I stayed at the Sofitel for 3 nights with my partner while visiting Mexico City for the first time on holiday. Our stay was absolutely perfect from check in to check out. The hotel itself is beautiful architecturally, and maintained very well. The pool and restaurants/bars are stunning spaces. We stayed on the 24th floor, but I imagine every room offers a view of the city. Staff were so friendly, and attentive. Housekeeping provided an amazing service daily, and made us feel pampered. The hotel is right next to the Angel of Independence which is particularly spectacular at night. We walked most places which I'd say requires sharp attention to avoid trip hazards on sidewalks, and navigate crowds, but otherwise we felt safe in terms of crime walking in Juarez, Reforma, Roma Norte, Condesa, etc. Uber is very convenient and reliable as well. All in all, I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel if you ever have the opportunity!

Amanda at the front desk, Uriel with concierge, Brandon our driver and Enrique at the Balta restaurant were just WONDERFUL, first rate, incredibly kind and personalized every experience! The hotel is gorgeous and every part of our experience, the restaurants, our room were just fantastic. It’s close to everything using Uber and we will definitely be returning!

Excellent customer service all around. We highly recommend staying here, we will definitely be back!

Amazing hotel experience. Will stay here every time we come to Cdmx. Cannot recommend it enough! Staff is always on point and super kind, rooms are clean and large and comfortable. Concierge is extremely helpful. Restaurants and bars are great. Massage at the spa was excellent!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Sofitel. The location is conveniently situated nearby restaurants, parks, and museums.

We loved everything about this beautiful hotel, including its convenient location, restaurants, and professional staff.

Everything about the service and our experience was flawless. The breakfast was superb, the rooftop bar was wonderful and the pool on the 38th floor very relaxing. A big thank you to all the team for making our 21st anniversary stay so memorable.

Overall a great experience! This was our 2nd stay & it did not disappoint. The staff & service were all 5 star. We were even given an upgrade to the view of the Angel of Independence. Staying here definitely was a great way to end our trip in the most relaxing way. Worth every penny! My only compliant would be that the pool titles around the edge of the pool were broken off & the buttons for the jets & water fountain didn't work - other than that the hotel is in great condition

We received a warm welcome from the staff at Sofitel and we appreciated the recommendations from Gina at the front desk. The spacious and clean room was such a nice retreat to come back to after a long day of exploring. We can’t wait to come back!

Bad service. Just to give 2 quick examples, When we arrived after check in time, only 2 of three rooms were ready...we were told the third room would be ready 2 hours later. Additionally, since we had early flights we requested early breakfast for 5am which they confirmed they could provide, it was 5.30 and we were still waiting for breakfast, when we called they sent up a very sorry version of breakfast of two slices of bread, cheese and ham that was pretty obvious was put together in haste. There are so many wonderful options for hotels in Mexico City, based on their service alone, I would note recommend this hotel.

I stayed at Sofitel in Mexico city over Easter, and I couldnt have been happier with this hotel. The rooms and facilities where great, and the staff was super friendly and extremely service minded.
