs so was okay.
The room was not greatly cleaned, dirty socks from previous people under the bed, sink had toothpaste in etc but for how long we were in it, it didn't matter that much to us.

A very reasonable hotel if staying in Telford. The rooms were clean and the restaurant provides a good selection of different foods and drinks choices.

They sold out of the family room we booked and instead of giving us a double bed they put us in a room with 2 twin beds and told they cant help us because we are staying there three nights and they have other in coming bookings for the following days. There is also no lift and luggage assist trolleys. No mini fridge and no iron. Cleaning only happens upon check out for a 3 day booking.

We got locked out of the room every single day we stayed there. The key cards will just not work. There was a day we stayed outside the hotel past midnight before getting access to our room. Apart from the issue with the key cards everything else was great.

Firstly I requested two rooms to be close to each other and did not expect to be on different floors and nowhere near each other !, also when I checked in I was told the payment card had been rejected and I know this not to be true as I made two bookings with Expedia and both bookings made were made with the same payment card and it was not nice to be asked for the payment and told that I was lucky that the rooms were not allocated to someone else as payment made and had not been authorised by using other forms of payment… plus no one from either the Fallow field or Expedia have contacted me to ask for confirmation payment, very bad service and would probably not stop here again due to this issue

Friendly staff and good room, booked the room at the last minute (30 mins before arrival!) and the key was already ready when I got to the reception (in the pub). Only downside was being woken by guests in another room during their late check in.

Check-in was easy at the reception desk inside the pub. The room was basic, no decoration to speak of but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Value-for-money-wise, all was good.

Sadly the reception staff were particularly unhelpful after they had cancelled my travelling companion’s booking. We were told many lies about their mistake and they refused a full refund to my friends. They totally refused me a refund so I had to stay on my own. They were unreasonable and unapologetic.

It should be made very clear that there is no in-person reception at the hotel. Only when attempting my check-in did I discover from a sign outside the previous reception area that check-in must now be carried out at the associated pub/restaurant opposite.
In addition, the web site posted telephone number, which has a Telford area code, in reality links to a comms centre situated somewhere else. I was told that I would be redirected to the hotel. But no one picked up my call. I now understand that this redirection was in fact to the pub/ restaurant reception desk. On a Sunday afternoon this was very busy and no one answered my call. All very frustrating.

Easy online check-in no problem getting our key on arrival. Our room was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. The staff are so polite and very helpful. Breakfast was amazing and reasonably priced.This is our second time staying at the Fallow Field and we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

As we were getting ready for bed another family came into our room, unfortunately we just didn’t settle or sleep well after that. When I tried to call the number we were given we got no answer so had to walk to the pub to find out what was happening.
Room was big, we liked that it was a single bed not a sofa bed. Pretty clean but tired in areas. Staff were friendly and helpful.
