Prachtige locatie aan noordzijde van het meer met mogelijkheid om lekker te zwemmen. Ook al voor inchecken of na uitchecken.
Kamers zijn erg eenvoudig, maar voldoen.

Located directly at the lake (Vierwaldstattersee), our room was only 10 m from the waterfront. The room was very nice and towels were provided. The shared bathroom was nice and clean with a very comfortable shower. The host was super helpful and friendly.
The bed could have been a bit more comfortable, but for one (or two) night(s) not such a problem.
It's quite steep to get from the road/parking down to the reception and rooms, it would be good to indicate this clearly for less able people perhaps.

Awesome. Right on the lake. Couldn’t have asked for a better location. I was a bit paranoid about the shared bathroom (my hostel days are behind me) but the communal areas were very clean and there are many of them so I never had to wait for a shower/ toilet. We had a quadruple room and it came with a basin (very handy). Ten out of ten.

Great location. Right next to the lake although you need to park at the top and it is quite a walk down a steep hill. We arrived by ebike and could charge the bike in a locked shed near the road. Very friendly place and only one group staying there so it wasn't too noisy. Super breakfast.
We hadnt realised that you have to pre book an evening meal and there is no other choice. Arrived late (7pm) and the food was finished and anyway we hadnt booked a meal. If you want to eat there, remember to do this as it is in a location with no restaurants.

I liked the staff, they helped to lift the suitcase to the third floor, very friendly hosts. they know a little Russian, delicious and hearty breakfasts, there are fruits, yogurts, a lake

the late checkin instruction weren’t clear and had a bit of struggle at night. although🇨🇭 doesn’t have harsh summers, it’s hard to sleep during a hot night these days even if it means higher prices.

The location and the view of this place is wonderful.
I slept in one of the Heidi rooms and I just felt like Heidi myself.
Everything you need is there. Its a great place.
I only stayed one night and I didnt bring my swim suit to jump into the lake....next time!

there are many flies in both bedroom and dining room. We have to take out all bed sheets and pillow cases and put in a bin before check out.

First time in a hostel. The location is right on a lake with free access to kayaks (need new paddles) trampoline, ping pong tables, play area. It is a young person's dream. It was swarming with teens and 20 somethings. The owners had a charming hippie vibe but still kept things clean and running professionally.
Oof the climb to parking is not for anyone out of shape or handicapped. Pack light. We had to use sleeping bags on our bed because linens and pillowcases were not provided, but the property let us know that beforehand.
