I reserved 2 rooms One room Wasn’t made after the previous occupant left so they had to give me another room on a different floor so my party ended up being in 2 different floors when we were supposed to be close to each other but other than that overall the hotel was clean staff was nice

The pullout couch had a torn corner and a stain that took up half of the couch. Also the hotel is advertised as having sound proof rooms but I could hear the highway all the time.

Room was very good. Hotel says changes towels and sheets every day, but was sporadic during my week's stay, which is fine. Every 3 or 4 days would be good, since that is what I do at home. Breakfast was good, but monotonous, scrambled eggs and patty sausage every day. Would like a little more variety occasionally, maybe biscuits and gravy? Potatoes? Etc. One complaint, the knives, forks, and spoons were placed in the baskets with the eating side up, so people had to touch the eating sides (and maybe touch a number of utensils). Recommend placing the eating side down.

This hotel was located in a safe neighborhood with PLENTY of easily walkable food options. The staff is very present and attentive in a genuine way. The hotel is very clean, the hotel breakfast is well maintained with a lot of options (not a lot of gluten free options). There is a clean, well equipped fitness room. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Bathrooms also spacious with shower amenities (including a medical shower bench that can be folded down into the Edgeless shower when needed. The walls also have support handles built into the design. The entire look is a well thought out modern vibe.
3 things:
1. They hit you with a $135 “incidentals” deposit at check-in, claiming it will be returned within 2 business days after check out. Waiting on mine.
2. The doors are loud, they close automatically and slam with a bang. So that can be heard throughout the night. Would be good if signage and staff encouraged people to not allow their doors to slam behind them.
3. Not a lot of gluten-free options at breakfast (eggs and sausage only, everything else is cereal, muffins, breads, waffles)

Most Laquinta’s I’ve stayed in are pretty nice and well built. This one seems to have cut some corners on flooring and trim. The mattress was very cheap and not at all comfortable. There no extra blankets in the room. My husband left his toothbrush at home, he went to the front desk for one. They had none. I’ve never been to hotel that didn’t have toothbrushes for sale at least. The breakfast was ok but the milk was in a carton and I could see it was 4 days past the expiration date. I won’t stay at this location again. It’s in a great location - looks nice on the outside and the lobby looked good. But there are better hotels in the same area.

After a very long day and after filling out forms for a super quick check in via e-mail, I still had to present my ID and credit card because it seemed they thought they had already checked me in to the room. So I had to wait for the desk clerk to manually check the room before I could get a key. The room itself was strange - no window view the parking lot and a very bright light.

There was a lot of hair in my room and i wasnt going to make it a big issue but the store manager of this place is a complete b word! I communicated with the front clerk abt extending my stay and she stated i would have to pay a seperate deposit. So i went to look for somewhere else to stay because the la quinta in my home town dnt require a deposit and they never even told me abt a deposit until i checked my bank statement. So the gm lady comes and starts provoking and antagonizing me instead of positive intent and asking whats going on. She was very rude and even walked up on me as if she was going to attack me. I am a grown man, and had i even flinched at her she would have been ready to call the cops. Please train that woman on class, polish and what it means to assume positive intent. Disgusting, despicable and trashy leadership on her behalf!

Cheap place to stay. Rooms were decent but the hallway smelled like dog piss for some reason. Almost barfed. Shower had a hair strand or two from previous occupants.

The A/C units are extremely loud, the staff are unprofessional, one room they gave me to try hadn't been cleaned after the last person checked out. Wouldn't cancel my reservation and issue a refund.

The elevator was broken. The woman at the desk was a little rude. They charge $100 refundable deposit which they never did before. The window was broken, you could hear cars from the freeway and cars speeding down the road at night time. We have come when we want a night away from the kids and we like it because the beds are super comfortable it’s just been the last couple stays have been not so great.

We found bed bugs in our room and had to check out before midnight. Staff said they could guarantee the hotel doesn’t have begs to which I showed them pictures. Staff said they could not guarantee a refund but would switch us rooms. Due to the exposure of bed bugs we had to drive two hours home to go through all of our clothes and belongings. I called the hotel several times today to speak with the manager and was told I would get a call after 1pm. I called again at 5 and the front staff member said the manager was not able to speak and to reach out Expedia to get my refund. Many items were left behind due to our quick departure and nothing was offered for our inconvenience.

The air conditioner in my room didn't work and there was a spring in my bed that wasn't where it was supposed to be so it was jabbing me in the back all night. And when I went to check out at 5:30 in the morning the lady just told me that I was good and I continued to get text messages all day about checking out.

The room was small. The bathroom was very small. The ice machine was broken. The entire hotel had an unpleasant smell. The outside of the shower contained what looked like mold. The front doors only opened halfway.

We used to stay here all the time for trips to Columbus. We haven’t been in a few years and it has gone way down hill. The rooms weren’t super clean. We had to change rooms upon arrival as there was a roach in our first room in the pull out bed. All other hotels were full so we settled for a different room. It was cleaner than the first but was in disrepair. There were wires that weren’t covered coming from the wall. There were also flood lights outside of our window that left our room glowing even with all of the shades drawn. Will definitely not choose to stay here again.

This was a very disappointing stay. I paid to check in early and to my surprise a different guess was given my room and attempted to enter at 8:26pm. They apparently gave me the wrong room. The room I was given had dust in places that a short person wouldn't see. Add those issues to the inflated price and it was a horrible one night stay. The front service people seemed to be unsure and lacked training.
