Dont have transport from Engelberg Train Station to hotel. Very hard walk with bags along the snowy rain on the road.

Service was a little mess about replacing foods after 9h.

As said in the previous comments (but yet the hotel's fault though), it's mostly a gravel path to get to the hotel (10-12 min walk from the train station). We didn't mind since we had packed light, but keep that in mind if you have a lot/heavy luggage.

Clean and good size room. Good view from balcony too. Breakfast is simple but sufficient. A walk fr the train station but we didn't mind. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was really good..

Restaurant was excellent. We met the chef earlier in the day and inquired about fondue. Although not on the menu, he made it for us Rooms are clean and adequate. They have a nice view of the village.

The hotel appears to cater to the winter season. They are terribly understaffed and should not be open. Proximity to the train station is not good. The hotel is up a hill and you must walk through a gravel path to get there. Taxi's are not readily available in the summer. The hotel has no sauna or coffee bar as they advertise. For the price, book at the Terrace where you get the quality you pay for.

Clean, quiet, very helpful receptionist, very good food at the hotel restaurant, very professional waiters, 10 minutes walk to the train station, beautiful view.

The rooms was comfortable, clean and the house owner very friendly. The location was a bit distance from the attractions in Rome, overall had a good rest here.

the apartment has steps going down had problem carrying luggage to the entrance.

Manager was very rude and unhelpful and even her own staff complained about her. Rooms were very old and looked nothing like the pictures. No help with information regarding the hotel, even holding back on telling us about the NYE menu and fireworks display on their actual building. Not value for money.
