The location is OK to visit the old town taking a tram. The breakfast is quite good and varied, and they serve fresh juice! Quite clean in general. The lady at the hotel and the girl at the reception very friendly.

The room is definitely small for common standards and (in my case) unnecesary items that difficult to move inside. In addition, you clearly hear the other guests in their room. I didn't like the router connection, with a lot of cables thrown on the floor. The decoration of the hotel It is definitely old fashion and peculiar, but I do believe this makes this hotel different than others, and I like that. Lastly, you are forced to leave the key of the room at the reception desk when you go out... They say for 'security reasons' but it was quite shocking for me. I have never been asked to do this, ever, in any other accommodation!

Easy to get to the train station, with a tram stop right outside the door. Owner Manfred welcomed me warmly, warning that his last room was the smallest, and tiny it was, with a tiny bathroom, but clean, and it had what I needed. Excellent breakfast in the morning, with pastries, fresh berries, salmon and charcuterie, cheeses, anything to make anyone happy.

I reserved the double room for my friends who are a couple. They're satisfied with everything of the stay in the hotel.

There is a nice view from the double room to the Rhine. Nonetheless, it faces the side where the metro drives though. My friends told me that it was completely quiet with door to the balcony and window completely closed, I'm not quite sure whether that's really the truth or they just wanted me to have no worry about it.

The staff was great, very friendly. The breakfast was plentiful, and the dining area very nice. Location was great. Balcony overlooking a park. I liked the old elevator :)

Good/bad, there's streetcar stop right outside, which is convenient, but also provides for a bit of noise...and rowdy young groups on a weekend night. Not the hotel's fault, just something to be aware of. The bed was practically low end IKEA. The room was small, not that it mattered much, but for the price, I was expecting something a bit bigger. The rooms also are a bit noisy, with wooden floors. I would suggest two things: Get really good/nice beds since the room is small, and soundproof the room, with some carpets maybe? I think those two things would get me to an 8 with my rating.

Kind and helpful staff, good location. Everything is close by walk. It is on halfway between downtown and Lanxess Arena. A lot of fruits for breakfast. Interesting interior design.

It is no problem just a fact: there is still key for the room. I missed the air conditioner when it was 30 degrees outside.

As I was the only guest having breakfast on the day, staff was really accomodating and prepared light version to have at hotel, before I left to airport, plus couple of sandwiches I could take with me. Hotel easy to find, located pretty much in walking distance to sightseeing points and public transport. Very friendly staff.
