All good but a very small bathroom the shower was a struggle

The initial attraction is the free parking as several hotels wanted £60 per night per vehicle. The room rates were good. Restaurant and bar prices were very reasonable and full English breakfast was excellent. Check in was easy and all staff were excellent; friendly, helpful and efficient. The location is ideal for the docks and to walk into the city nightlife and shops. The rooms were small and the toilet and shower room was tiny. We were only there for 2 nights so bearable. The thing that annoyed me most was the number of emails and notifications that I received after booking, wanting additional details for other group members and several reminders about group booking policies. I think they were concerned that we might have been a stag or hen party, which they don't allow. For a short, budget stays the Dolby is very good. If the room is an important consideration then maybe its not for you. The room was clean however and staff were great.

Bathroom is very very small, shower head fixed to roof, there was a shower cap, but because the space is so compact, not idea for anyone over a medium size. The bed wasn't even a bed very uncomfortable as no flexibility as its a matress on a platform, never seen this before and very small double, wish I had a tape measure. Liverpool is an amazing city was here for 3 nights, and when staying in a hotel you look for a comfortable bed and decent shower, Both very very dissapointing. Wouldn't have thought a hotel of any sort would be allowed to class what they have as a bed.

Very clean and a comfortable bed, good value for money but very small and the bathroom was tiny.

Nice simple hotel within a 10/20 min walk of Albert Dock and City Centre. Hotel and room was more than adequate, staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend and book again.

Staff lovely and place very clean, rooms very small and basic. Bed uncomfortable and not a full sized double. Shower was like a trickle. but overall hotel was fine for a budget

Tiny capsule bathroom isn’t ideal, and lack of storage, but fine for a couple of nights. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great budget hotel, used for overnight stay before cruise, rooms smallish but not really an issue - Bart in the bar and restaurant was very helpful - would recommend

One night stay with my son. Great location, close to bars and pubs, with great choice of places to eat at the nearby docks. Check in was easy, with friendly staff. Hotel was clean throughout. Room and bathroom were small, but good enough for a single night. Breakfast was decent and would certainly be happy to stay here again if needing somewhere near the city centre.

This was a nice hotel although rooms are compact - think cruise ship cabins. Location was great and walkable. We managed to get in all the sights on foot. Breakfast wasn’t good at all. Not sure what was in the sausages. There is McDonald’s opposite which is where we ended up the following morning. Hotel has an EV charger and with an Octopus Electroverse card is 30p/kw which is cheaper than the 69p using the EVBox app. Plenty of general parking

Great location, comfy room, quiet, friendly and helpful staff. Much better and cheaper than the Premier Inn down the road. The restaurant shuts at 8, but you can order Uber Eats and eat in the restaurant.

Comfortable clean room.friendly staff on reception & friendly cleaners. Decent size car park which is very useful as I always drive to Liverpool. Easy check in as well. I’ve stayed here many times & never had any problems.

The staff is amazing! The property was clean and comfortable. Great walking distance to the Docks. A quick miie walk to the Cavern Club and surrounding food and drink establishments were just a few blocks away. Did I say what an amazing staff they have? 😊

Room was very very tiny toilet was an airplane size toilet with a shower and was very itchy did not enjoy my stay at all

The Dolby is convenient for the sights, Albert dock etc all in walking distance. Hotel had everything we needed free parking, comfortable room, bar and breakfast all good quality . It was the staff that went the extra mile that completed the visit thank you all

Great position with free parking. Easy walk into town. Rooms were ok, the ensuite was tiny with a shower curtain which kept sticking to you as there wasn’t much room.

Had another good stay at The Dolby Hotel. This is the second time we have stayed there, it’s ideal for us as it’s not far from the ferry terminal to the Isle of Man. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. The size of the shower cubicle could be a problem for some as it’s very snug.

Perfect for our short stay in Liverpool, the location is close to Albert Dock and Liverpool One shopping district, (only a ten minute stroll) Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, room was compact with a really compact bathroom but served it's purpose.

The staff is amazing and the hotel is wonderful. I wish it was a little more central into the city.

The rooms a re small, perfect for a short overnight stay. The beds are very comfortable. plenty of power/charging options. restaurant in the hotel, however we didn't eat there. there are several restaurants in walking distance. The docks are less than 5 minute drive.

Hotel was nice - a good selection for breakfast with nice view. Perfect location for the ferry to Isle of Man. Only discomfort was bed too close to bathroom door as room a bit small for a twin room

Very handy position

The main reason we chose to stay at the Dolby Hotel was it was neat where we wanted to be and it has a free on site car park. It was OK but the bed was small and it had the smallest bathroom we have ever seen, and we cruise a lot and ships have small bathrooms.
